Upon entering Castle Town, it never ceased to surprise her just how crowded it was, or how tall the buildings were. While true, she was born in Castle Town but due to her mother’s health failing, they had to move away from the big city. Having lived in the countryside for a good portion of her life made every experience into some place different exhilarating. Filtering through the incoherent conversations mixing and meshing together and watching people come and go left and right. She nearly fell on the ground from getting overwhelmed. Luckily, she remembered she was back in reality before someone bumped into her. Seeing as it was a good idea to start moving, she escaped the on-going living being traffic to escape into a market strip. It was lined with buildings catering to everything anyone could ever ask for. Fresh fruit stands offering red apples, berries, and vegetables from local groves to Ordon’s famous milk and cheese. The smart thing to do was pick up supplies such as food for the next few days, or see if there’s anybody who’d be willing to let her work temporarily so she had rupees to sustain herself. Well, Sey Sey was a typical girl. By typical, I mean, she adores impractical things such as lacey and pretty ribbons that were set up behind a glass window of an accessory shop for fine ladies of Hyrule. It was all really cute! Her bright blue eyes gleamed happily admiring all of the merchandise set up in front of her. Drats, why was it all so tempting! “That white one would go so well with my dress…” she mused quietly. “Oh! And that one would be perfect for a summer, yellow dress. Oh sweet Nayru, I can’t…” She had to leave before it got bad. Such temptation! tag: @gwen notes: And it's up~ MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ

this is everything i wanted tonight. As loathe as Guinevere was to leave her dear Charlotte, most denizens of Hyrule Castle Town did not take kindly to a massive bird hopping about their midst, and so Gwen had to dismount outside the gates and content herself with a kiss to her grumpy Loftwing's beak and a gentle goodbye. Charlotte huffed, annoyed at being dismissed, but she gave a gentle nudge in return regardless and quickly took off back to the sky. And so Gwen was left to her own devices, with only her staff, her cute outfit, and a purse full of rupees to her name.
She grinned. This would be fun.
Skyloft only had so much to offer in terms of fabric and fashion; the various stores restocked with new material every so often, but not as frequently as Guinevere would like, and she could only peruse the same selections so often before getting fed up. So she would go to Cassandra and beg off a day or three to pay a visit to the Surface, and Cassandra being the (wonderful, beautiful, amazing) kindhearted Knight she was, would relent, and permit the girl her fancies. So Gwen was here, weaving through the crowds as quickly as she could without bowling people over, rushing to get to one of her favorite accessory shops to see as much of their stock as humanly possible.
Before bursting into the store, Gwen paused to admire their window display; it was positively gorgeous, with perfect soft ribbons and lace so white and so fine it seemed to shine in the morning light. Another girl (shorter even than Gwen, which the Squire had frankly not thought possible) was even more enraptured than she, apparently mumbling to herself as she gazed at the display. Gwen only barely caught her words, and though they were not directed at her, she turned to look at the girl more completely.
Gwen almost cried. She was adorable. She wanted to pick this girl up and steal her away back to Skyloft, give up on her dreams of Knighthood and spend her days crafting the most beautiful, perfect outfits for this unbearably cute girl to wear. But that would be rude! She would have to introduce herself first, and the best way to do that was - well, common interests.
"If I may be so bold, miss," Gwen said with a soft smile, doing her best to contain her sudden surge of enthusiasm, "I believe that gorgeous ribbon you are wearing now goes perfectly with your dress. Too much white would wash you out. The black provides a nice contrast and goes well with the accents of your dress." | TAGGED: @seyka

Her bright blue eyes widened realizing she wasn’t alone anymore. She saw the image of another young lady approaching her from the perfectly polished window of the store. Seyka turned slightly to face the woman who made a thorough observation of the ribbon in her hair. Subconsciously, she reached up to twirl a few locks of her blond hair in between her fingers. “You really think so?” she asked eagerly. “I always worry for white. It goes well with almost any color, but it gets dirty the easiest. But I love this dress so much! My mother made it for me, and the material is made to take travel and look elegant.” The other blonde had quite an eye for the little details. Seyka liked her already~! “If I may say, you’re outfit is stunning as well~ It flatters your form very nicely. What’s the material your skirt’s made out of? It’s like the perfect middle ground between tan and brown.” Right off the bat, she was chatting away over material and fashion designs. The ponytailed blonde had a feeling this was going to be an interesting day already! “Would you like to look through the store’s selection with me? Oh yeah~ By the way, my name's Seyka. Seyka Rozengale. And you are?”tag: @gwen notes: This is going to be cavity-inducing cute >w> MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ

this is everything i wanted tonight. So cute so cute so cute, Gwen screamed internally. "I do," she said, unable to help her widening smile at the girl's enthusiasm. "White is a terrible hassle, but very worth it, I think. It looks absolutely marvelous on you; your mother is a talented seamstress." She felt a faint pang of loss for her own father, also a tailor, but she shook off the sudden wave of grief. She was speaking to a very, very cute girl about something that was very, very important to her.
She smoothed her hands down the front of her corset, automatically preening at the girl's compliment. She had assembled a smaller version of the outfit with her father's assistance when she was younger; when she outgrew it in her early teens, it was a simple matter to assemble it again. "The fabric is... silk dupion, I believe," she said, now smoothing out her skirt. "A little excessive for informal attire, but it is the only thing I have found that folds so crisply and is still lightweight. It was actually a gold color originally, but I used brown dye to get a darker hue."
Victory, she shrieked internally, and politely curtseyed when Seyka introduced herself. "Guinevere Martell, at your service. You can call me Gwen. I would love to go through this store with you. Actually..." She paused for a moment, considering, then mentally shrugged and went with her sudden idea. "I actually make a day of this whenever I visit Castle Town, visiting all my favorite clothing and accessory and fabric shops. Perhaps, if you are not busy today, we could go together...?" | TAGGED: @seyka
