It was a long walk to here from the workshop. May be this is why she never bothered restocking until she was absolutely out. The time spent walking could have definitely been better spent doing pretty much anything else. She couldn't send the apprentice to handle this though because they'd probably muck it up, not to mention they were off making a delivery. At least she had a couple sources of hired muscle to work with.
"May be we'll get lucky and I won't have to do this again any time soon."
With a sigh she checked back over her gear. She kept it light so she'd have the room for the jelly to bring back, so in one hand she held her metal staff and in the other the dark, misleading tome of rather not-dark content. Normally she'd have her longsword for back-up, but this time she could probably get away without it.
For now though, it was time to wait. Once the other two arrived, then the mass slaughter would begin. Tags: Nightmare Darklight, @amala

this is everything i wanted tonight. Did Amala have better things to do? Probably! That wouldn't stop her from absolutely wrecking the lives of as many chus as she possibly could in exchange for gem money. As soon as she heard the Wizard's mission and goal, she couldn't stop herself even if she wanted to. A war could break out that second and she wouldn't go back to the Fortress until she slaughtered as many chus as the Wizard desired. She was tempted to rush out right away, but she did retain some sense; she checked her gear first, though given her minimalistic nature that was... rather unnecessary. She had an heirloom spear and an empty bottle. Theoretically she could fill the bottle with something, but then she wouldn't be able to put anything neat she found into the bottle, so she preferred to leave it empty. It would probably be filled at some point in her life.
Her spear was in tiptop shape and her bottle was empty and unbroken, so with weapon in hand Amala set out for where the Wizard had designated the small group meet. Upon arrival, she simply waved with her free hand and grinned at the waiting mage. With two physical fighters and one (probably) reasonably effective healer, they made a solid team, which was always good. She never had enough healers to support the guard, which was fairly irritating when there also weren't enough alchemists to support the guards' potion demand.
Though, Amala thought, casting a sidelong glance at Hyrule's foremost potion crafter, maybe that could be remedied. She could find out after the rampant slaughter, perhaps. | TAGGED: Naomi the Wizard, Nightmare Darklight

HAI YAI FORCES Awesome, he was back in Hyrule. Yeah sure, his base of operations was on the other continent, but it wasn't really anything that Gwaihir couldn't handle. He'd also made sure to land quite a distance away so Gwaihir could get away undetected, so that would work as well. As far as anyone knew, he was just some guy that was showing up to help and try and get something useful out of the whole affair. One thing he needed, if Outer Heaven was to flourish, was supplies. And here he saw a chance to get some supplies for Outer Heaven. He figured hey, if he scratched her back, she'd scratch his and maybe he wouldn't have to pay.
That was why, when he approached, he already had a slip of paper and he was already writing things down. Nightmare couldn't afford to really be paying as much right away, considering that he was sort of unable to ever go home again and had to find his own way and make his own money. So with all that in consideration, he really didn't give much of a shit of the big woman that had decided to come along for the trip as well. Then again, he wondered if it would give her ideas. Not that it mattered, he could tell she was Gerudo, and probably needed the supplies anyway, given their, for lack of a better term, absolute shithole for living conditions.
Not even bothering to look up from what he was scribbling onto a paper, he just started speaking. "Okay, now, as I said, we can work something out. Readng up on your shop, it seems you offer discounts for people who can bring you materials they manage to acquire." He remarked. "With that in mind then, I am still a mercenary and as such do need to make ends meet; so I'll use some of the jelly I get, and you make the potion for free and we'll call it even, no rupees required. Sound fair?" He just callously offered, still not even bothering to look up from his little slip of paper.
This wouldn't be difficult, anyway.

"We'll see how good your performance is. You volunteered for this job after all." was Naomi's immediate response to the man whom was the last to arrive. Sure he was running a business, but so was she, and how well she could do depended on how well this guy could do his job. May be if they bring in enough she could afford a freebie, may be they would get almost none. Really, what sort of proper business man in this kind of work tried to seal the deal before they even had the product?
Letting out a sigh and resting her staff against her shoulder, she flipped open the tome and turned to a particular page. They were in an area where chus were supposed to be common, yet there were none to be seen. The obvious thought was that they were hiding, so she had to start poking them out of hiding.
"Vangwe vilisse," she recited with a practiced ease, letting loose a bolt of pure energy that struck a nearby bush. Aside from a neatly circular trimming of the bush's branches, it began to shake before two green piles of goop flew out, soon forming into the shape of chus. So they were hiding after all.
"There's the first of your targets. I'll provide support so you should be fine. Just make sure you don't ruin the jelly too much, or you'll put metal flakes into the potions." Tags: Nightmare Darklight, @amala Naomi Current Hearts: Green Chu 1: Green Chu 2:

