[/div] Like the Consumables Shop, you can also buy weapons that can be used to aid you. These weapons are not necessary however and you can simply use your preferred, personal weapon that actually won't cost you anything; save the prices to upgrade it to the next level and such. So with that, you're probably asking yourself; why bother getting a storebought weapon?
Well I'll be blunt, you really don't need to. Storebought weapons however, do have some edges over a personal weapon. They're much cheaper in the immediate future than a personal weapon. Some can also hit much harder than a personal weapon, and you know exactly what the effect of a storebought weapon will be. Having trouble with Laguz? Get a Laguz killing weapon. Need something to last long enough to inflict a ton of damage? Get a glass weapon. It basically helps you prepare for very specific situations.
So then there's the inverse; why bother upgrading your personal weapon? Well the answer is simple. See that "uses" column for each of those weapons? That's how many times you can use that weapon (I.E. hit something with it) before it will break (or the pages are used up in the case of tomes). So for example, you can smack something 45 times with a Bronze Sword before it breaks. This means that the power is a very temporary power, and in time, the costs of storebought weapons will greatly outweigh that of just upgrading your personal toy. There is also zero customization (which means no personalized appearance). No physical storebought weapon does elemental damage, magical or otherwise. They do not get a personal magic power like yours can. And again, they break. Your personal weapon will not unless you want it to.
Really, the best answer I can give is; go with whatever you think works best for you. As always, if you wish to purchase a weapon from this shop, just make a post in your shopping thread stating so.

One handed, lightweight, sharp and with decent reach, swords are for those who prefer mobility, versatility, and power. The sword really doesn't have much in the way of flaws, but at the same time there's not much it can really do that most other weapons can't. They are useful for anyone of any build who knows how to use them. [/div] Greatswords are for those who want raw power, but still want to use a sword. Their long reach and great power makes them a valuable assett for those who know how to properly wield them. However, they require two hands and can be quite slow unless you have something to negate that, such as strength augmentation or perhaps more tellingly, the very first Racial Ability in a Gerudo's Life of War.Name | Information | Damage | Uses | Cost | Bronze Blade | A cheap, mediocre greatsword made from bronze. | | 45 | 200 | Iron Blade | A large, standard greatsword made from iron. | | 40 | 400 | Steel Blade | A large, well crafted greatsword made from steel. | | 35 | 600 | Silver Blade | An exquisite, magnificent greatsword made from silver. | | 30 | 800 | Giant's Knife | The work of the Gorons; one of the finest crafted greatswords money can buy. | | 30 | 1,000 | Wyrmslayer | A sharp, curved greatsword forged to pierce scales. [/div] Known for their long length, spears are good at fighting an enemy and keeping them out of your face. Their light weight allows them to be used with another weapon or perhaps a shield just in case the spear itself doesn't seem like it's enough. However, the downfall of the Spear is that its real killing power is at a certain distance. Once they're past that speartip, it's trouble. [/div] Massive lances with great killing power, Greatlances are meant for those who prefer range, but also a good amount of power behind their strokes. However, the wielder has very little defense once someone is in their face. They normally require two hands to wield, but a bit of help from augmented strength of the Gerudo's Life of War Racial can allow some to effortless use these beasts with one hand. [/div] Large, but still light enough to be able to effectively use with one hand, axes bring some of the best power that traditional melee weapons can have. If you see someone with an axe, it means one of two things; they saw the damage output and thought "I need that to minmax", or they actually know how to use it. Axes however, are a slashing and chopping weapon. They really can't be used as an effective stabbing weapon. However, the more damage thing is true. Name | Information | Damage | Uses | Cost | Bronze Axe | A mediocre, cheaply made axe forged from bronze. | | 45 | 150 | Iron Axe | A standard, mass produced iron axe. | | 40 | 300 | Steel Axe | A well crafted, strong steel axe. | | 35 | 450 | Silver Axe | An exquisitely crafted, magnificent silver axe. | | 30 | 600 | Brave Axe | A lightweight, exceptionally sharp axe that allows its user to attack twice with this axe. | | 30 | 800 | Killer Axe | An exotic axe that ignores any defense. | | 30 | 750 | Glass Axe | An extremely frail, yet extremely sharp glass axe. | | 3 | 200 | Devil Axe | An extremely powerful cursed axe. [/div] "Can anybody provide me with a decent challenge?!"The Poleaxes, also called Halberds, are basically hybrids between axes and spears. They include the tip of the spear, as well as the blade of the axe. So you do have an axe on a stick that can also stab. However, they are quite heavy, and without the proper skills (you know them by now), you will need two hands to be able to use them. Name | Information | Damage | Uses | Cost | Iron Poleaxe | A large, standard poleaxe made from iron. | | 40 | 500 | Steel Poleaxe | A large, well crafted poleaxe made from steel. | | 35 | 750 | Silver Poleaxe | An exquisite, magnificent poleaxe made from silver. | | 30 | 1,000 | Dragon Axe | A large, double edged poleaxe forged to pierce scales. [/div] The classical longranged weapon, bows are a good way to stay out of the heat of things and keep from wasting those precious hearts of yours. They allow one to take aim from the back and fire, with the only downsides being that they require both hands and no amount of augmentation or racial capability will change that; it's a part of design for the bow. The second downside is that there really isn't much in the way of defense once someone closes in. Though I guess you could stab them with the arrows? Name | Information | Damage | Uses | Cost | Bronze Bow | A mediocre, cheaply made bow forged from bronze. | | 45 | 100 | Iron Bow | A standard, mass produced iron bow. | | 40 | 250 | Steel Bow | A well crafted, strong steel bow. | | 35 | 400 | Silver Bow | An exquisitely crafted, magnificent silver bow. | | 30 | 550 | Brave Bow | A lightweight, exceptionally crafted bow that allows its user to attack twice with this bow. | | 30 | 700 | Killer Bow | An exotic bow that pierces any defense. | | 30 | 650 | Glass Bow | An extremely frail, yet extremely potent glass bow. | | 3 | 150 | Blessed Bow | A sturdy sword blessed to heal its wielder by each turn. Must be the weapon currently in use. | | 10 | 550 | Venin Bow | An ill made bow that while weak, inflicts Poison on anyone its blade manages to strike. | | 50 | 300 | Laguz Bow | A frail, yet very potent bow that deals double damage to Laguz. | | 15 | 700 |

