You dance like a queen, in spite of all the things you never wanted Ashe smiled gently as Guinevere seemed at a loss for words at the moment. All she wished to do was bring her friend back from the melancholy mood that had settled upon her shoulders. Such topics were always of a sensitive nature, but today should be a day for levity and fun spent in one another’s company. The two of them would finish their breakfast and visit their Loftwings and fly them through the skies. What could possibly bring more joy than that? Her head tilted to the side as Guinevere began to apologize. Ashe began to shake her head at the words, because the younger girl had nothing to be sorry about. Her voice had suddenly trailed off, which caused Ashe to glance around to find what the disturbance was. Pink lips pursed the moment she caught sight of Alexander. Of course he would find her just as she was attempting to console Guinevere. No, the Goddess had not blessed the boy with the sense of good timing. Her brow quirked at his greeting as he stopped to look between the two of them. Her hands still grasped her friend’s clearly, and she wondered how he would even take this situation. There was nothing scandalous about such actions, because the two of them were close friends. Girls were more free with their affections towards close, female friends. Ashe noticed he settled on staring at their joined hands, which she refused to let go of. Alexander was pondering the perfect statement to make in light of this. For a moment, all she saw was a haze of red at his brash and bold words. Ashe was not surprised at his deluded statements that the two of them would one day be together, but to suggest that she would harbor such feelings towards her best friend? She had nothing against those that found an attraction to their own gender, but saying such a thing in a cafeteria with eager ears did have her cheeks darkening. Ashe leveled a blank stare at Alexander before she felt Guinevere’s other hand cover both of her own. “I think that would be best,” she replied with a soft sigh. Emerald eyes flickered back to the younger boy before she smiled slightly. “It is good to have dreams, Alexander, but that is all that they are. Here, enjoy my last blueberry muffin.” Ashe stood slowly and maneuvered herself to stand near Guinevere as their hands were still entwined. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

Just like that, they wanted to get away, like he was some sort of plague. To Alex, it was pretty clear that they didn't want anything to do with him right now. Well too bad, they had asked for him and they were going to get him. Alexander Sorel did what Alexander Sorel wanted, ain't no one gonna clip his wings. So, looking at the muffin, he indeed did reach over and grab it for himself. Blueberry. He'd prefer strawberry but that was what was being served. So Alex, absolutely not caring at all that they were trying to ditch him simply followed. There was one thing he had heard from Guinevere that he just found to be too funny. Taking a good bite of the muffin, Ashelia would notice that he didn't seem too crazy about it. Alex simply mouthed the word "dry." "Protection, Ashelia?" He ended up chuckling. "While I can't suggest myself, as it would be improper for your chosen hero to go about protecting you at this time," He looked at Guinevere before resuming his discussion with his future girlfriend. "You could have chosen someone much better than this hag." Oh yes, Guinevere was now officially on his shit list. He would make sure to humiliate her the first chance he got to do so. Maybe he'd make her hurt or something. He started to turn to Guinevere. "Look at her!" He stated, motioning to several different parts of her body. "Those drills are just gaudy, that dress is far behind the times, and those eyes," He in particular pointed two fingers at her eyes before turning back to Ashelia. "Those eyes are as dead and soulless as a ReDead make no mistake. Girl doesn't even have her head on her shoulders." He paused for a moment before looking at Guinevere again, he had an idea of where to strike next. Oh yes, he wouldn't have enjoyed it if it had been directed towards him, but it might work. "Also her hat's stupid." tags: ashelia, guinivere notes: hag CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GS

you are a memory that continues to dream. Her fingers still twined with Ashelia’s, Guinevere led the way out of the cafeteria and into the hallway. She looked right, left; there was no one in sight. Most were likely sleeping, eating, or had already exited the premises.
Her grip on her friend’s hand tightened as Alexander followed him and began talking. Again. She was obviously struggling to restrain herself. Her brow twitched when he implied that he would be the chosen hero—the nerve!—and at the word ‘hag’, her mouth pressed into a line so thin you couldn’t see the color of her lips. Then he insulted her hair, and her clothing—it is not even a dress, moron, have you never seen a skirt before?—and apparently her eyes were soulless, which was just a blatant lie. Gwen had gorgeous eyes. She knew that for a fact. Stupid boy.
Despite everything, though, she was ready to just take a deep breath and keep moving, so she and Ashelia could go flying like they agreed. But then he insulted her hat. No one insulted Guinevere’s hat.
Quick as a flash, her expression twisted into one filled with burning rage, and she aimed a vicious kick towards the boy’s crotch. That would get him to shut up. | tagged: ashe, alex. notes: ballbreaking is her signature move. i'm not sorry. |