HAI YAI FORCES He raised an eyebrow at her concerns with metal flakes contaminating the chu jelly. He supposed it made sense, it did possibly weaken the product and for someone who made their entire living based on selling potions that were entirely not terrible, he could see where it was a concern. Well, if nothing else, it just meant that he could potentially rake in a customer or something. Maybe it'd help build a reputation if he showed Outer Heaven was willing to help fulfill certain demands or ask that something be done in a certain way. "Metal flakes are an issue? Well then don't worry." He looked down at Silversnake, he figured he wouldn't be using it. And for chus, it seemed like a waste to use magic. Seeing the wounded chu, Nightmare lunged forward, thrusting a punch forward followed by a kick that swiped through the green chu with little issue. With that out of the way, the green chu was officially finished, though not before a little bit splashed on his cheeck, creating a bit of a burning sensation. That hurt a little, but not enough to make a fuss over. Thank the gods for clothes. But, with that out of the way, he'd go that one little extra mile further. Taking out his bottle, he reached down, putting the jelly into the bottle before it could really seep into the ground. "I'm surprised you're not more concerned with things like dirt contaminating the stuff." He remarked absentmindedly. Holding the bottle of green chu jelly, Nightmare looked at the other one, the Gerudo woman could probably handle that he was sure, which speaking of; "Well, maybe. I mean potions would be made from biological stuff, right? So something to represent strength. I think metal would just poison you or something." with that, he turned back to Naomi. "Do you have a place where I can dump the contents of this? If we're trying to keep this stuff pure, it'd be best to have a place where we can store the samples, right?" He spoke. He hoped she'd managed to think of something that could work out fairly well. If not, then this was about all he could do to keep things pure and she'd have to worry about dirty and metal flakes from what's her face then. Green Chu Chu A: Green Chu Chu B:

"You took that seriously? The flake thing was a joke, Chu jelly isn't acidic enough to cause metal to dissolve and break." Naomi responded slightly surprised that they genuinely took it to heart. Seriously, metal flakes? How did they not tell it was a joke? Oh well, it didn't matter. They had eliminated one of the Chus and were doing their job quite well so there wasn't much room to complain. It looked like the mercenary had taken a bit of a burn from the Chu jelly though, but that was an easy fix.
"Hrón envinyata," she spoke aloud, the staff glowing a faint aura as a similar aura appeared around the burn on the mercenary's face, before the skin mended itself and the pain receded. It wasn't much but it was probably enough to make up for that minor wound. She needed to get a stronger staff eventually, but for now the one she found in the broom closet would have to do.
"And as for storage, here I've got something we can use," she answered, securing her tome to her belt and opening one of her satchel bags. Inside were a number of glass tubes with stoppers, a bit smaller than a typical glass bottle but more than enough to store the amount of jelly needed. She casually tossed a couple of them to the mercenary to transfer the jelly while adding on, "Contamination isn't a big issue. Chu jelly's mildly acidic in its raw form so most potentially hazardous material is dissolved. It's really just getting the stuff before it scatters after the Chu's death you need to be careful about." [Healed Night for ] Tags: Nightmare Darklight, @amala

my soul was filled with crystal light. "Oh. Haha. Yeah. Funny joke." Hilarious. Amala had to give her props for trying, at least. Maybe it was wizard humor, and laughs were exclusive to potion crafters and the magically inclined.
The mercenary finished off the Chu she had sliced, so Amala turned her attention to the remaining enemy. It had already started moving, and slapped itself quite vigorously against her leg, leaving a small, slightly burning splash of green stuck to her skin. With the flat of her blade she smacked the thing down, then stabbed it for good measure. "But hypothetically speaking," she said, scooping up the jelly with her own bottle, "if something like metal wouldn't give essence of strength or anything like that, what would?" She carefully wiped the jelly on her leg into the bottle, then trotted over to the Wizard to transfer the jelly and claim a few empty vials of her own. "If it's metaphorical, then, what, a dragon scale or something like that?"

