Naomi was not in a good mood. Courtesy of a near corpse barging in her door, she found out about the coming Blin invasion and the resurrection of some dark force that caused it. Said force was resurrected by the dumbass that was previously known as the Gerudo Archwitch, one she had heard of but never dealt with before. Now she was forever stained in the light of a dumbass because she resurrected an evil force. How did she not know it was evil? The tome was in BLIN for Goddesses' sake. The only time the unequivocally evil force known as the Blins would study magic was for evil. May be common sense was not common sense after all.
And that was how Naomi found herself out here with the most rag-tag group possible. Reason being, she was distancing herself from the idiots she helped who caused this mess to begin with. Unfortunately, it seemed the people she could actually count on for a fight were unable to be reached in time. And that was how she ended up with this rag-tag band: her apprentice, whom she considered useless for this, and two squires from Skyloft she had never met before. Apparently they were friends with Tala or something. How did Tala even have friends, let alone time for friends? Oh, that's right. Tala never does her job.
"Just....try not to get in the way, and keep the little ones off me. I'm gonna blast the big ones to oblivion." she spoke to the others, issuing an order but not hopeful about it being followed. She knew Tala wasn't going to listen, and she literally did not know the others. Flipping open the pages of her light tome, and checking her staff was on her back, she focused her sights on one of the Big Blins that was approaching them, seeing how much she could do before they got close.
"Atnahtana ló aina alca!" two bolts of light manifested in front of her, flying through the air and striking the big blin before it could raise its shield. She had the advantage of range on the Big Blins, so she could probably kill them without letting them get close. She could not speak for the others, however. [SURPRISE ROUND! I GOT THIS FEELING ON A SUMMERS DAY ► Tala knew that Miss Naomi was not happy that she was now stuck with her and her "friends" from Skyloft. Honestly, Tala wasn't a fan of the Aspen girl, but she kept her mouth shut for the sake of things. And well.. things with Levi were awkward. It kinda felt like he wasn't interested in her anymore. But.. she was always taught that once something like that happens between two people they were together for ever. So she was confused as her hands fidgeted with her staff in her hands. That wasn't something to worry about now though. Instead she had to focus on the task at hand, the blin army that some witch or something let loose on accident. Honestly, Tala wasn't sure what was up with any of that or anything. Still, it was kind of hard to believe that it was an accident when it sounded like it was something that was hard to do accidentally. Tala started focusing when her instructor started talking. Her eyes focused on the enemy ahead. " Alright!" She spoke in her 'I'll do whatever you say, don't hate me' tone that she always used with her master. And so, she ran at the smallest one and used a spell through her staff on it. - To the minblin leaving him with

broken dreams and hardened hearts How in the hell did she end up here? Aspen looked around at the impossibly strange group she found herself with now, facing down some seriously nasty enemies. This was one of countless reasons why it was better to ignore Levi whenever he came up with some horrible idea to drag her along with. She was stuck with some bad-tempered wizard and her airheaded apprentice. Honestly, the girl, Tala, looked like she was more fit to run a bar than a magic shop. Leave it to Levi to find the pretty and stupid type. Honestly, she half considered backing out now. This group was doomed. But… while she was here, she might as well have some of her own fun, if briefly. She scanned the row of enemies, evaluating what would give her the maximum results for the minimum effort. Tala had just mildly stunned the littlest blin, Aspen rolled her eyes at that, but Naomi had done some serious light damage to the biggest one. It looked like it was in some serious trouble. Aspen ran out at the blin and swung out with her katana in hand, slashing it as she moved by, then quickly retreated. Hopefully Levi would be able to finish it off, but considering that it was Levi… she doubted it. Tagged: Naomi the Wizard Talaria Halestorm Levi StoneNotes: boop Word Count: 216