You dance like a queen, in spite of all the things you never wanted Why was she not surprised to see Alexander following them? If she was somehow involved, then he simply had to insert his presence into her life at every turn. Ashe knew that her being the Goddess this year would only make him more adamant to gain her attentions. Perhaps she could use her own Sailcloth to jump over the edge of Skyloft and run to the surface? A seriously tempting thought, but that would be the cowardly way out. Ashe could easily ignore his statements, since she had grown used to them over the years. He could insult her any way he wished and she would not bat an eye. It was simply too much energy to work herself into a temper over statements she knew to be false. Perhaps that was why Alexander kept coming back, because she did not react to him in the ways he expected. Guinevere’s tightening grip around her hand spoke that her friend did not have the same calm, though. Ashe did dislike it when Alexander insulted those she considered her friends. Who she chose to spend her time with was none of his concern. Her lips thinned when he insulted the younger female without a care. He could insinuate that he would be her chosen hero all he wished, but he should know by now not to prick at her ire. Ashe kept herself as calm as she was able, because she knew Guinevere was attempting to do the same. Her friend was doing quite well with the constant insults Alexander was throwing at her. Why did he have to be so rude, though? Ashe knew he was not the kindest of people, but this was simply spiteful to her. She simply kept her shoulders squared back as she looked ahead resolutely as she forced herself to remain calm. Succumbing to her own temper had never ended well for her in the past. Of course, Alexander simply had to hit Guinevere’s breaking point with insulting her hat. It was not something she had expected her friend to explode over, but she was very sensitive of her sense of style. Ashe was startled when her friend suddenly twisted her body to aim a kick at Alexander’s crotch. Emerald eyes widened before she wrapped her arm around the younger female’s waist before pulling her back. “Enough! I will not stand here and listen to you insulting my friend, Alexander! You may say whatever you wish about me, but she does not deserve your harsh words. If you wish to say something to me, then do so without involving someone else!” Her chest heaved for a moment before she quickly pushed Guinevere behind her to level a glare at her fellow squire. He was ready to move when Guinvere finally snapped, but it turned out that it was unnecessary, Ashelia dragging the girl back, causing her foot to narrowly miss Alexander's groin. That would have been troublesome if it had been hit. Still, he quickly disregarded the raging young girl. Rather, he simply focused his attention back on Ashelia. He no longer felt threatened, not that he really did to begin with, but he felt no need to prepare for the possibility of having to defend himself. Though he did make a mental note that if it was the last thing he ever did, that he would beat this Guinevere within a state of unconsciousness. That said, it did tick off Ashelia something fierce. Though her being angry didn't really have much of an effect that one would expect it to concerning Alexander Rather, instead of being guilted or cowed into submission, he couldn't help but note just how beautiful Ashe looked when she was bloody pissed. Kid had weird standards. Still, rather than apologize or anything like that, he lifted his forearms up a little, clamping his index fingers to his thumbs. "Oh good, then I won't have to get rid of her, there was something I wanted to say to you in private." Was that what the point of all of this was? Ashelia would never know. Though her pushing Guinevere did have one advantage for him. It meant that she couldn't get in the way for what he wanted to do with Ashe. Taking a step forward, he reached out and grabbed a hold of her hands, lacing his fingers with hers. He figured that the best way to do this would be to do so softly, nothing wrong with that. "I'd prefer it if you came with me, without her." Plus he sort of realized that insulting Guinevere would probably just sabotage himself. Plus he did want to talk with her, so it wouldn't hurt to at least have her alone, no one else was allowed to see or hear that stuff. tags: ashelia, guinivere notes: still a hag CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GS

