I WAS MEANT TO BE A WARRIOR PLEASE ► It had been a long while since Rune was able to just walk by herself. Well, she had friends near by but time to herself was a gift that she almost never got now-a-days. It was almost as though she never had time to think and as Exalt she really needed time to think. Taking a moment to breath was important for everyone, even her. So, she went to the woods and took some time. One of Rune's favorite sounds was the sound of nature, birds singing, and the wind rustling the trees. It was peaceful and wonderful and she almost felt more at home now then she did when she was in her room. Finally Rune came upon a small lake or pond, big enough to swim in but small enough to see the other side. At first she was just going to walk past it without a second thought, but honestly a swim sounded just find to her right now. So, pulling off her outer clothes and weapons she jumped in, it was a little colder then Rune expected and she came up from the initial shock from the cool water surrounding her, shaking her head. Her pink hair clung to her face as she pulled it out of the way. She giggled to herself, only wishing that Urlich could be here with her.

a wolf is called a king of beasts The day was hot, too hot to be doing work, or training, so it was the real reason that Falcar was spending the day in the shadows of the forest. Meditation, or his attempt at it, was how he planned to spend the next few hours. However, it would seem that someone didn’t want that to be the case, as the laguz was interrupted by the sounds of splashing. He sighed, figuring it was bad luck if he continued to relax while someone drowned in the pond just outside of the set of trees he was in.
He rose, and tried to gauge the situation from where he was standing. He couldn’t really see anything, there was a slight mist in the trees partially obscuring his view. He walked the short distance to the pond rather swiftly, just in case someone was actually drowning, and was greeted by the sight of a pink haired girl, splashing about and giggling in the water. He made a face, she was beorc, and so must have been from Ylisse. Not his most favorite place in the world. He would have walked away, but she had to have seen him by now.
“What on earth are you doing this far into the forest? It’s a long walk from Ylisse, girl,” he said. She looked familiar, but he couldn’t place it. Not when all he could see was her wet hair and the back of her head. Regardless, he just wanted her to leave.

I WAS MEANT TO BE A WARRIOR PLEASE ► Rune was surprised to hear someone coming along, turning her long pink hair clung to her wet mostly exposed body. But as always she stood tall and looked at him without any embarrassment. It was the king of wolf laguz, she had to memorize most of her other rulers faces and names. Though, she wasn't sure if he knew who she was. She decided to go ahead and let him find out himself if he needed too. Smiling softly Rune just spoke " Ah, just passing through on a long journey, I'm with a huge crew a few feet away. Sometimes people can get tiring though, so I decided to go ahead and take a break from them all." She smiled softly. " And what about you? What are you doing all the way, this far in the forest?" Run pulled herself out of the pond and sat herself on the edge of it looking at him, not expecting a good answer but an answer none-the-less.

a wolf is called a king of beasts The girl looked familiar. Really familiar. Falcar’s ears twitched a little, and unconsciously he flicked his tail that he retained in humanoid form as he struggled to place who she was. The heat was messing with his head. To give himself some time, he played along with her questions.
“I'm a ways from home, actually, but that’s sort of the reason why I came here today. Peace and quiet, like yourself. I know these trees rather well, each is like a friend from a long forgotten past,” he said, with what even he would admit was a pretentious sounding air. He was trying to keep up a haughty reputation until he could figure out where he’d seen her before. Definitely not Hatari, maybe in one of the shops in Ylisse? She looked like she could be a shop keeper of some sort, with her pink hair she’d draw lots of attention and lots of customers. Or maybe she was some sort of performer. She did say she was travelling with a large “crew”.
He opened his mouth to ask another question, but stopped short when a sudden small gust of wind brushed a lock of long pink hair aside. It revealed blue eyes that shattered the sunlight into a thousand fragments to be scattered across the irises. He took in a breath so quickly that he nearly choked. Or maybe she’s the goddessdamned Exalt. Well shit.
Falcar snapped his mouth shut and rubbed an ear. The sun was still burning but the internal ice of awkward was all he could feel. He felt really stupid for not recognizing her before, but then again, she’d not said anything about his own royal blood. He’d play it off for now.
“Your own friends, they’re probably worried that a girl like you is off wandering alone. They don’t know where you are, right? Best be careful, you never know what sort of stranger you’re going to meet,” he said, trying to recover from his lapse in diplomacy during the moment of recognition. Of all the people in the country, the Exalt. Really?