HAI YAI FORCES
Oh, so it was a joke. Well that was just great now wasn't it? He was trying to go out of his way to make sure that the samples stayed pure, and here this lady was trying to pull a fast one on all of them. That was just fantastic. Dammit. Taking a look at the woman, he just stared at her for a second before he unsheathed Silversnake. If he was going to be allowed to actually use his sword, then he was going to use his sword. He actually considered using that new trick of his to wrap it in light. It'd take care of the chus right quick. But, he figured that it really wouldn't be worth the use of it for such weak things, in all honesty.
Though it at least did bring up a topic of conversation between him and the Gerudo that he could capitalize on. "I don't think a dragon's scale would work for strength, if we're going with symbolic stuff." He remarked. That'd be more like armor if it was played in your favor, right? "If I had to guess; teeth. A dragon scale would be more for protection. It's always like, a dragon's fang that's used for a blade's sharpness in stories." Take a sword, forge it, then enhance it with a dragon fang to give it mystical powers or something like that. Sounded about right.
Looking at the woman that had asked for help, he simply motioned for her to lead the way. They probably still had a lot more chus to kill if she was to get a good stock going. Otherwise she'd just have only a couple basic potions, no doubt one of which would be used for her own personal use, and that would just be terrible for someone who sold in potions.

"Hrón envinyata," Naomi casually spoke, the staff lighting up again and the same glow appearing on the burns on the gerudo's leg, mending the flesh and easing the pain. That made two green chu's worth of jelly, which meant they were two for two. Both of them were doing what they were asked to do, so the whole process would go much faster. She aided the Gerudo in transfering the chu jelly into a proper vessel before putting it into her bag, handing back a few empty vials to aid in the collection process. The discussion was interesting enough to warrant a response, so she figured she'd add her own ideas.
"Fang may be, though personally if I were trying to make something to give strength I'd go for the claws, perhaps some muscles from the forearms, or the heart if we're really daring," she gave a shrug, since it was all hypothetical anyway she could allow the ideas to get carried away, "Though if we're talking elemental strength then you'd probably want....damn, what was the name of it? The sac that dragons use for their breath attacks. Preferably the one from a dragon of the element you're wanting. Of course that's all hinging on having something strong enough to break down dragon tissue if you're making it into a potion. I can't say for metallurgy how it'd work, though forging anything natural into a sword is weird anyway."
With another shrug, she took a look around the area. They had work to do, after all, and it didn't seem like the Chus were coming out to say hi. Or...she could be wrong. As her eyes swept over the area she saw a spot where there was an abnormal amount of red in a field of green. The three red spots sprung up to reveal three Red Chus, all moving right towards them. "Looks like they've come to us, that makes this easier." Tags: Nightmare Darklight, @amala [Healed Amala for ] Red Chu A: Red Chu B: Red Chu C:

my soul was filled with crystal light. A spot of light glowed on her leg and the burning sensation stopped immediately. Amala nodded at the Wizard in thanks, hung her bottle from her belt again and attached the vials as well, then quickly patted herself down to make sure everything was secure. Once assured that she was good to go, she turned her attention back to the conversation. "Dragon heart," she mused, squinting at the Red Chus that the Wizard had also noticed. "I'm not sure if that's gross or badass. Kinda fucked up, though, honestly, killing a dragon and dropping their heart in a potion. At least scales or claws or even fangs you could probably get without killing them."
As the Chus came closer Amala strode forward to meet them, smacking one out of the way with the flat of her blade and putting her foot through a second. The mercenary could handle the third, she was sure. "What about wyverns? Probably not as effective, but less cannibalistic, at least." When she pulled her foot back some of the goop stuck to her sandal, and though the leather protected most of her foot, her toes were exposed and burning a little bit. That'd be a pain in the ass to get in the vials, too. Less punting the chus, then. "I'm Amala, by the way. Amala Ashaliya."

