雪 に 覆 わ れ た 森 Valerie waded through through the trees, eventually stopped against a tree. Bokoblins were easily to track in a wooded area like this. The catch was, of course, that she was tracking several trails overlapping each other--most akin to a stampede, though with the knowledge that these were more humanoid than beast, calling it a horde sounded more tasteful. Given the time she had spent in the greenery of Hyrule, she had more time to prepare. She was dressed in a garb, covering enough to protect against stray branches and thorny bushes she may come across, although it's concealing nature left Valerie feeling uncomfortably warm. Given the rough estimate, she felt it was important not to meet the enemy's line of sight until absolutely necessary. Even when everyone else was with her, if the situation wasn't set up right, it would turn into a zerg fast. So Valerie waited. She felt that stopping for everyone to be ready was justified, but deep in her gut, she felt like they were slipping away. Her gloved hand gently grasped the bottom of her hilt; the blade, still attached to her side, had a strange, misty discolor to it.ENEMY STATUS

a wolf is called a king of beasts Falcar felt pretty confident about the coming fight, the party that had signed up to hunt down the bokoblins seemed to be fairly skilled fighters. He was the second to arrive, the only other being a Hylian girl. He clenched his jaw, well, Hylians came with the whole Hyrule package. He’d just have to work with the others to get it done, after all, this was a good chance to distract himself from ruling, and maybe make a little bit of pocket money too! He didn’t say anything to the Hylian as he crept up, near silently, and surveyed the area. It was hard to determine how many of the creatures they were going to be fighting, considering the tracks overlapped everywhere, but from what he knew of them, they weren’t the most difficult of monsters. He looked around, trees everywhere. He could play to his natural advantage here, having lived in the forest all his life. True, they were Hylian trees, not Gallian trees, but he would fit in just fine here. The rest of the group should be coming soon, and then it would be time to put the blins back in their places. Pieni carefully moved through the trees, having followed the bokoblin tracks for some time. As much as she wanted to go and find the others, she knew that running off was a sure-fire way to get lost. On the other hand, someone else was sure to be following them. Sure enough, two people, whom she assumed to be other members of the small group, were waiting there. "Hello?" she quietly whispered, still staying low. "Sorry I was a bit slow to get here, I had to find out what bokoblins are..." she muttered, trailing off when she saw their expressions. "I'll be quiet." she whispered, slinking back timidly, garnering more strange looks in the process. She had no idea what she was doing, but surely it couldn't be that hard, right? After all, everyone seemed to think that bokoblins were weak, even if they were in a group. She drew her dagger, the dull golden blade glinting slightly in the light, and waited with the others. OOC: Sorry it's so short, I don't have a lot of time tonight Kagmar stomped through the woods, towards the area he was supposed to meet the other three people who were going on the salvage run as well. He grumbled as he scratched at his rocky skin, stepping out through the trees as he saw three people in the distance. Kagmar grunted as he leaned through the trees, greeting the trio who he assumed were his temporary companions for the salvage. "Grrmph. Hello there! I am Kagmar, pleasure to meet you all. I am ready to drive off some Bokoblins, and get back what we came to. Let us roll." Kagmar walked over to the group as he said this, his mumbling grunt of a voice echoing slightly. 雪 に 覆 わ れ た 森 Valerie looked over the three that had joined her. Up ahead, several pairs of Bokoblins carry bags and boxes with them. They disturb the fallen leaves and underbrush as they proceed in a vague line. Five of them are beginning to lag behind the other three clumps of transport.
Valerie fiddled with her hands for a moment, before she spoke up, albeit in a hushed tone. "I want us in two pairs." She said. She glanced at Kagmar. "I want you to be the front. If you draw attention from our enemy, they'll be open to attack from the rest. Work from the tail-up."
Valerie gestured with her hand, sticking out a thumb in the direction of their target. Ideally, she wanted to minimize attention. She imagined that marginalizing the enemy and rushing in would bring attention to the entire group. A swarm would probably knock them all flat. Up ahead, one of the five bokoblins kept blowing into a wooden flute, trying to play some sort of tune. A few rocks were thrown at him, but he was determined to produce obnoxious and high-pitched noises--all while dancing awkwardly. The bokoblin next to him carried a large crate, and he had a paining frown on his face the whole way. The trees were numerous, but spread; each thick tree had a spacious gap, occupied by thriving grass and small, woody plants.ENEMY STATUS