you are a memory that continues to dream. Gwen must have made quite a sight as Ashelia restrained her, her foot barely missing her target and her arms and legs flailing in her desperation to hit Alexander at least once. Ashelia released her soon enough, but she pushed Gwen behind her—which was rather ironic, if she thought about it, as Gwen was supposed to be protecting her, not the other way around. She thought about trying to hit Alexander again, then decided it would be better not to, and opted to try and quell her rage instead, to banish the vibrant flush of anger from her cheeks and calm her racing heart.
She recovered after a few moments, still considerably angry but not necessarily inclined towards violence, though what she saw when she emerged from behind Ashe didn’t exactly help any. Gwen shook her head violently, her twin tails bouncing as she glared at their intertwined hands. “No,” she said vehemently, “absolutely not. I refuse to leave you alone with this creep!”
Though, she was ashamed to admit, she felt rather… ugly… after Alexander’s insults and her own subsequent outburst. Maybe if she went and changed she would feel better. But there was no way she was going to leave Ashelia alone with him. Guinevere has made a vow, and she was going to keep it! | tagged: ashe, alex notes: wow rude |

You dance like a queen, in spite of all the things you never wanted Ashe really was not trying to see red right now, because she disliked nothing more than having her friends insulted. She did not usually care about what others thought of her. Alexander? Sometimes he really knew how to get under her skin without realizing it. Years of being in his presence had allowed her to grow immune to most of his antics, but sometimes even he could push her too far. She had to take a few deep breaths to prevent herself from falling to the urge of smacking him. Patience was a quality she liked to pride herself in. Right now? It was fraying far too quickly for her liking. The most annoying thing was that Alexander did not even look repentant in the least! Of course he would like it when he riled her up, because he could rarely do so anymore. Ashe sometimes wished she could allow herself to slap him without feeling guilty about it afterwards. “Then you should have asked before escalating this into a verbal assault,” she stated through clenched teeth. If she allowed her temper to reign, then she would sending a message that Guinevere could do the same. Ashe sincerely did not wish to push her female friend to physical violence on her behalf this time. Her chest rose and fell a few more times before she resolutely stamped down on her anger. The flush of her cheeks was still there, but she managed to stop the trembling of her muscles. Keeping a straight mind around Alexander could be such a chore sometimes when he went from one extreme to the complete opposite. One moment he was acting like a complete jerk and now he was trying to be sweet and charming with her. How had she not been driven mad as of yet? Emerald eyes widened the moment he stepped forward to clasp both of her hands with his. Ashe was simply too surprised to even step away when he twined his fingers with hers. A soft sigh escaped her as she merely shook her head. Why did she have to be in the middle of this all of a sudden? Guinevere’s adamant refusal to leave her alone was not unexpected. The only way to at least discourage Alexander was to humor him for the moment, and she had no wish for her friend’s self esteem to take another blow. She would be making it clear to Alexander that he was never to insult Guinevere in her presence again. “Gwen, why don’t you head back to your dorm room to change? I promise to catch up with you in a few moments,” she suggested gently. Before Alexander would have a chance to add another insult, Ashe used their linked hands to tug him forward and away from Guinevere. The sooner he said what he wanted, then the sooner she could make it back to her friend and cheer her up. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

Well, he wouldn't argue if she was pulling him like that. Oh no, rather he would oblige and follow along without a word of complaint, or even insult. Rather, he'd end up taking the lead, tightening his grip on her hands just a little. Yes, the inside of the academy was not something he wanted to do this in. It was just too emotional. The outside had the kind of environment that he was actually looking for. There what he did, what he said would have more impact. Guinevere would just have to wait a bit. If she had to be creepy and follow or something despite Ashe telling her not to, then she could just go away, this was their moment. So he led her outside. "I've known you for a while, Ashe." He started, not letting go. Somewhere that was away from any possible spies, that was his destination. "You always wanted to play the goddess, and here you are. You even made a wonderful sail cloth." He remarked in a surprisingly gentle tone. Still, he wanted some place with a nice view of the sky. "I wanted to congratulate you." He really did mean that. He really did believe that out of all the squires, she was the one that deserved it more than anyone. But that didn't change who she was. "But no matter what, you'll always be Ashe to me." Didn't change who she was to him, anyway. Stopping, Alexander turned to face her, freeing his hands and instead placing them down near her waist, though he made no movements to try and snatch the cloth away. If she didn't want his hands there, she'd find it very easy to push them away. "I've never been good with my emotions, but I guess what I'm trying to say, Ashe..." What Ashe might not notice was that Gwaihir was coming in front behind, flying very low to make this work, Alex having sent a telepathic signal. "... Is that I just want to spend some time with you, the two of us." He smiled as Gwaihir closed in. Alex hoped that Ashelia wouldn't notice, and that his loftwing would sweep the two of them away for a ride through the sky. That was his actual intention. Whether he had planned this out or made it up as he went along, no one would ever know. tags: ashelia, guinivere notes: ARE YOU READY FOR BIRD CHASE CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GS

you are a memory that continues to dream. Gwen just huffed, then nodded. It was like Ashelia had read her mind—she really wanted to change, now. She wasn’t happy about leaving her friend alone with the creepy, stupid boy, but if Ashelia thought it was alright, then he probably wouldn’t do anything weird. Probably. So she shot another glare at Alexander, just for good measure, and extended four of her fingers. “You get four minutes,” she warned, and flounced away to her dorm.
Once there, she spent one of those four minutes working her way out of her clothing—it wasn’t a complicated outfit, really, but there was a lot of lacing and buttons and layers, and it was a little difficult to undo it all when her fingers were still trembling with barely-controlled rage. But she managed it, and promptly wasted another two minutes just standing in her smalls and staring into her open wardrobe, trying to find an outfit that wasn’t as… flashy as her usual attire. It wasn’t like Alexander had gotten to her, or anything. Nope, not at all. She just felt like shaking things up a bit, that was all. She settled on a relatively simple dress, a greenish-yellow ensemble with another non-functional corset and a longer, looser skirt. She thought about taking her hair out of its usual style, then decided that she had wasted enough time already; she donned a pair of matching slippers and went back into the hallway.
Ashelia and Alexander were nowhere to be seen. Frowning and tugging at the fasteners that held her curly hair in twin tails, she checked the surrounding area, then ventured outside. They they are. Alexander’s time was past up, and Gwen reserved the right to smack him upside his snotty little—oh, no. Absolutely not.
“Charlotte!” Guinevere screeched, rather unnecessarily, as the ill-tempered Loftwing had responded the instant she felt the human’s panic spike. Gwen had been angry, but Charlotte wasn’t surprised or concerned about that; it was the panic that made the Loftwing rush to her partner’s aid.
There was no way she was letting Alexander kidnap her friend. | tagged: ashe, alex notes: bring it on, mothaclucka D8<

You dance like a queen, in spite of all the things you never wanted Ashe could hear Guievere’s time limit, but she highly doubted Alexander would follow it. She was already being lead outside of the Academy by the shorter male. At least this would be done in privacy, right? She would rather not have rumors starting that she would be giving the Sailcloth to him simply because he liked her. What was she supposed to think? Ashe truly did not know what to expect from Alexander for the first time in quite awhile. She merely followed after him quietly as she did not attempt to take her hands back from his grasp. Her heart was beginning to pick up in pace as she felt a slight anxiety rush through her veins. Most of the time she could act composed and slightly indifferent to whatever Alexander had in mind for her. She simply took a deep breath to calm herself and see what he had to say. What else could she do? Emerald eyes blinked at the younger male owlishly as he began to speak. Yes, they had known each other for a few years now. Ashe considered Alexander a good friend to have, and she enjoyed his company when he was not acting like a jerk to her other friends. It seemed only she could see some of his kinder tendencies when he felt like showing them. Despite her annoyance with him, she smiled slightly at his words. It was warming to know that he enjoyed the fact that she was given the Goddess role for her sake. Ashe had been dreaming about such a thing for as long as she could remember. “Thank you,” she replied gently. It was nice to know that he stilled viewed her as simply herself even after the new attentions she had been receiving. Once the festival was over, she knew the squires seeking her favor would go back to forgetting about their presence as they had before. Soon enough Alexander stopped and Ashe merely stood there as he found what spot he wished to speak to her in. They were outside with quite a view of the sky above them. Her teeth sank into her bottom lip for a moment, hoping she was not reading too much into this gesture. Her hands were soon freed, but Alexander had taken to resting his hand above her waist now. Ashe was not sure if she was enjoying the slightly intimate contact, and she had to keep herself back from gently pushing his hands away. Her pale cheeks were coloring just a little at his low tone. Emerald eyes widened the moment he spoke his true request and it seemed like anyone could hear the pin dropping for miles. Spending time with her? That was why he had harassed Guinevere, followed them, and had then dragged her away? Before she could even give a reply, Ashe felt her legs being swept from the ground beneath her. A startled yelp escaped her as she gripped Gwaihir’s feathers as securely as she could. Had this been a set up the entire time? Her expression was certainly a displeased one as she glared at Alexander. Only Guinevere’s sudden screech for her Loftwing had her realizing how things could get worse. “I am going to kill you, Alexander Sorel,” she hissed in sheer annoyance. Without further preamble, she pressed her desire for her own Loftwing through the mental connection. Soon enough, a blur of blue could be seen flying through the skies towards the trio. "Mm, I think if you carried that threat through, you'd join me a week later out of absolute boredom." If there was anything he knew about himself. It was that he could at least keep things spiced up. Oh yes, he was sure that if nothing else, Ashelia's life would be a bit more dull without him. Still, he noticed her clinging on, so he simply wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close, she needed to relax. "Don't misunderstand me though, I meant every word I said." He remarked. "I genuinely am glad you're getting to live your dream of being the goddess. You worked hard for it, you earned it."Even as a friend, he was just glad that she was happy. Sure, he'd like the sail cloth, but he had no intention of taking it... to keep it. If he had snatched it he'd have given it back pretty quickly. Still, the position did have him slightly worried, for a hilariously odd reason, coming from him. "Just don't forget about me when you have your horde of fanboys kissing the ground you walk on, alright?" Part of him didn't like it that she suddenly had a bunch of admirers. He was there first, dammit! "I am however, going to be your hero. Not just because we know each other, but because I'm the best squire here." ... But he wouldn't cheat to beat them. No he'd just be better, like he always was. Looking behind him, he noticed both Caedmon and Guinevere on his tail. Ah, so Ashe was trying to escape? His hold didn't tighten. He doubted she'd want to hop off soon. "There is a lot that Master Alistair has taught me that I've never shown. Even at the tournament I was screwing around more than fighting." He never even got a chance to use his sword, sadly. That was the one area where he knew he'd really wreck his competition. But what Alistair had taught him was not limited to the ground. "He even taught me a few simple tricks, like so." And with that, Gwaihir dived down and into the clouds, disappearing from view. He figured that Caedmon might be able to continue following, simply by tracking Ashelia, but he was confident he'd lose Guinevere! tags: ashelia, guinivere notes: alex is best friend CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GS

you are a memory that continues to dream. Livid was not an intense enough word to describe Guinevere’s ire. Volcanic rage was more apt, if one were inclined towards the melodramatic, which Gwen certainly was—but she was too focused on rescuing Ashelia from the claws of that wretched boy to think about phrases that accurately described her emotions. Her expression was fierce, her distress twisting her features into something almost unrecognizable; her normally sweet, soft expression was gone. Ironically enough, she looked almost like a hag.
She bit back a swear as Gwaihir dove into the clouds below them. Charlotte followed automatically, immersing them in the thick mist and continuing along the general trajectory of their previous route. It didn’t take long for Gwen’s thin dress to become uncomfortably damp and clingy, and the loose curls of her unfastened hair were flattening and tangling from the wet and the wind. She couldn’t see a thing—she certainly wasn’t going to catch up with them like this. She would have to emerge, and hope that they did the same.
Charlotte flew back up and skimmed along the tops of the clouds. Guinevere wiped her damp bangs out of her eyes, for once not caring a whit for how she looked; she just wanted Ashelia back. She kept her eyes peeled, and hoped for the best. | tagged: ashe, alex notes: gwen is bestest friend :V |

You dance like a queen, in spite of all the things you never wanted Ashe was quite sure she would enjoy the peace and quiet if she shoved Alexander off of Gwaihir. The words were on the tip of her tongue to say before he wound his arm around her waist and pulled her back against him. Her cheeks flushed even more as she felt annoyance rush through her veins. She had stumbled into a few compromising positions with him over years, but they had always been on accident. This? This was quickly making her blood boil, and certainly not in a good way. His actions were in complete odds with his words, which was enough of a headache without being forced onto his Loftwing without her consent. Goddess, all she wanted was some peace and quiet. Apparently, it was too much to ask as she was being fought over between Guinevere and Alexander like a chew toy. Even her patience was beginning to fray the longer she was kept up here. “I am grateful for your words, Alexander. Your friendship means a lot to me, but holding me up here against my will is giving me the strong desire to slap you,” Ashe replied quite calmly. Strange, since her fingers were twitching to make good on her thread. As well as the insinuation that he would be the one walking off with the Sailcloth. He was a skilled squire, but she was taking the time to decide on who. Now all she had to do was pry his hands from her waist so she would be able to drop off of Gwaihir. At times she questioned her sanity on having friends like Guinevere and Alexander. The latter while kidnapping her while the former was giving chase like a madwoman. A small sigh escaped her as she formed a slightly idiotic plan on her part. Hopefully it would distract the younger boy well enough so she could escape. Soon enough, Alexander was demonstrating what skills he had learned from the Headmaster. An impressive move she would have admired, but she was too annoyed to care. The strength of her current emotions made it easy for Caedmon to dip down and follow them after a moment of searching. Ashe twisted as best as she could in Alexander’s hold as her hands came to rest over his lightly. Her lips were quirked into a mischievous smile as she stared at him. “I have learned a few things from my own Knight, too. To always use whatever is within my power as a distraction to gain the better hand,” she replied gently as she leaned close. Emerald eyes glittered brightly as her breath gently ghosted against his lips. Ashe allowed her eyes to become half lidded as she stayed in that position for a moment longer. Her hands suddenly tightened over his own before she wrenched his arms from her waist. Without waiting another moment, Ashe cast herself from the crimson Loftwing as the air rushed past her. She merely enjoyed the freefall before azure feathers filled her vision. Ashe landed a little roughly on Caedmon, but she soon regained her grip as she righted herself. Now to find Guinevere before she really worked herself into a rage. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

Saying that you were taught distractions right before you set out to do what you did was really a bad way to actually distract someone. That said, Ashelia leaning in so close, eyes half closed. Well, to say it was something that he had been wanting for a while was quite the understatement. And it would've had the desired effect if she had kept from stating beforehand. Instead of falling for it so easily, his face hardened and he sort of deadpanned, not even bothering to react as she pulled away and jumped off of Gwaihir. "Not sure I deserved that." He murmured, scratching his chin just a little at what had just transpired. He was more confused than anything. On one hand she clearly knew of his affections for her, so that was one thing. On the other, she clearly did not take said affections seriously. That was another. Granted, he'd admit that blabbing aside, her idea was pretty clever. Part of him wondered if he should be offended by the fact his feelings for her meant so little to her in the long run, or congratulate her on how ruthlessly clever it was. Then again the latter might seem a bit backhanded... Eh, he'd settle for a middle ground; slightly hurt but ultimately proud that she had it in her to exploit people when necessary. No need to say anything. Ah well, maybe he'd just stay in the clouds for a bit. After all, she was just going to... yeah maybe he should go back. Just to keep Guinevere from doing anything stupid. Okay maybe it also had a little to do with the fact he maaaybe felt just a little bit used. Bursting out of the clouds, he flew towards Guinevere, easily finding her due to noticing her skimming on top of the clouds. However, instead of colliding with her, he just sped on by. He had no intention of crashing right into her, but to instead just agitate her. Make her follow. And maybe vent a little, so he just shouted one line as he passed right on by. you are a memory that continues to dream. Gwen, who was continually scanning the clouds ahead, occasionally glancing behind, made a frustrated noise and asked Charlotte to slow down so she could take a proper look around. Alexander had a lead on her even before he dove into the clouds; he and Ashelia could already be gone by now. Still, she would keep looking. She wasn’t one to give up, especially not when she was this focused.
Then Alexander flew right by her, shouting something that made Guinevere see red and urge Charlotte to go faster, to catch up with that infuriating boy and hit him so hard he got permanent brain damage. She didn’t even realize that Ashelia wasn’t with him.
“My mother is dead!” she shrieked, her knuckles turning white as she clutched Charlotte’s feathers in a death-grip. Her anger was so great that she didn’t even have room to be distressed or saddened by the sudden memories Alexander evoked; she just wanted to hit him. This was her new goal in life. She could die happy if she just hit him in the head. Or gave him a black eye. Or broke his arm in seven different places.
Charlotte quickly caught up with Gwaihir, trailing to the side and just behind the crimson Loftwing. Close enough for Gwen to do something incredibly stupid and reckless. She scrambled into a crouch on Charlotte’s back, and before she had the opportunity to chicken out or lose her balance, she leapt off her Loftwing’s back, aiming to land right behind Alexander so she could—smack him. Right upside the head. | tagged: ashe, alex notes: ashe should be meaner D8< |