HAI YAI FORCES So now everyone was getting around to introducing themselves or whatever. He supposed that he should probably give a name, it would at least help spread the reputation of the mercenaries a bit. Word of mouth was one way he could do things. And honestly, the more money he got, the better the chances he could move out of that old abandoned fort and into something that was a bit more respectable. It'd be really neat to have his own, custom built headquarters. Ooh, maybe now that he thought about it, he could have something built out at sea. Something like that could be a draw, it provided that international, exotic flair. Still, his brain was going off in completely different directions. "Nightmare Darklight, owner of the Outer Heaven Mercenaries." He responded rather simply before turning back to the topic on hand. It was an important topic too; one that they could not afford to ignore. "But still, wouldn't a heart symbolize courage more than anything? You know, those old rituals where you'd like, eat their heart to gain their courage and other things like that." Still, he supposed claws would work too, but he felt that a fang was what would do the trick. But that left the matter of the chus at work. The Champion seemed to be content with taking the two that she had selected, and he felt that he should probably take the third one. Unsheathing Silversnake, he took two swipes at the third Chu, taking it down a little bit. If she was so confident that she could handle the two, and by all accounts, she probably could; they were chus, then he'd let her, and he'd continue on in going after the one in front of him; help cut things down. It seemed that the gerudo, Amala, was capable enough to take on two of the Chus, leaving the third one for the Mercenary...Nightmare Darklight? What in the hell kind of name was that? Even just calling him Nightmare was just....ugh, so he would now be Night. That was short, simple, and flowed off the tongue a lot better. Of course, then Amala decided to kick a Chu....well that one was probably wasted for jelly. At least the other two would probably work out. Still, she probably took some burns from that kick (which was not a very bright idea to begin with), so it was time to patch them up.
"Hrón envinyata," she spoke aloud once more, healing Amala's burns again and continuing to monitor the situation. It seemed for this particular area, the two of them were more than enough to handle what had shown up thus far. Perhaps if they went to an even better area next time, and if Naomi herself equipped correctly, they could probably deal with bigger swarms. They might even be able to gather blue chu jelly, which would be even better. It's a tempting thought, and one she was seriously entertaining while watching the going-ons. She remembered reading about the nature of light magic and monsters after that brand appeared on her back, and most monsters were weak to it due to the struggle between Hylia and Demise. It'd be worth bringing if they went bigger next time since she could speed this process along.
"Depends really, sometimes the heart is courage, sometimes its strength of body. All relies on what you're aiming for. As for a wyvern...I suppose that works too, a lot easier to get than dragon parts at least, though definitely less effective," she responded casually, thinking for a moment before realizing she was the only one that didn't do an introduction and also remembering such was a social faux pas, "And just in case you two didn't know who you were helping, I'm Naomi, the Wizard." my soul was filled with crystal light. Amala couldn't help but snort aloud. "Nightmare Darklight?" she asked incredulously. "Either your parents were really drunk when you were born or you are in some serious trouble with the law. Outer Heaven has a nice ring to it, though. I like it." Odd name for a mercenary group, in her opinion, but with a name like Nightmare she figured everything he touched turned odd at some point.
The Chu she had smacked away returned with a vengeance, and she neatly sliced through it as it approached. She pulled a vial from her belt and stooped to scoop up the jelly before the second Chu recovered. "If any given part can represent a few different things, how do you know how the end result is going to turn out?" she asked as she filled and stoppered the vial. Slipping it back in her belt, she turned to the other Chu she was fighting. "If you really wanted a potion that would boost your strength, would you just cross your fingers and hope for the best, or say some magicky words, or would adding ingredients with similar properties do the trick? Say, ox blood, for example." She stabbed the Chu as it came closer, and though it was definitely injured, it still wasn't dead. They were pretty predictable, though, so Amala would just wait for it to come back to her instead of wasting time chasing after the thing. This Chu was probably a lost cause, anyway. She had wasted too much of the jelly by getting it all over her toes. At least the burning had stopped, again thanks to Naomi.
With everyone finally properly introduced, Amala gave a general wave in her companions' directions. It was nice to not have to mentally refer to them as 'mercenary' and 'wizard'. "Nice to meet you both. And sorry, by the way. I kicked a hole through this one and fucked up most of the jelly. Punting Chus is probably a bad idea." |

HAI YAI FORCES "Oh yes, I'm sure you'd know all about run ins with the law. But I'll have you know that I have no beef at all with any of the provinces, Hyrule or Ylisse." Nightmare shot the woman a glare, narrowing his eyes a bit. "Anyway I'd imagine that you make what you want to come out the strongest ingredient, or throw what it is you're hoping for into the pot as the last ingredient." He remarked as he watched the Gerudo woman mow one chu down. Well, that was one down. He had to admit, the girl had a real sharp weapon at her disposal. Maybe he could look into getting Silversnake sharpened somewhere down the line. It'd seen him through a lot honestly; he'd actually used it when the Exalt came knocking right after he'd been knighted. Thinking on it, it was his first time in actual warfare. Maybe that's why the idea of fighting as a mercenary came so easily to him; he had always been good at the fighting bit, perhaps it was just a combination of his natural affinity for combat and the fact that, when he really thought about it, he was actually a war veteran. But that still left the other two chus. The other one looked like it was on its last leg and the wizard could probably take care of it with little issue. That just left his. It was wounded, of that there was no doubt, and he figured he could take care of it pretty easily. He looked at Silversnake for a moment before swiping it twice through his red chu, causing it to fall down in a pile of goop. Honestly he was probably going to have to clean this sword later on, but for the moment, he would just have to deal with it. But yeah, the more he thought on it the more he realized he really should get this sword sharpened. Pulling out one of the vials that had been given to him, he started scooping the jelly into the vials, pulling another one out after it was full. At least he was able to collect as much as he could. Hopefully that would help. But he started rethinking the free red potion idea. Maybe if he got some jelly of his own, he could probably sell it. For a highly reduced price, naturally, but maybe at the right price, she just might buy it in order to save some time. Red Chu Chu A: Red Chu Chu B: Red Chu Chu C:

It was actually quite interesting, hearing the thoughts about potion brewing from non-magic users. Each sentence gave valuable insight into how the common man views the arcane and mystic. While ultimately she would probably think of this but nothing but entertainment after the fact, it was enlightening in the moment. She never really did get into the details of potion brewing with people beyond her apprentice, but the poor girl didn't quite have the mind for it. Well, yet anyway. That would be fixed in time with enough discipline and tome blastings. It was actually quite nice though to just have a semi-intellectual discussion about potion brewing for once.
"Amala's not far off with her second idea. Common herbalism has not progressed far enough to make the monstrous components in potions safe for consumption yet, so magic is used to fill the gap. That's why not everyone with a copy of 'How to brew a potion' can take over my job. With the right application of magic you are able to produce a safe-to-consume potion, and said magic can generally help influence the nature of the potion." Naomi responded in a matter-of-fact tone, watching the two eliminate two out of the three chu and leaving the one that was kicked remaining. Since that one had too much jelly wasted to be usable, she'd just go ahead and blast it.
"Vangwe vilisse," she chanted while holding the tome out before her, the bolt of raw magic appearing once more and homing in on the last remaining chu. When it made contact the bolt exploded and scattered the little remains of the chu left. With it slain, she turned to the vials the others had, and pulled out some more of the empty ones from her pack, "Here, swap out your filled ones for empty ones. We may keep running into bigger groups." Tags: Nightmare Darklight, @amala [Smote the last Chu for ]

my soul was filled with crystal light. "I was a guard for eight years, so yeah, I have some experience with law enforcement," Amala said mildly. That had been a low blow, she thought, and she couldn't help that it prickled, but she did her best to let it go. And she kind of deserved it, honestly, since she had just accused him of the same damn thing. No point in arguing with an ally. After a moment, a grin spread across her face once more. "So you're telling me that your parents were just really, really smashed when they named you?"
She was getting ready to finish off the last Chu as it slowly made its approach, but Naomi blasted it to smithereens before she had the chance. No jelly to salvage there, sadly, so Amala took the filled vials out of her belt and brought them to Naomi, switching them out for more empty ones. "Huh. That's pretty cool," she said, again making sure the vials were secure in her belt before she started scanning for more groups of chus. "What happens if you don't use magic on the potion? If I just drank a mix of, say, red chu jelly and some kind of healing leafy plant, would it just not do anything, or hurt me, or what?" She couldn't help but wonder how many non-magicky, ripoff potions were on the market. That would be all kinds of unsafe, and probably not the fun kind. |

