ADEMY The Vanishing Academy The Academy was created out of need: need for safety, need for structure, and need for Elemental instruction. Those who had no power over the Elements were threatened by those who could. Our ancestors were mistaken for gods and demons, and were the target of human violence for centuries. When the Vanishing Academy was first created, it accepted people of any age. Now, with years of practice blending in, our people have integrated back into society. Still, some choose to send their children to the Academy so that they can learn to control and disguise their elemental powers. At the Academy, you can hone your powers and pick up new ones. Though most students specialize in just one Element, they can still learn powers in the other Elements--they just won't be as strong. Current Plot As of now: Our world is peaceful, though things have begun to stir around the fringes. Homeless people have begun to go missing and though the Elemental Elders have noticed, there are more important things on their plate--at least, that's how see it. In reality, something strange is happening. Though no one knows what just yet, there is a feeling in the air... The feeling that something bad is going to happen.