Tala listened to her? What? That was new. The young apprentice went to go keep the little Miniblin occupied. Though she couldn't do much to it, it was occupied. Naomi was genuinely surprised by this sudden obedience, but perhaps it was because they were in the actual way of harm for once. Danger did wonders to manipulate a person's personality, which she wished could be said for the two Skyloftians they ended up with. Instead of listening of course, they decided to steal her kill. Vultures, the lot of them. Their decision to focus on one allowed the other four to move in to actually hit them. For Naomi, one of the Bokoblins managed to move in while she was occupied blasting the Big Blin, and jabbed her in the leg with a small sword.
Hopping away from the Bokoblin as an instinctive reaction, she suppressed the vocal pain reaction from it and focused more on her anger and frustration with the idiots she was paired with.
"Don't they teach you anything of strategy up in the clouds? Seriously, knight 101: protect the one who isn't armed with a metal weapon, especially when they provide you with magic." she spoke to the squires with annoyance oozing from her tone, deciding for now she'd leave the nice big ones for them to get bashed by while she swept up the little ones. May be then they'd appreciate her work a little more~.
"Atnahtana ló aina alca!" the wizard chanted once more, each bolt of light aimed at a different target. Out of courtesy for her apprentice, and to free up her healing staff, one was aimed for the Miniblin, while the other was headed for the Bokoblin that just shanked her. Both stuck home, causing the creatures to dissolve in a small flash of light, before returning to dark wisps in the sky. With that being said, she now turned her gaze to her apprentice, who had another job to do.
"Put that staff to work and patch me up!" she barked, hoping Tala's previous obedience was not a fluke. It would be nice to not have a bleeding stab wound in her leg. broken dreams and hardened hearts The wizard woman was being extremely annoying at the current moment. Okay, sure, she had the right to after being stabbed by a blin, but everyone got stabbed at one point or another. The people who she’d stabbed before went out quietly, not like a grumpy old geezer. Aspen rolled her eyes and leaned back, pulling her sword with her until she sprang forward to slash at one of the few blins left. She didn’t have to sit here and take orders from anyone who complained as much as Naomi did. She and Levi had tons of formal training as knights – they were almost ready to graduate! “Just because you’ve got some fancy tomes doesn’t mean you can shout orders around, hag!” she shouted. She even had an apprentice who was ordered around to heal her – the wizard should have been fine. Aspen flipped her hair over her shoulder to get it out of her face, as a spray of blood had dampened it, even though the color totally blended in and got ready for the next hit. » "Damn!" Levi swore when he saw the mage woman get attacked. Even though she was annoying and acted superior to everyone here. Then again, Levi thought of an excuse relatively quickly. "How are we supposed to watch out for everyone with all of these trees blocking our view?"
Almost as if to prove his point a bulbin peaked out from behind a nearby tree. By the time Levi took notice, the blin had already thrust it's sword at him. Though Levi had been able to move out of the way, it still created a broad scratch on the squire. Levi in turn took his spear and returned the gift in kind to the blin.

It was gonna be this game huh? Tala was frozen, probably not used to the combat going on and actually seeing all these people injured or something, and frankly the squires were just being little pricks. Naomi really was not enjoying the company she ended up with, but if they wanted to play that game, she could play right back. Not that she'd make it obvious what she was doing though, no she'd need to be a little more subtle than them. Though it looked like those Bulblins were right within blasting range for her, so she could pick those up in a second.
"It's not the tomes that let me shout orders; it's actually knowing what I'm doing, kid." Naomi responded to the red head's complaining mostly uninterested with a hint of irritation and arrogance. The arrogance was mostly just to piss her off though, and while Naomi did indeed believe she was the one fit to take command here it was for totally different reasons. Well, not totally different reasons. She did in fact know what she was doing because she had been doing this longer than all three of the others here, which lead into the reason of age, and the fact that all three of the others still had yet to even graduate from their respective apprenticeships. Of course, Tala wouldn't graduate until Naomi was either dead or crippled to the point of being unable to use magic, but that was irrelevant.
"Atnahtana ló aina alca!" The two bolts of light flew once more, striking both Bulblins from a nice safe distance and giving them the same treatment as the Bokoblin and Miniblin moments before. With that done, the only one left would be the other Bigblin who was still a good ways away from her. She thanked the stubby legs on it and its large body mass for it. While she was at it though..."And that makes four for me~"
Yeah. She can play this game. Time to flaunt the kill count. [Blasted both Bulblins for each] [Naomi Remaining Hearts: ] [Miniblin A: Bokoblin A: Bulblin A: Bulblin B: Big Blin A: Big Blin B: ]
