The Royal Family had extremely good relations with Lon Lon Ranch for many years. Producing the best products as well as the best horses anybody could find. Most of the horses that resided in the royal stables were bred from this very ranch. He sent a letter in advance several days prior to his visitation that he was arriving to check up on a horse. It was actually his mother’s former riding horse. Unfortunately, it got into an injury and no longer be of use. Not wanting to kill the beast off, Julian sent the old girl back to her ranch home where she can live the rest of her days being cared for.
He had good memories riding with his mother on that horse. Although his mother didn’t wish to recall those fonder days due to many years of embitterment from his father’s doings. ‘You’ll be a good leader, my sweet boy’ she would tell him. ‘Better than your father, I’ll bet.’ But all they were was words. Wishes projected on a child who was taking the stepping stones up to shaping his future. The rest remained uncertain.
Upon entering Lon Lon Ranch, Julian was welcomed by the peaceful scenery of animals out on a nice day. Cuccos frolicking in a cluster nearby the barn whilst most of the cows and horses were gathered in the corral. Some of the horses were running across the track that circulated the corral. His eyes searched around to find either of the Lon members. Maybe there were working? TAGS: @mjrn3 NOTES: I hope this entrance is good. |

| | she expected the world but it flew away from her reach so she ran away in her sleepAshe was certainly not unfamiliar to a hard day’s work, but extra effort had been placed in making sure everything was running smoothly today. It was not often that members of the Royal Family visited the ranch, but the relationship between the two were quite friendly. Lon Lon Ranch was the best place to purchase well-raised horses after all. This would be the first time her father entrusted her to ensure that this visit went well. Epona seemed to sense her nervous energy, which only made her mare fidget somewhat as Ashe lead her from the paddock along with the mare that the king had wished to visit. The two mares spent a good amount of time together, and it made it easier for her to lead the king’s mare when Epona was in the lead.
Her eyes widened somewhat when she noticed a man entering the ranch, which meant he had to be the king. It left her feeling somewhat flustered at being the one that needed to greet him accordingly. Ashe continued to walk forward with a welcome smile on her lips as she curtsied in greeting. That was the proper away to address him, right? It had been a long while since she had ventured to Castle Town, but she could remember her father taking her with him when they delivered their shipment of milk straight to the castle. Some of her more fond memories had been when she had been allowed to play in the courtyard while her father negotiated with the rulers of matters of the ranch and the business between the two.
“It’s an honor to have you here, your grace. Your mother’s mare has been well taken care of, and she’s been anxious to see you ever since your letter arrived.” Perhaps it was silly of her, but she enjoyed speaking with the animals. They honestly did understand much more than most gave them credit for. Ashe admired him for the fact that he was taking the time to see how his old friend was faring. Some owners would not give too much thought about a horse that had become injured and was no longer useful in their eyes.
