With time to himself, he was finally able to step outside of the fortress. He was not used to be catered to, and at best felt outside if his element within those halls. Vandal inhaled the crisp desert air as he looked skyward. The sky was overcast, but it was highly unlikely to rain. Yet, thunder roared and lightning began to flash. It was typical for the desert to host thunderstorms. As he grew up, often times his only refuge would be ancient tombs long since raided.
He then turned his attention towards the mountains. In order to get there, he would have to travel through Hyrule. The mere thought of the Hylians would sicken most Gerudo, but he took it all in stride. There was definitely bad blood between the neighboring people, but there were not many that the Hylians did not have bad blood with. It was then that a seed of brilliance blossomed into what could potentially manifest beautifully. The mental pictures I keep with me...are they even real? I often find myself in a wonder that I inexplicably entered. No matter how much I try to escape, the power of these thoughts hold a great allure. There is no one sure reality, and I am afraid that I may one day be ensnared in the delusion of anticipation. Doubt disappeared as quickly as it began.
"In order to begin this new age greater moves must be made. There can be no hiding from the Hylians. I could also try to establish diplomatic relations with them, and I should first and foremost. However, there should always be contingencies. The Hylians like to think that they are superior and I am positive that superiority complex works against them in the rest of the world. Only time will tell if that is a correct assumption on my part."
The young pharaoh smiled as a plan began to form in his mind. My plan is to open up greater possibilities for my people. If that means others receive greater possibilities by some byproduct then by all means. Grander things are on the horizon. Deadlier circumstances loom.
