In the wake of a storm, the sky always felt so clear and calm. Where there had been thrashing clouds and hurricane winds there was now clear sky as far as the eye could see. Even the great winds that dominated the sky seemed calmer, as if resting after the effort of the storm. It was wonderful weather for flying. With no hard weather or sudden winds to worry about, Keeya and Amtal could simply soar and bask in the feeling. Their minds meshed together, and they were one being in a clear sky.
Not entirely, they realized. Their Gerudo eyes were closed, and that half of them was perfectly relaxed against their loftwing back, bleeding into the bird. Their bird eyes noticed movement, and focused on one of the larger island fragments floating in the area. Something was there. White, and winged, with too many legs and a ridiculous aerodynamic. Pegasus, their Gerudo half supplied. From Ylisse.
Like waking from a dream, Keeya pulled back into herself and directed Amtal to fly closer. What was a pegasus doing all the way out here, and so close to Skyloft? No wonder we beat them, Amtal commented. It looks ridiculous.
There was a rider, too, and from what Keeya could tell, they were in bad shape. Had they been caught in the storm? She called out a greeting as they approached. "Hail, Ylisse! Skyloft bids you welcome!" She hopped off of Amtal's back to land near the edge of the island as they flew past, keeping a respectful distance until she determined the knight's intentions. Closer up, the pegasus only looked more ridiculous. It seemed far too long and too heavy to fly well. That was the bird talking, though. Dragons manage it well enough, Keeya reminded her.
Keeya got her first real look at the pegasus's rider, and the rest of the formal greeting died on her lips. She was tiny and golden-haired and radiant and possibly the cutest girl Keeya had ever seen. "Uh-" Keeya started, suddenly at a loss. She was stunning. Keeya was stunned. "Hi."

The Sky was, as always, ensconced in its wrappings of quiet reverence and peace of mind, a short flight away; she'd thought to wander, perhaps, and so the girl had set out for a respite from the sore muscles and quiet thoughts of her training to find an airy cove in which she could just settle and breathe. When she was almost there, though, she was intercepted in perhaps the most tumultuous way she could have been; a now greying horizon of a bristling storm stood in their path, forming a barrage of wind and thunder that all but picked them from the air and hurled them into the earth. They spent all night picking up the pieces, but still both beast and rider felt worse for wear, and probably looked it, too. A wind caught the underbelly of a bird and someone lying prone amongst its feathers; it was Argo's disdainful snort that prompted Ariadne's gaze up into the blue. The last wisps of the bird's shadow dissipated and she took a short breath, noting the fading image of a Loftwing and immediately seeking what she assumed was a Knight mid-patrol. Her face was cautious and dark with grime, golden hair unkempt like her Pegasus' ragged feathers - her voice trembled a little, and it was with concern. Her small body shook with cold and strain, legs obviously on the verge of giving out. Argo took to the defensive glaring daggers at the avian overhead. It was when Ariadne first looked at her - a too-long, slow head-to-toe appraisal that she let her quiver clatter senselessly to the ground from her hands. There was something primal, inevitable about the figure before her something that pulled her down and sank her to her knees. Ariadne's words were raw yet kind, "H-hello. I was caught up in the storm. L-lucky you happened by." MADE BY LILO OF GS |

SHAKE ME TO THE CORE MAKE ME STRONGER THAN BEFORE
Keeya rushed forward automatically as the girl fell to her knees, hovering nervously over her, unsure of what to do. The one time a pretty girl needed her help, and it was on a barren rock floating in the sky. Keeya took off her coat and wrapped it around the other girl. She went down to one knee, and put a hand on the blonde's shoulder. "I'm Keeya," she said gently. "Are you hurt? Can you fly?" Keeya reasoned that her best bet would be to take the girl to Skyloft and get something warm in her. There was a clear cry from above where Amtal circled and silently mocked the pegasus, and amusement twanged through their bond. You kiss one girl and you're already thinking about getting something warm into other girls.Keeya stiffened, a furious blush rising to her face. Food! I was thinking about food! For someone who was hovering fifty feet above, had no lips, and was also a bird, Amtal could grin with the best of them. So make her some breakfast.Tag: Ariadne FanelMADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ
