Seyka was so excited about today that she didn't get much sleep the night before. Early to rise, she went ahead and started on her chores so that she could have the rest of the day free for the special occasion going to happen later in the day. Take care of the dishes, go out to the shop to buy a few things that were needed in around the house, and various other small tasks she could get out of the way. Anything she could do so that her parents didn't have anything to hold against her from going to a very important meeting she had to go to today. The little blonde Hylian was no above sucking up to her parents to get on their good side so that she could get whatever she wanted. Even without all of the good-girl act, she was genuinely an honest, hard worker with whatever it is that she does. The morning quickly turned into the late afternoon by the time all of her work was taken cared of. Seyka changed out of her working clothes into her usual dainty white dress. Her hair pulled up into a ponytail, and her boots put on her feet before she was scampering off towards the door. “I'll be heading off now! See you later on during the day,” she told her parents. “We'll be expecting the new addition to our family today!” With that said, she was out of the door and into the open. Her little ponytail bounced up and down as the excited eleven year old scampered off out of the village entrance. Down the path passed the springs and over to the edge of the province where the land split off is where she awaited with much anticipation for the arrival of Cassandra Lon. If she had to then she would wait all day. LAIKA OF GS!

| It was always exciting to see one of the horses being bought and placed into a loving home. That was the purpose of the Ranch after all. No one raised horses and flightless loftwings like they did! Nor did any of them produce milk like their cows. Cassie was always proud in knowing she was providing everyone with the best animals and products Lon Lon Ranch could produce. She would still be somewhat sad to see Aslan go, though. He was a good stallion that even Epona found likeable, since the two of them had a similar spiritedness about them. While her mare was fully trained, she was riding the stallion to make sure they all got there in a timely manner. He was a good boy, but he liked to get into mischief when no one’s eye was on him. Epona could be trusted to follow behind her as the rode through Lanayru Province into Ordona to venture to Ordon. The ride certainly took the better part of the morning at a good pace.
No doubt her horses would be quite glad for the break, since even Epona’s sides were beginning to heave somewhat. Cassie had made sure to stop for rest breaks before exhaustion overtook them, but her excitement had pushed her somewhat. There was also the fact Seyka’s letter had spoken of hospitality, which she had been too selfish to turn aside. She had hardly ever explored the Ordona Province before, and she longed to see what lingered in the lush forest. Her bow was slung across her shoulder, since anything could be lingering nearby. Hopefully she did not have to use it, since her horseback archery was still somewhat shaky. Aslan was not Epona, since she was truly bonded to her mare in a way most riders and mounts were not. Perhaps Seyka would be that rider for this white stallion.
She tugged on Aslan’s reigns just a little to slow him down the moment she saw a blond haired girl up ahead. Well, it looked like she would not have to blindly wander through Ordona after all! A sharp whistle escaped her as she glanced back to Epona. Her mare had spotted the young girl as well, since her gallop had slowed into a much more welcome canter. No doubt the horses were relieved at the much more sedate pace before they eventually slowed to a stop before the girl. Cassie giggled at the sight of her, since she had little doubt the younger female would have stayed there all day just to wait for them. “I’m going to guess you’re Seyka, right? If that’s the case, nice to meet you in person! This is Aslan, and he’s been quite excited to meet you,” she greeted before sliding down from his saddle. |

How long was it going to take for Cassie to make it to Ordana Province? It's been a while since she traveled. She couldn't remember just how long it would take to travel through Hyrule Fields. Hopefully that will change soon. She wanted to be able to travel across the land and see all of the world. Her oceanic orbs for eyes looked up to the sky smiling softly at the excitement of getting her horse today~! The suspense of waiting was really hard to contain. Sey Sey wondered what kind of companion she was going to meet today. Suddenly, she focused her attention back to the front of her direction. Her mouth shaped a big 'o' as she saw small figure ascending from the borders. Soon enough figures were starting to form and she saw two horses riding across the pathway. That had to be Cassandra Lon! She quickly formed a bubbly smile across her lips. She stayed in place waiting for Cassie to stop the white stallion she was riding on top of. She gasped in awe looking back and forth between the mare and the white stallion. “Yes, I'm Seyka. You must be Cassandra Lon,” she replied back, “It's very nice to meet you. And you too, Aslan. Wow... the horses are very beautiful.” She approached Aslan slowly offering the snow white horse an excited smile. “And who is the sweet mare? Does she belong to you?”LAIKA OF GS!

| Cassie was quite pleased to see that Seyka was excited about the new addition to her family. It was certainly a good sign for her that her horse would be going to a good home. Aslan would be missed, but clearing out a stable was a good thing, too. One of the mares was expected to rear a foal soon enough, so the empty stable would be welcome. Perhaps she would take the time to visit, since Epona did like the stallion. One of the few horses that her mare actually interacted with without acting aloof as usual. Her nose did crinkle at the use of her entire name, though. Only her father called her by her full name, and that was during the rare cases where she got into trouble. “Please, just call me Cassie,” she replied with a bright smile. How adorable the short girl was. Seyka must be around ten-years-old, right?
Epona was always quite appreciative of a compliment about her lovely appearance. “Oh, yes, This is Epona. She’s been with me since she was born,” she answered with a bright smile. Aslan was content to longer with his new mistress, and Cassie gravitated towards Epona as she always did. Her mare was certainly acting more friendly now than she did around Seth. Her mare whickered gently before pressing her head affectionately against her chest. Such a wonderful horse as always. |

It was really hard to believe that she was officially the owner of a beautiful snow white stallion. She even liked his name. It had a nice ring to it~ This was going to be quite the test to prove how well she can care for an another living being. It was one thing to be able to hold her responsibilities such as maintaining her chores or watching over the younger children of the village. She lifted her palm up extending it out to gently pet Aslan's muzzle. The male creature enjoyed the attention or at least Seyka assumed that he was. She felt her heart melting on the inside from how cute he was! “Oh, ok then. Cassie, it is then,” she gave an apologetic smile, “It's really cute too~” The rancher girl was really pretty. Seyka admired the way she rode on Aslan like it was nothing and Epona followed faithfully behind the two. She couldn't help but wonder if Aslan would have that same kind of bond with the little Hylian blonde. Sey Sey looked over to Cassie as she walked over to her mare. A name to match with the creature brought a smile across her face. “Epona? That's a very pretty name for her. Is she like your very best friend?” she asked curiously, “I hope that I can have that kind of bond with Aslan. What do you say, boy?” She looked back over to Aslan who nudged her shoulder gently. A giggle escaped her lips as she patted his muzzle again lovingly. “Would you like to come over to the Village? I'm sure the ride across Hyrule Fields has been a long one through this morning. The horses can relax by the lake to cool off. I can show you around~” She offered. “Say Cassie... When the horses recover from the long ride, could I ask you, if it's not too much... Can you teach me how to ride a horse properly?”LAIKA OF GS!

| A small blush dusted her cheeks at Seyka’s compliment, and she had to look away for a moment. There were times when another girl could heat her cheeks up like Seth did. The younger blond girl was certainly rather cute, but just a little too young. Besides, Cassie still had to sort out her feelings toward her fellow Ranch hand. He was not even here and he filled up her thoughts! A slight huff of exasperation escaped her and she just stared at Epona. As if the mare was at thought, but all she got in return was a deadpan stare. No doubt the young mare was quite happy with having her all to herself for the day. Pink lips curled into a smile as she glanced back to Seyka. It looked like Aslan would be in good hands, since the younger female looked like she had fallen in love with the stallion.
“Oh, yes, Epona is my very best friend in the entire world. You could not ask for a better mare than her,” she cooed gently. Yes, her mare was certainly enjoying all of the attention from her. Her muzzle was still pressed comfortable against her chest as Cassie loosely hugged her. Nearly no one else mattered as much to her as Epona did. Papa and Seth definitely came close, though! She giggled at the thought before taking a small step back and looking to Seyka. Her offer to allow the horses to rest by a spring was rather tempting. No doubt Epona and Aslan would enjoy the time to quench their thirst and rest their muscles for awhile. Had she not intended to take advantage of Seyka’s hospitality?
“That sounds wonderful, Seyka. No doubt Aslan and Epona would be appreciative, too. Right, Epona?” Her mare whinnied her agreement quite happily. Cassie did tilt her head at the request to teach Seyka how to ride. Certainly an agreeable request, since the small girl would need the help with a large stallion like Aslan. “I would be happy to. The first thing to teach will be properly putting on a saddle and a bridle. It’s hard to ride without those.” |

That was strange. Cassie's face flushed a soft shade of red after Sey Sey complimented her on her nickname. It really was a cute variant of her name, so she had to say something about it. The naive little blonde could only speculate that it was probably because of the sun. Spring's climate was warm but she didn't know if it was because it was getting warmer by the days or not. Either way, she could only imagine it must've been a long ride through the morning to get to Ordona Province. It was time for the little Hylian girl to be a good hostess! Time to show Cassie the beautiful woodlands along with the humble village that she called home~
Hearing that she would be given some horseback riding lessons made Sey Sey bounce up and down happily. Who better to get riding lessons than someone who grew up raising livestocks? Seyka was ecstatic about the news. “I'm under your care then when we start riding,” she said. She bowed her head to Cassie. She did the same thing over to Aslan to show her appreciation already of having him as a new member of her family. Along with having a mount to ride around from place to place. “You too, Aslan. I'm trusting you to help me learn to be a quick rider.” With that said, she lifted up on her tippy toes in order to take hold of the snow white stallion's reigns. She gave them a very light tug to begin guiding her company down the man-made path.
The walk wouldn't take them too long. Though it would give Cassie and the animals a good feel of the quiet, tranquility that was known as Ordona. Aside from the singing birds, and the echoes of friendly wild-life scampering about the woods, it was nothing short of a peaceful seclusion of Hyrule's layout. “Here we are~” she announced happily, “Aslan, Epona. You two can rest here at the springs.” The sound of soft babbling ripples in the spring could be heard in the air. There was a soft breeze brushing up against the reeds.
“So tell me, Cassie~ What's it like to run a ranch? I bet it's a lot of hard work, isn't it?”

Was it possible for one young girl to be so adorable? Cassie really should not be having untoward thoughts towards someone younger than herself! She quickly shook her head in a vain attempt clear the blush from her cheeks. Oh, why did she have to embarrass herself so easily? Either way, it was sweet to see how respectful Seyka was towards Aslan. Cassie knew she was leaving the stallion in capable hands, but the young female would still need lessons in riding. There would also be a quick run through basic care and how to put on a saddle and bridle without it being too tight or too loose. There would be so much to go over in just one day! Hopefully some of it would be an easy trial and error, too. Aslan would let Seyka know if she did anything that made him uncomfortable. He was a gentle horse for the most part. Her hands tangled into Epona’s reigns as she lead the mare forward after her host and her new stallion. How lovely the Ordona Province was. There were so many trees and foliage that was breathtaking to take in all at once. Cassie knew the animals on the Ranch would find the Ordona Province quite a peaceful place to live. She would try to bring Epona and herself here more often, especially if she wanted to visit with Aslan and Seyka again. How different this way compared to her visits to Castle Town when she had to sell Lon Lon Milk. The large town was full of so many people and so crowded. Honestly, Cassie preferred the peace this forest had to offer over the hustle and bustle of the capital. The spring did take her breath away at the beauty of it, and even Epona paused to admire it. A familiarity to the mare she could not fathom, but she trotted forward at Seyka’s words to take a drink. “Oh, yes, the Ranch is a lot of work, but it’s very much worth it. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my life. The horses and the flightless loftwings are so much fun to train and spend time with. The cuccos are a little more tricky, and many of the cows are perfectly docile,” she explained with a giggle. Working on the Ranch was not an easy job in the least, since it certainly left her with calloused hands and a toned frame. The results were worth all of the effort, though. She could not imagine a life that would make her more happy. LAIKA OF GS!

Seyka listened attentively to Cassie’s words as she replied to the little blonde girl’s question. Very assertive, and there was that sentimental value in the older girl’s words that enticed a tinge of jealously. The ranch girl was very lucky in the sense that she had most of her life rooted to the ranch caring for animals. The work behind the labor was done out of love and in return she reaps rewards that many people take years to find in their own. Sey Sey couldn’t help but wonder would she find that in her life.
“How nice,” she mused happily, “It sounds like to me that you’ve got your best foot forward in life. You know where you’re going and continuing down that path head-on.” She patted gently on Aslan’s neck before letting go to get a drink and cool off by the spring with Epona. She twirled on her heels for a spin or two then took a few steps to stand in front of the spring. “It’s really nice out here. I love going outside and playing until I tire myself out. I’ll do more now with Aslan around, but I feel like… there’s more to do than just playing in the woods. Like I should see the rest of the world out there.” Ordona will always be her home but her heart was restless from staying in a stagnant state. Questioning when will the rest of her life truly begin?
Time continued to pass as she engaged in conversation with Cassie. She couldn’t help herself though – it wasn’t often that Sey Sey made friends from outside of her village. With such a small town like her hometown, everybody knows everyone, so there was a stroke of pride in her knowing that she’s made friends with someone outside of Ordon Village. “I wasn't born here in this province,” she explained, “My family is actually from Castle Town. In fact, my father is a retired Hylian Paladin, who served the Royal family. We moved to Ordona when my mother's health started getting bad from being in the city. It wasn't doing any good for her. I do want to go back and visit it again someday~”

Cassie knew where her future would eventually lead her to, but that was not all she wanted to do with her life. Running the Ranch and caring for the animals was a passion of hers. Was it the only one, though? No, she would still like to experience what the world would have to offer before she settled into what she believed the rest of her life would be. She still had three years left before she was considered an adult. Even then, she doubted her father would place her into a strict role before she had seen what Hyrule had to offer herself. “For now, I am. There is still a lot I would like to experience in life before I stick to one path. Anything could change between now and how many years into the future after all,” she replied with a slight smile. Such things could be worried about later, though. The future was not creeping down on her just yet. Cassie was enjoying spending her time with the younger girl and the two horses. She could certainly empathize with wishing to go beyond the borders of familiarity. There was more to Hyrule than just Lon Lon Ranch. Cassie had already been to Castle Town and had explored most of it’s corners. The castle was still a mystery to her, but she doubted anyone without business could enter there, anyway. Now she had come to Ordona Province for the first time by herself! That was an exciting aspect that let her know she could traverse more of Hyrule by herself without too much worry. Kakariko would be another fun place to visit, right? “There is certainly more of Hyrule to explore outside of Ordona Province. Perhaps I could take you to visit Lon Lon Ranch sometime. It’s not the most exciting place in Hyrule, but I think you would like it,” she suggested with a smile. Seyka would certainly love seeing all of the horses and other animals they raised, right? It was nice to speak with another female close to her in age. Two years was not too much of a difference, and she had the feeling that Seyka and herself could become close. They certainly held a love for their horses! Cassie listened at the shorter girl explained more of her past to her. Moving out of Castle Town was not a difficult decision to make in her mind. The business of the large town was fun for some, but she was sure a former Paladin would like the peace this corner of Hyrule could offer. “The quiet here would be a balm for anyone’s ailing health. Castle Town is really exciting, though! If you had your parents’ permission, then I would not mind riding with you there and showing you around.”LAIKA OF GS!

Everyone had a story to tell. Whether they were whispered, or told as if spoken to face to face, life continued to write events that happened as the blank pages ahead were filled with words. Whatever road she had to take sooner or later, Seyka hoped that her path would be paved with many adventures. She wanted to feel the rush of uncovering things that were left undiscovered or learn of things she never knew before. “That’s right,” she agreed, “Not everything is set in stone so it’s always nice to be flexible if things changes despite what road you decide to take in life.” Things will never go according to plans all of the time. Though it was always important that no matter what somebody does that they stand firm to the belief behind what they engage into. Otherwise, Sey Sey thought it would be sad to lose purpose in what you do... to an extent. Could never really understand the entirety of what goes on in people's heads and all~
“Would you really?” she asked with wide bright eyes. “I would love to visit Lon Lon Ranch! That would be, like super cool, and to get to see all of the animals there~ I really do love animals. I bet all of residents of the ranch are really cute, aren’t they?” Offering to visit the ranch definitely captured Sey Sey’s attention. Going off to other places a distance away from home has always been a fantasy. It didn’t matter if the places were just as ordinary as the small ranch back in Ordon Village. Somewhere unfamiliar than the comforts of home has always had an allure to the young Hylian girl.
No matter where she traveled out to or how much of the world she saw, Sey Sey would always consider Ordon Village her home. You could take the girl away from her homeland but you couldn’t take the homeland out of the girl. The little Hylian girl with hair the color of sunlight would never, ever forget about that. Though she was totally enraptured at the offer to go riding around Hyrule to see places. “Would you really? I would love that! You’re the best, Cassie!” If her voice wasn’t already high-pitched, and squeaky then it reached a whole new level of high due to the excitement that flooded her senses. Speaking of riding, it would seem that the horses were staring up at them. Aslan was swishing his tail a couple of times before shifting his head to and fro. “What’s up, boy?” she asked.
The white stallion clopped over to the short eleven year old. His muzzle pushing against her chest gently as she noticed the reigns were dangling. Oh~! Was this his way of telling them he was ready to start riding? Sey Sey looked back over to Cassie and smiled a bubbly smile. “I think Aslan would like to ride around again. Shall we start with the horseback riding lessons now?” she asked curiously.

Cassie smiled indulgently at Seyka’s growing excitement at being able to visit places outside of Ordon. It must be nice to go past the forest boundaries that hardly ever seemed to change. Getting away from the Ranch was nice everyone once in awhile, so she could understand why Seyka would like to see the other places in Hyrule. “I wouldn’t mind bringing you to either Castle Town or the Ranch. Both of them would be a change of pace for you,” she replied brightly. Seyka’s voice was so high pitched with her excitement and Cassie had to keep herself from bursting into giggles. The younger girl really was quite adorable to watch. Did she grow excited with everything? It was a rather endearing trait that had her silently giggling to herself. Her head tilted when she noticed Aslan and Epona staring at them from the spring. Oh, were they finished resting already? Cassie smiled as Epona trotted over to her with a soft whinny. Her hands reached out to stroke her mane gently. Blue eyes flickered over to Aslan as he trotted towards his own owner. Well, it looked like both of the horses were ready to start practice, right? The only problem was how she was going to get Seyka onto the large stallion. Her size was quite small even for her age. It looked like she would simply have to give the small girl a boost, and she would need a stepping stool for any other time to get onto Aslan until she could figure out how to pull herself up on her own. “Of course, but the first thing to start with is properly placing a saddle on,” Cassie replied. She moved towards Aslan and unbuckled the saddle before showing Seyka the proper way to place it on and the way where it would not be too tight or too loose. LAIKA OF GS!

If she could explore far off places before her time was up in this realm then Seyka could say that she lived without any regrets. The little blonde didn’t have any problems with where she was living. In fact, she loved it for the peaceful scenery, and blissful childhood she was granted already. Seyka just wanted to explore what else was out there. To understand things she never knew before or uncover some strange mystery like going on an adventure into the unknown.
The horses didn’t need to say a word to tell them that they were ready to get back moving. It would seem that Aslan wanted to measure up now the little blonde girl to see if she was capable of a rider. Seyka loved the white stallion already but she hoped that she could work together with the new found bond they formed from today forward. Cassie unbuckled the saddle before showing Sey Sey how to properly saddle her stallion. That was going to take a bit of work - especially with the poor girl's lack of height.
“Ready to go, Aslan?” she asked her horse. Aslan whinnied in an excited manner. The eleven year old approached her horse to check on the saddle then over to the reigns. “Ok boy. Sit!” she commanded.
… the horse looked at her with a dumbfounded expression across his face. She pointed down to the ground as if teaching a dog, but Seyka was completely serious. She was telling Aslan to sit. “Come on, Aslan. Sit boy,” she cooed one more time. She flashed her big blue eyes up at the stallion. Next thing she knew, the large horse actually plopped it’s rear onto the ground much like a canine was waiting for his master’s next command. Sey Sey giggled softly before giving Aslan a big hug. “Good boy,” she praised, “Now… hold still, please.”
The little Hylian child scrambled up into the saddle before tapping Aslan’s sides to stand up straight again. Once the horse was up, a mischievous grin formed across her lips. “HYAH!” she cried out.
The horse whinnied before bucking up to change directions, and off they went. She was pretty sure she must’ve startled the ever loving daylights out of Cassie, and the older blonde woman would be following after. Needless to say, the rest of the afternoon wouldn’t prove to be any bit boring.

Cassie was gazing at Seyka with a quirked brow. Was she truly asking her horse to sit like a dog? Was that even possible? She had witnessed Epona sitting on Seth with just a fraction of her weight to be mean to the poor redhead. She had never asked her mare to actually sit on the ground just so she could get on. Her expression was one of sheer bemusement, because she would have been more than happy to give the short girl a boost onto Aslan. Cassie looked back to Epona with a slight shake of her head. She did not think Seyka would seriously be able to get the stallion to sit on his hindquarters like a canine. The young Rancher jumped the moment the white horse actually sat back down as Seyka had asked him to. What in the world? Her own expression simply changed into one of mere shock as she just watched the scene in front of her. Soon enough Seyka had climbed onto Aslan, righted him into a standing position, and then proceeded to gallop off. “Seyka, wait! You don’t know how to control him!” she shouted. Cassie quickly jumped and vaulted herself onto Epona’s saddle effortlessly. Her fingers tangled into the mare’s mane before she lightly dug her heels into the horse’s sides. Epona shot off after the white stallion and his even shorter rider. Cassie raced after the two before her mare managed to close the distance between them easily enough. Her hand reached out to take Aslan’s reigns before sharply pulling to get the stallion to slow down. At her familiar touch, the stallion did slow his gallop into a much more manageable trot. “Do not do that again, Seyka! You have not ridden a horse before, do not know how to control him, and you could have thrown yourself off with how fast you were going!” Cassie scolded harshly. Horseback riding was not a sport to mess with concerning the inexperienced. LAIKA OF GS!

“WHOOOOAAAAAAA!”
Her voice pierced through the air as she cried out in sheer surprise on how fast the white stallion went. Maybe that wasn’t such a bright idea~ Seyka clutched for dear life onto the reigns as Aslan took off like a speeding bullet. She seriously underestimated the power her horse had in regards to running at his fullest potential. Her heart just about leap out of her chest as they galloped at an incredible speed the short Hylian girl couldn’t begin to see what was in front of her. “Ok, let’s slow down now, Aslan. This isn’t fun anymore,” she whimpered.
She attempted to keep herself balanced but that was easier said than done. How far were they traveling away from the springs? She had no idea, but she wanted Aslan to stop before she seriously gets thrown off. Last thing she wanted was to get herself injured and ruin her good faith with not only her parents but also with Cassie. “Easy Aslan! Easy boy!” She attempted to stop him by pulling on the reigns but she didn’t have enough strength to hold herself and stop him completely.
Another set of galloping hooves came in hot pursuit of Seyka and Aslan. Next thing the little blonde saw was Cassie riding up close. Her arm extended to grab hold of the reigns before slowing down fierce, speedy stallion. Sey Sey let go of the reigns but balanced herself on top of the saddle before looking back over to Cassie. She flinched violently as the ranch girl began scolding her. Her eyes began to water up at the corners. “S-Sorry about that Cassie,” she sniffed back from crying, “Aslan is… s-stronger than I thought. I won’t do that again, I promise. That was scary… Can we just do basics for now?”

Cassie could feel her chest rise up and down as she gasped for breath. The ride would not have caused her to have trouble breathing, but her anxiety over watching Seyka so recklessly gallop off like that had startled her into a near panic attack! Taking a deep breath, she slowly managed to stop her quivering form before she really let her temper rise. A part of her wanted to shout at the female for being so idiotic and acting without even stopping to think. A horse was not a pretty toy she could underestimate! The stallion was easily over one thousand pounds of pure muscles that could send her toppling off in an instant! Cassie could not remember feeling such anger in all of her life over someone being so careless! How could she trust Seyka if she would not wait for her instructions in the proper way to ride a horse? Her blue eyes narrowed when she noticed Seyka’s filling with tears. Normally such a thing would calm her, because she disliked seeing anyone upset. Not this time, because the girl could have easily killed herself and lost a valuable stallion! “Sorry is not good enough, Seyka. Aslan is not a pretty toy for you to play with, nor is riding off without a word of instruction going to make me trust you to care for him properly. You were reckless and careless and thought of nothing but your own excitement! You could have died if I had not brought Epona with me to be able to chase after you. I should just go back to the Ranch with him right now after that stunt!”Her cheeks were now flushed from the exertion from the run and now her anger. Cassie closed her eyes as she slowly composed herself. Losing her temper like this was something she hated to do, but Seyka did not deserve any sugar coating on how stupid she had been. The girl was sweet, but that was no excuse to do what she had done. “You are going to do everything I say. You will not ride ahead of me, nor will you attempt to go against my instruction. I want to trust you with Aslan, but you have to prove to me that you will be a responsible horse owner and rider,” she finished in a more gentle tone. LAIKA OF GS!

Cassie was mad. No, that wasn’t the right way to describe it. The Lon girl was flat out pissed off with Seyka. What she did was one of the single most immature stunts any novice rider could pull in regards to learning how to care, and ride a horse properly. The little blonde thought this would’ve been a piece of cake. Little did she realize just how much strength a horse had in comparison than she. Aslan easily proved himself to have far more strength in regards to handling himself than letting an inexperienced child take hold of the reigns. Still, he did what he was instructed and moved so it wasn’t his fault.
Sey Sey made a dumb move.
She lowered her head flinching over every end of Cassie’s sentence. Yeah, she wasn’t going to hear the end of it from neither the blonde or her parents when they returned back home. Blue eyes looked back over to Aslan who gave her a blank stare. If the horse could talk then it would definitely be saying somewhere along the lines that it was totally her fault. “I’m sorry…” she whimpered pathetically, “I’m so sorry…”
She silenced her soft hiccuping, on the brink of crying before Cassandra commanded that she followed every instruction, stayed behind Epona, and never pulling any crazy stunts ever again. For the rest of the duration of the horseback riding lessons, it was pretty much going to be boot camp from there on out.
