A desert fortress that serves as the home for the Gerudo. Guarded and reinforced against intruders, it is their oasis in the harsh desert that is their home. Strangers are unwelcome, so it is best to avoid the fortress.

Also called the "Desert of Death" by the Wolf Laguz, The Haunted Wasteland is a vast expanse of sand. It is named as such for the various spirits that tend to appear here and there, souls that were lost to the endless seas of sand, covered up for all time, never to surface again.

At some point, the wolf tribes of Hatari split away from Gallia, heading to the continent of Hyrule and forming their own Laguz nation. However, they chose the desert. Resing on the other side of the Haunted Wasteland, which the Wolf Laguz call the "Desert of Death", the wolves, unlike most Laguz, have learned to deal with non-Laguz to an extent. However, their nation of Hatari is much like the Gerudo's; sand, sand, and more sand.

The remains of an ancient mine. A rocky expanse that used to hold obvious greenery. For some reason the area seems to be littered with tiny, little figured made from stone that all seem to be near identical. No one really knows what these figures are or what they are meant to represent.

A vast expanse of sand, all in a nearly flat, smooth surface unlike most other areas of the desert. Interestingly long dead foliage seems to imply that this was once a small sea within the confines of Hyrule, having once acted as a possible source of life.

Desert Province
A dry, rocky, and arid land to the west. Home to the Gerudo, the Desert Province is harsh and unforgiving, with a vast expanse of sand, several ruins, and interestingly enough, the remnants of what appears to be an ancient mining facility and a large expanse of sand once implied to be a small sea.