You dance like a queen, in spite of all the things you never wanted Now she had to seek out Guinevere from within this mass of clouds. Ashe took a moment to settle herself on Caedmon, running her hands over his plumage gently. She could tell how agitated her Loftwing was towards the other two squires. Honestly, she could not blame Caedmon at all for feeling that way. She was quite ready to bash their heads together and call them both idiots for acting this way. Being in the middle of their little feud was quite tiring, and she had not expected the two of them to act so harshly towards one another. It made her wish she had become a Knight already, since she would have been able to discipline them both. Sadly, she would have to settle for being the referee. Was such a thing even possibly? First she had to find Guinevere before Alexander decided to make her his target once again. Ashe directed her Loftwing upward to glide over the clouds. Emerald eyes zoned in on Guinevere, but she also caught sight of Alexander gliding past her. He must have said some sort of insult, since it sent an enraged Guinevere soaring after him on Charlotte. Ashe felt the familiar anger blossom in her as she bent low and guided Caedmon to fly after them. She knew how her friend became after being insulted, and she would do something completely reckless and foolhardy as a result. If she had her staff with her, then she would have hit Alexander in the back of the head with it! “Hurry, hurry,” she murmured. Charlotte was catching up with Gwaihir quite quickly, and she had to get in the middle of the two somehow! Ashe saw that her friend had flown behind Alexander and was maneuvering herself into a crouch to pounce on the idiotic male. Were they both idiots? Ashe had Caedmon swerve around the two of them before her Loftwing shot forward. Just as Guinevere leapt forward to land of Gwaihir, she was instead caught by an irate Ashe. The impact nearly sent her careening off of her own Loftwing. Her heart skipped a few beats before she managed to keep herself righted on Caedmon with a squirming Guinevere in her lap. “Enough! I am thoroughly disgusted with both of you! I am dropping you off, and I want neither of you to bother me for the rest of the day!” she shouted. Her chest rose and fell as she shot an infuriated glare at Alexander before turning Caedmon back towards Skyloft. She was done babysitting the two of them for today! Oh yes. This was going to be fun. Guinevere was now perfectly angry, and she was coming after him. Well, apparently he had gotten it wrong though, her mother was dead. Oh well! Nothing that could be done about that. Instead, he noticed her coming up behind him, trying to get a little to the side. Or was it to his side and trying to get a little behind him. Oh well, he looked at her, noticing that she was crouching. She was going to jump? Excellent! He got ready as he was going to trip her up. How? By doing a barrel roll at the last second of course! She wouldn't really die from the fall, that featherbrain of hers would save her at the last second. However, when she finally jumped at him, blue blinded him for a moment as Caedmon flew to the rescue to save Guinevere from a well deserved ass kicking. He was kind of sad at that. But still, getting to see Ashelia angry was a rare sight, and watching her chest rise and fall, well, Alex couldn't help but find her beautiful regardless. In fact, he wasn't even bothered by her speech. Rather, he immediately flew after the woman, catching up in very little time. It was surprising how fast Gwaihir could be at times. Still, within moments, he was flying right beside her. "Alright, see you tomorrow, Ashelia!" Every time she was fine just a while later, this time would be no different. Though maybe he would get her back for playing on his emotions a little. "And thanks for the kiss~" He shouted, making sure Gwen heard it to induce something awkward. Granted, he still had the last word required for Guinevere, and then he would be on his way. "Oh and Guinevere!" He shouted to get her attention. "You will always remember this as the day that you almost caught Alexander Sorel!" He stated with the biggest grin plastered on his face before he dove down, back into the clouds. Part of him hoped she jumped off of Caedmon and came after him just to try and prove him wrong or something. He'd love to see how her actually going through the clouds would work. Not that it'd matter. Either Ashelia would prevent her, or something else would happen. Still, fun day, at least for him. tags: ashelia, guinivere notes: this is ashe's every day life from now on CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GS

