TAKE THE WHEEL So, thanks to some dumbshit, or something, he really didn't know the details, a Demon Lord who had served the Demon King Demise was now up and running and in about no time flat, had managed to somehow unite all the Blins under one banner? Unbelievable. See this, this was something that Skyloft would be all in an uproar about, which meant that he had to be seriously careful about how he got involved. Oh sure, the natural answer was to just let it happen, but one, this was a great chance to get his name out there, and two, he still followed some of his oaths. Naturally letting a Demon Lord run around unchecked went against everything he stood for. That was why he had elected to travel with the Exalt to join up with some really weird people, though Gwaihir was not happy to be left behind, the less people that knew he had a Loftwing, the better. Huh, one of them seemed pretty familiar too. Running a gloved hand through his hair, he looked at their opposition. It all seemed pretty simple. Yeah, there was a goblin, but the real danger was in that uruk that accompanied them. A scimitar and a claymore if it was outnumbered. Nevermind that it was actually intelligent. Reaching down to his waists, Nightmare looked at all those around him. "Right, so, I'm hoping you guys stocked up on potions or other things beforehand?" People were going to get hurt, and he sure as hell wasn't going to waste his Blue Potion on everything, and his healing staff could provide only so much help. His hands gripping Silversnake and the glass sword he'd brought along, the two weapons began to glow with a soft light, thank the gods for this enchantment thing he had. Still no clue how he got it, but the fact that it let him enchant things with the light element, among others, he noticed, made it an incredible boon. "Anyway, I can take care of the uruk, keep the others busy for a moment." So even if they didn't bring things to heal them, then at least he could help lighten the load somewhat, but he wasn't using up his Blue Potion. As the blins approached in a frighteningly organized formation, damn Ulblins, Nightmare readied the glass sword. As the two forces began to clash, Nightmare found himself dodging a well aimed strike from the Ulblin, before plunging the glass sword, enchanted with light, between a small gap in the Ulblin's armor. It proved to be pretty effective, actually. Thanks to that light, the advantage was enough to destroy the Ulblin, as the body crumpled down onto the rocky ground. That at least made things somewhat easier, though now they had the Goblin to deal with, and a couple of other weaker blins, but the worst was out of the way. So apparently someone brought a servant of the Demon King Demise back out of wherever exactly they were, and now they're running about gathering blins to take over Hyrule, or something. Ciel doesn't like Blins. So naturally, he stepped up to fight the bloody little buggers. Ciel had joined up with a curious group to say the least. His fellow postwoman, Seri. The Exalt of Ylisse, and two Mercenaries, one with a legendary blade. The other mercenary, who Ciel was new to meeting, seemed to be familiar with Seri in some way, this was probably just a hunch though. The new merc said something about potions. "Yeah, my bottles all filled up." He said in response, before watching as the Merc took down an Ulblin on his own. "By the goddesses, did he really just do that?" He asked himself aloud, obviously impressed with his new temporary companion. But compliments were best to be saved for later, as the Blins were marching in an organized formation, and had already started attacking. Ciel just narrowly missed an attack from a Bulblin, and responded by letting out a grunt as he released his new spell in the direction of the Blinnish bastards face. "AERO!" He shouted, as the wind energy injured the Bulblin. Seri jumped back, dodging a blow from the goblin. She quickly parried a second blow, before heading toward the two miniblins. With some luck, she should be able to keep them both away from her companions. After all, that way, two of her companions could fight the goblin, and one for each bulblin. She slashed at one, catching it on the eye. Not too hard. "Two of you handle the goblin, one on each bulblin. I'll deal with the pests, and help out afterwards." She parried a blow from a miniblin effortlessly, before preparing to strike again. Damage summary: Attacked miniblin A for with the sol katti. Yea, it was real interesting today; it wasn't every day that you found yourself under siege by a dark lord and a horde of blins. Honestly, he didn't know much about blins, given he was never that interested in myths and the like, though today he learned that they were very real. He was even told by his new postman ally here that he should have known that they were real, given they were in history books, rather than myths; he never really bothered to learn the difference.
Today was also different in that it also wasn't every day that you fended off a horde of blins and a dark lord in the company of another mercenary, a postman and a postwoman, and the exact of ylisstol. Honestly, that last one was the strangest icing on the cake, and he wondered how this group of people were even brought together for this; the location and the roles these people had put came from very different walks of life. That is, save the two mercenaries.
Speaking of, his competition just one-shotted a big, ugly ulblin. To be honest, he really didn't know what an Ulblin was, but given how intelligent and powerful it looked, combined with the fact that his new postman ally was shocked and surprised, he figured that it was quite a big deal, and probably shouldn't have been possible.
Sven, however, was still unimpressed. He knew what a glass sword was. As a swordsman and mercenary, he was fairly versed in all weaponry commonly made, and he had even wielded one before; incredibly sharp, though fragile, it often left sharp pieces in the wounds of those it slashed or stabbed. But, the thing is, you usually didn't have too many solid swings with that thing before it fell a part into useless shards.
Sven saw the postman shoot wind at one of the creatures, then saw the postwoman slash a smaller one. She then barked out some orders, but he just couldn't take that seriously, and honestly had little interest in following them. Still, he felt maybe it would work in his favor to have more moral going on, so he called out to the other mercenary.
"Oi! Nightmare, was it? Lend me a hand with this Goblin thing. And sheath that glass sword; you'll never know when we will need it for something bigger."
And so he stabbed the goblin's big toe, dancing away from it's counterattack and taking it's attention.