HAI YAI FORCES
Taking a moment to wipe off the jelly, Nightmare handed Naomi the vials, getting out some fresh ones. He had a feeling they wouldn't be going on too much longer and things would be pretty good to go soon enough. Sheathing Silversnake, he took a good look at Amala, defiantly placing his hands on his hips. Oh yes, she wanted to get sassy, he was going to give her sass. He had so much sass in him he didn't even know what he was gonna do with it. "You know, the fact you keep coming back to getting drunk is really revealing; I can see why you're not exactly a guard anymore." He just remarked at her.
And while yes, running from the law was one reason, he'd not deny that there might have been another reason. "Because think about it for a moment. The real name is usually boring. I'm a mercenary, which means I'll be getting a reputation." Really, he could've just changed the name he went by to something ordinary, but where was the fun in that? "Do you think people are going to turn their heads when they hear that some random jackoff is there? No." Plus no one would care. "But with an alias, it's gonna be all 'oh shit it's Nightmare fucking Darklight do not pursue', and it's gonna snowball from there. You gotta think ahead."
But there was still the argument of potions, he would not allow himself to be defeated on a single front! "And for your information, a potion that hasn't been enchanted by magic is...!" Right, he didn't actually know that much about potions, so there wasn't much he could say on the subject. "Actually I'd imagine it come out to be a pretty shitty tasting beverage that doesn't really do much, if anything at all. Except maybe, I don't know, poison you or something."

Naomi just kept out of the argument regarding naming and the law. She had nothing to contribute to either discussion, thankfully, and she intended to keep it that way. She quite enjoyed her name the way it was, did not expect people to understand it, and she especially did not intend to have any unfortunate run-ins with the authorities. For now she organized the filled vials of jelly in her satchel, making sure they were separate from the empty ones. It was less an OCD thing and more she just didn't want to accidentally pick up a filled one to give someone when they need the empty ones. When the discussion turned to potions though, then she could actually provide something meaningful to the discussion.
"That's pretty much what'd happen, assuming best case scenario. You know the jelly that's been burning your flesh? Imagine drinking it. That's pretty much what an improperly made red potion will do to you, but on the inside." she commented, having it explained to her in great detail what happens when you don't make a potion correctly during her training. It's not the prettiest mental image, and it ensure she always does quality checks on her potions when she makes them. She has a reputation to uphold for all the wizards before her and all the ones that will follow.
Taking another look around, she kept an eye open for more chus to spring up. They had a half-decent haul but they needed a lot more to make a good stock. The commotion from their previous two skirmishes probably got the attention of others, as soon she saw four more pop up - two green and two red. "We've got more of them, let's keep this up. Need to get some more jelly before we leave." Tags: Nightmare Darklight, @amala Green Chu A: Green Chu B: Red Chu A: Red Chu B:

my soul was filled with crystal light. Ooh, sass. He put his hands on his hips and everything. Amala was trying so hard not to burst out laughing, trying harder than she ever had in her life, and she was only barely succeeding. "Implying I'm not great at my job while drunk off my ass," she snickered. "No one gives a damn if you're plastered s'long as you've got rank, you're fucking awesome at your job and you at least half-ass trying to walk straight." Goddesses only knew how many times she and the other guards had gotten called out of the barracks on their down time. Hauling ass all over the desert trying to kill Blins and catch criminals didn't sober anyone up as much as it should have. She didn't drink on the job, she did have some standards, but the job tended to infringe on her drinking time. Tragic. For everyone around her, anyway.
A giggle slipped through her strict no-laughing barrier. Then another. Maybe not so strict, then. "An alias like that, it's either gonna be oh shit do not pursue or damn, this assclown again, she managed, failing even harder at containing her giggles. "But you'll definitely make an impression, Nightie."
She choked down the laughter as best she could and nodded as seriously as she could manage, letting slip a tiny hiccup of a laugh every now and then. A single tear may or may not have slid down her cheek, forced out by the strength of her effort. Nightmare was just so ready to steamroll her on the potion thing and he just fell so flat. He was so much more fun with all this sass than he was with the 'I'm a cool smart mercenary and I do cool smart business' schtick he had when they first met up for the slaughter spree.
Naomi laid down some facts, and the idea of burning internal organs killed her gigglefit quickly enough, though she couldn't get rid of the shit-eating grin. "Note to self, then," she said. "Do not consume raw acidic monster parts." Before she could try to see if Nightmare had any buttons to press, Naomi pointed out even more Chus to kill. "Let's go, fearsome mercenary," she said, striding over to target the two green Chus and falling back into the rhythm of smack one, stab the other, become vaguely distressed over splashing raw acidic monster parts landing on bare flesh.
"Is it more acidic in larger quantities?" she asked out of mild curiosity. "If a monster of a Chu popped up and started slapping people, would it actually burn more or would it just feel like it 'cause it hit a bigger area? |