you are a memory that continues to dream. She could not contain a cry of triumph as she landed on the Loftwing—she did not realize at first that she had landed on the wrong Loftwing. Gwen lifted her hand to hit the person sitting near her, then abruptly realized that it was not a short, horrendous boy she was about to strike—it was her friend, and the feathers beneath her were a vibrant blue, not crimson. She squirmed and struggled against Ashelia’s grip, but she did not protest too violently—she had no wish to hurt her friend.
“Ashelia, you do not understand, he—” Gwen began to argue with her fellow squire, but Ashe’s sudden tirade shut her up rather quickly; she even stopped trying to wriggle out of Ashe’s grasp. Her cheeks flushed with shame. Charlotte cawed, snapped her beak in Alex’s direction, and took off towards Skyloft, assured that Gwen would not be pulling any more moronic stunts.
She shot a sharp glare at Alexander for his final comments, then lifted her gaze to Ashe. Gwen knew that her friend would not kiss the boy voluntarily; the only viable conclusion was that he forced or coerced her. Her lips pressed into a thin line. She did not want to risk drawing out Ashe’s ire, but she also needed to know if Alexander required a proper beatdown. “Did he force you to do anything?” she demanded, clutching Ashe’s shoulders. Not for support; she felt perfectly safe. She was just cold from the wind rushing past them, chilling her damp skin. Her arms were trembling.

You dance like a queen, in spite of all the things you never wanted Ashe wished for nothing more than to push Alexander off of Gwaihir. His hard head would prevent him from dying should he land on the surface. She merely kept her gaze straight forward and ignored everything he said. It was much easier that way than to acknowledge his presence. His words were untrue in every sense of the word, but it had been one last blow to rile the both of them up. She did not even give the boy a passing glance as he sped forward on his Loftwing. At least Guinevere had stopped squirming in her lap, which would prevent them both from falling off of Caedmon. Her Loftwing was not pleased with his extra cargo at all, but he simply flew forward as his mistress wished. Ashe simply felt too much anger to properly voice her thoughts without yelling at the younger girl once again. Her gaze lowered to meet Guinevere’s and her expression softened just a little. She knew her friend was only concerned for her wellbeing, but she could have killed herself or injured herself with that stunt. A soft sigh escaped her lips at the question. As if Alexander could ever force her to do anything. He only wished he could get such an action from her willingly. Goddess, se would never hear the end of it and it would be told all over Skyloft before the week was over. “No, he did not force me. I did not even kiss him. I merely pretended to almost do so as a distraction to free myself,” she reassured gently. Her one warm was firmly gripped onto Caedmon’s plumage, but she wound her other arm around Guinevere in a light hug. Her hands on her shoulder made the gesture easy enough. “Relax, we will be home soon enough and we can spend the rest of the day in our dorms. No boys, nor arguing, or anything else to upset us, hm?”CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

you are a memory that continues to dream. She relaxed considerably after Ashe's gentle assurances that Alexander had not done anything inappropriate. Nothing more inappropriate than interrupting a perfectly lovely late morning, insulting Gwen, and kidnapping her dearest friend, anyway. The younger squire sighed and buried her face into the crook of Ashe's neck.
"I am sorry, Ashelia," she sighed. "That... got out of control." She did feel partially responsible--she should've kept her head. She wasn't thinking and lost her temper, and if she hadn't reacted so vehemently to Alexander's taunting, maybe he wouldn't have... but no, that was ridiculous. Alexander was a jerk, and that was that. Nothing she could do about it. She was not the one to blame, here.
She lifted her head at Ashe's suggestion, brightening. "Yes, that sounds wonderful," she said, and smiled. "You can try on those dresses I told you about~!"