[/div] A more recent technological innovation; Crossbows are a more advanced version of the bow. Firing bolts instead of arrows, their shots will pierce any form of armor. However, there is a catch. They are incredibly large and cumbersome, and not only require two hands, but you probably won't be able to switch very fluidly. They are also extremely expensive.Uniquely, Crossbow damage falls under Technological Mastery rather than Weapon Mastery. Personal crossbows are not armor piercing. Name | Information | Damage | Uses | Cost | Bronze Crossbow | A cheap, mediocre crossbow made from bronze. Ignores all defenses. | | 45 | 500 | Iron Crossbow | A large, standard crossbow made from iron. Ignores all defenses. | | 40 | 1,000 | Steel Crossbow | A large, well crafted crossbow made from steel. Ignores all defenses. | | 35 | 1,500 | Silver Crossbow | An exquisite, magnificent crossbow made from silver. Ignores all defenses. | | 30 | 2,000 | Arbalest | An extremely powerful crossbow capable of dealing incredible damage. Ignores all defenses. | | 25 | 2,500 |

[/div] Small, cheap, and lightweight, daggers are great when you need to do something in a stealthy manner, or just need to sneak in a weapon that people don't want to notice. Of course, while cheap the downside is obvious; they're small. Really small. It's not like a sword, you have to get within arm's length of a person if you want to hurt them, so be ready for that. Name | Information | Damage | Uses | Cost | Bronze Dagger | A mediocre, cheaply made dagger forged from bronze. | | 45 | 75 | Iron Dagger | A standard, mass produced iron dagger. | | 40 | 150 | Steel Dagger | A well crafted, strong steel dagger. | | 35 | 225 | Silver Dagger | An exquisitely crafted, magnificent silver dagger. | | 30 | 300 | Stiletto | An exotic dagger that pierces any defense. | | 30 | 350 | Beast Killer | A sturdy, yet very sharp dagger that deals double damage to Laguz. | | 20 | 400 |

[/div] Fire Magic is only one of many tomes. However, it, and all tomes, share the same characteristics. A certain spell can be flung a number of times before the pages are used up and the tome is worthless. Elemental damage can be taken advantage of and so can weaknesses like that of the Laguz. However, the downside is... you really think that book's going to stop a blow when Conan the Barbarian is breathing down your neck? [/div] Light and Dark magic are a form of magic all their own. They usually have some fort of side effect tacked on or something special. Light magic however, allows the user to encase their opponents in light in an attempt to inflict damage to them. Why is it expensive? Well, remember that all monsters (barring the Risen), being created from Demise, are all without exception, weak to Light. Buying one of these tomes turns you into a veritable monster killer. [/div] There is also healing magic, but these are more in the form of magic staves than anything. Usually, when using a healing staff, one must be close to their target, but some staves let you do it from far away, and some staves have some pretty nifty effects that'll come in handy. They're even better at defense than book! Plus, unlike potions, healing staves actually can be used in the midst of combat. [/div] Laguz and Manaketes are not left out either. If they so desire, they can purchase gems with them that grant them extra strength and protection. These are entirely unnecessary and can just be ignored, as their natural weapons are what are normally used. Rather, these stones just make for a temporary and expensive powerboost.