Kagmar grinned as he slouched. "Harrumph. Tail up? Sounds like a good plan." He looked over at the Bokoblins. "I shall distract the Bokoblins from the front, by punching. Harrumph." Kagmar walked slowly and as quietly as a thunderous rock-man could around to the front of the first group of Bokoblins. He grunted as he stepped out, throwing a punch into a Bokoblin's face. A booming laugh echoed from his throat as the Goron threw another punch at the Bokoblin. "Grahahah! Teensy Bokoblin!" He laughed, as he tried his best to grab the attention of the crowd of Bokoblins. When he wasn't looking, a Bokoblin caught him off guard and clipped his side, hurting him. "Grrrr." Kagmar stood back up. He was about to yell out, but he stopped himself. If he drew attention from the other Bokoblins, there could be serious trouble. "Bahaha." He sat down, and laughed at the Bokoblins as they came, drawing The Elder's Sword from his side and readying his fist with the other hand. "Bring it on." Kagmar intended to fulfill his duties as a distraction by keeping all the attention of these first five on him. @superspooks Seri Meruonna Falcar LorrastamereCurrent HP: Current MP:

a wolf is called a king of beasts Falcar raised an eyebrow at the proposed plan. Split up in pairs? What an idea. The Goron was free to run around like a dumb brute should he choose, but there was no actual finesse to his attack. Falcar preferred to work on his own, neither Hylians nor Beorcs were any sort of match for him. He slipped away from the group, silent once more, and closed his eyes. He allowed himself to slip away, to lose his thoughts and embrace his inherent wildness. With a great surge of energy he inhaled deeply, and opened his eyes to see silver paws in front of him. His formshift was now complete. Slowly, he crept underneath the undergrowth, outside of the vision of the other two party members, and certainly out of view of the brutish Goron and the bokoblins. He picked out his target, the blin closest to him. He sat back on his legs, and waited for the time to strike. There! He leaped out of the bush and slashed the creature with each of his razor sharp claws, before leaping back into the undergrowth for cover to wait for another opportunity. "He doesn't seem to be listening..." she said, still watching the fighting. "I'll draw one towards us, we can deal with that, and do that to another one to help minimise the risk to the others." She carefully moved toward the fight, and whispered something unintelligible, carefully stabbing a nearby bokoblin, dazing it for a moment, backing away before it even thinks to come after her. "Let's see how they like that!" she said to herself, and carefully dodged around a few attacks from the bokoblin, though, still getting a light cut on her arm. "Ouch! I'll make you pay for that!" she cried, and backed away, drawing a bokoblin toward where Valerie stood. "Only one, so let's deal with it. Yeah?" she said quietly, still watching the bokoblin's movements carefully, her stance seeming unusually controlled for someone who seemed to be rather unused to fighting of any kind. 雪 に 覆 わ れ た 森 The bokoblin grasped at the crate, keeping it from falling down onto the ground. He started mouthing off at the bokoblin next to him. Before he could finish bellowing at the one next to him, his eyes wandered towards their rear and noticed Kagmar coming towards them. The bokoblin let go of the wooden box, pointing and shouting. By the time he had alerted the rest the five, Kagmar was upon them and blocking their front.
A bokoblin stepped in front of Kagmar. He blared an annoying, high-pitched noise from the flute, and he was punched in the face.
The other four bokoblins approached Kagmar, focusing on him. With their attention drawn on him, they were left with a painfully obtuse blindspot. One of them was struck from the covering greenery, and another was poke from behind.
In the two bokoblins' effort to find who had struck him, they laid their eyes on Pieni. One of them grasped another bokoblin's arm and yanked them back, bringing his attention to Valerie and Pieni. All three of them burst into a run towards them, while the other two bokoblins tightened their grasps on the thick, club-like branches.
Valerie mumbled under her breath. After a brief moment, she spoke clearer for Pieni. "Start kiting," she said.
Considering the future encounters, she didn't want others to tough out multiple enemies. Valerie drew her sword with her right hand, and clenched the left. With her offhand, she wrenched a palm forward and sent a vague, green essence forward. It collided with one of the bokoblins, and seemingly dispersed inside of him. He stumbled forwards, but regains his footing without falling over. He approached them with the other two.ENEMY STATUS Aggro listed in parenthesis.

a wolf is called a king of beasts The methods by which his party members were engaging the blins were effective, he had to admit, but none of them matched the finesse of razor sharp claws. Falcar had plenty of energy left, he wasn’t in danger of phasing out of his wolf form any time soon, so he took the initiative to attack again. Unseen by the Bokoblins still, the creatures were quite stupid, in reality, he set his eyes on the same blin that he’d engaged mere minutes ago. It was limping, one leg decimated by his claws, and Falcar aimed to up that damage presently. To the unobservant, it would seem that a flash of white exploded from the leaves to pass by the monster, but in reality, the wolf had slashed his victim yet again. Before the poor Bokoblin’s synapses had time to realize the hit, the wolf had passed by again for a second slash at the victim. The creature was weak now, and had no chance to match Falcar in this fight. Perhaps the others, if they ganged up together and fought their hardest, could take him down, but his current target was dead meat. Hidden yet again in the leaves of the undergrowth, Falcar flicked his claws to remove the blood, and waited for the chance to finish the blin.
