The entire cavern metropolis of the Goron's bustled with activity. Weaponsmith's sold quality armor and swords, merchants with tongues coated in heavy amounts of silver poached various knickknacks to children and adult alike. The village sentinel's stood with vigilant eyes that thoroughly scanned over the merriment being had. These soldiers; elite-guard sported samurai-esque armor with massive daunting weapons. Despite their intimidating appearance, each guard had some sort of jolly presence about them. The metropolis of the stony giants seemed well taken care of, but what about their leader; the current patriarch? "I understand," Konungr spoke with a prideful tone to the wraithlike figures surrounding him on all sides. Each ghostly enigma towered over the skyscraping Goron by a couple of feet and even seemed more intimidating than himself. "Idiotic, child!" One snarled as he approached the current patriarch with eyes of rage and disappointment. "Do you have any idea what it is you are suggesting?!" The incorporeal giant bellowed with clinched fists. Konungr leered deep into the red eyes of the being and continued to state his case. "We Goron's have no place in politics or war, I understand this. But when the Calamity arrives again ---" He was cut off by the enraged shadow. "Then you will handle it as it is your duty as patriarch. Don't you dare drag those high and mighty Hylian's into our peoples affairs!" With a grunt of intense anger, steam jetted from the nostrils of Konungr. He too clinched his massive hands into fists. "We're finished here. I'll handle this the way I see fit. You're in your current situation for a reason, remember that." The figure cackled like some insane hyena before taking slow steps away from Konungr. "Arrogant words, boyo. Disrespectful child that will throw away our peoples customs and traditions due to his own fear. Pathetic excuse of a ruler; pathetic excuse of a man." With that being said, one by one, each figure vanished; leaving the towering Goron by himself. The trance faded and Konungr found himself back within his dorm riddled with heads of beast that once threatened the very mountain he and his people called home. He sighed, stood up, and glared at the statue of the past patriarch. "Foolish..." He snatched his ivory haori and departed from the dorm with heavy footsteps; for he had more pressing matters to attend to.

OOC: Sorry that it's so short and possibly confusing, I only wrote maybe 10% of it before I had to do homework, and the rest right now. Kagmar had been sharing stories with the youth of the city, with his rear parked on a bench near the entrance to the Patriarch's Dorm. With the gleaming eyes almost pressed up against him in awe as he told his stories, Kagmar smiled. Then, without warning, a youthful Goron pumping what sound like a drum beat from his mouth rolled straight into Kagmar! "Hmpph! Is that really the way to treat an Elder?" Kagmar exclaimed, calm, but frustrated. "Meh. Later oldie, Time to blow this rocksicle stand!" The kid yelled, with a sarcastic undertone to the attitude of his voice. Shocked, and confused as to how a young Goron could be so disrespectful to their Elder. Already in a flustered, confused state, Kagmar was presented by the sight of a grumpy, steamy-nostriled Patriarch stomping out of his Den. He turned to the children and told them he'd be back when he was done calming the Patriarch. "Rough time again? Bmfff." Kagmar gruffled, as he began to walk along with the troubled Patriarch. He watched the Patriarch suffer with troubles unbeknownst to him everyday, and it seemed to be getting worse. And he wanted to know what troubled him so, as he hated to watch a close friend suffer alone. "Really now, don't you think you should explain why you're so troubled? It's not like there's something like, I don't know, The Calamity coming anytime soon, so I don't understand why you are so angered as of late."

Golden eyes gleaming with years of hardship, pain, and struggle examined the buzzing metropolis. Konungr couldn't help but crack a genuine grin as he watched his rocky kinfolk enjoy themselves and their grateful visitors and tourist. Each step the towering monarch took, miniature tremors danced across the immediate area. However, this was just another usual occurrence when Konungr was around. "Hm?" He came to a sudden halt as children; Goron and Hylian children alike ran circles around his hulking physique. They seemed to be playing some game of tag and deemed it a grand idea to use this mountain of rage and muscle as a plaything. He simply watched as the children giggled and continued to run laps around him. But children are fickle little things with the attention span to rival that of lowly Bokoblin's. So they eventually carried on with their fast paced game elsewhere. Another grin formed across the mug of the monarch as the children vanished within the sea of joy and fun. Off in the distance, Konungr spotted a very familiar face. "Brother Kagmar..." The very moment Konungr spotted the elder, the elder spotted him and wasted very little time making his way over towards the chieftain. Konungr listened intently to the elders initial words and nodded accordingly. "Indeed, Elder." He spoke with a casual yet still formal tone. However, the Elder's next string of words caused the Patriarch to stop dead in his tracks. "Your sarcasm..." The Calamity was nothing to joke about, but he'd let it slide just this once; there was no need to kill this joyous mood. He shook his head and dismissed the current thought and spoke. "You know my duties as Patriarch are never over. Looking troubled merely comes with the title. But I assure you, I look worse than I actually feel." Obviously he wasn't being 100% truthful and he knew this Elder would see right through his subtle deceit, so he needed to change the topic and quickly. "I believe your audience grows restless, Brother." Konungr exclaimed as golden eyes bestowed upon the children watching the both of them with glee and admiration. ★ @timecraked2

Kagmar could see right through the Patriarch's obvious dodge of further questioning. Kagmar wanted to help his troubled brother, but he knew that pushing him was a bad idea. So he went along with the Patriarch's dodge. "Ahhmph. Brother, I am sure they will be just fine without me. Come, let us walk." Kagmar walked on alongside the troubled leader. Kagmar knew he didn't want to talk about whatever troubled him so, so he had to try and ease some of the weight off of the Patriarch's troubled mind. He thought of a way. "Bmph. Brother." He spoke to the Patriarch. "Perhaps we could do something together to help keep some of this weight off of your mind. I hear the rocks in the caves are mighty tasty this year." Kagmar may care about the his sworn brother, but as much as he knew doing something relaxing or distracting might help, the trip to the caves was mostly for Kagmar. Kagmar was trying to usher the conversation towards going into the cave and dining on some rocks, as he was beginning to get majorly bad cravings for the magnetic gemstones of Death Mountain. All he could think about was a mouthful of those delicious, magnetized, electrified, blue gemstones from deep withing the Volcanic Core of the mountain. 00kid
