Have you ever had a dream?
Baako stood before a mass of trees with the sun on his back, its warm light piercing through the cold fog effectively ending its reign over land. Most were already awake, this was a farming community after all and it was nothing for the occupants to beat the sun raise but none were eager to go where Baako now stood. It was the road out of Ordona, and in many minds the path into hell. A place where monsters lurked, waiting to kill those foolish enough to invade their land, but to the teen it was the only way out of a dead end town with nothing to offer anyone with boiling blood like him.
Like most kids he'd heard the tales of war and adventure, powerful swords to smite evil and hidden treasures that could fulfill the wishes of any man. His childhood was filled with dreams and imagination, trying with all his might to leave the fields of the farm behind as he imagined endless caves to explore, fighting with gruesome creatures that dwell in nightmares of even the mightiest heros, and earning fame to make him a living legend. His mother always that the real world was nothing like his dreams, that even the mightiest of fighters died when pitted against the monsters and the unknown, but no matter how many warnings she gave there was nothing said that could diminish Baako's spirit.
Now here he stood, a place his mind had traveled to countless times matched only by the amount of times he gazed at its boarders. Inside he was excited, his legs shaking from the energy, but somewhere in the reaches of his consciousness there was a question poking at him; Why does this feel familiar?
Maybe it was because he imagined this so many times but walking down the road, away from his home and family was bringing up a feeling of nostalgia, as if this road was traveled before. But that was impossible. Now he walked the country side with a wide smile and his belongings strapped on his back, this is freedom!! I'm finally leaving it all behind, and now there is nothing but new sights on my horizon.

I GOT THIS FEELING ON A SUMMERS DAY ► To be honest nature wasn't really something that Tala had ever really any affection for. You'd think a girl who was stuck inside all the time would find nature completely fascinating, which is true. Up until they actually go in, it was actually quite annoying. She hated bugs and sometimes animals were scary or obnoxious. Today they were just obnoxious. Tala stared angerly up as a monkey danced around with her broom that she stole out from right under her nose, that jerk! Tala was desperately grabbing onto different branches, trying to get her grip just to fall right back down again. Honestly it was a funny sight if it weren't how sad that she couldn't climb the tree. It was obvious that she wasn't to used to nature or any of this. Tala had come to just take a simple look around, but apparently she wasn't aloud to have nice things, because the second she landed this asshole comes along and takes her shit! She would forever remember this, and that monkies were obnoxious and rude and crule and gaaah. That jerk would get what he had coming to him that was for sure! (Sorry but I gotta run so I kinda cut it a little short)

Back when Baako dreamed of setting out for the road he always imagined that traveling would be fun. Something much like the trips to town, he thought his mind would race ahead of his body until something of interest came into sight, a bunch of monsters or an overturned cart. Maybe a fairy zooming somewhere in a hurry, anything to signal the start of something to write home about. Instead Baako was faced with the cruelty of reality, and that was the undeniable fact of life so far:traveling was boring.
He had no horse drawn carriage or merry band of allies, no urgent task that needed the utmost hast to spur him along. The only silver lining was that Baako was a farmer's child, and as such he was used to spending huge amounts of time doing drool tedious work on his feet, so by now they were firm enough to not pain him from just a few hours of walking. Actually, now that his mind wan't occupied by the position of the sun in which he stared into like a dolt, he could remember that this was by far much better than work. Yea this road sucked and there was hardly anyone doing anything no it, but at least he was actually here, going somewhere beyond the fence post that marked the limits of his progress, 'I'm finally off the leash, that should be enough for now.'
With renewed spirit, Baako rounded a bend in the road and stepped right into something interesting on the road. Given the circumstances laughing, no matter how humorlessly should not have been his first reaction, but something about getting your hopes up only to step in dung was so ominous that all he could do was laugh. Avoiding another spectacular step, Baako went over into the grass to wipe his boots off, doing his best to get it onto the tree and not further into his shoe. It was during this whole process, which by the way was harder than it looked, that he head someone descend unpleasantly to the ground.
Across the road and up a ways Baako saw someone, a girl, at least he thought it was a girl because did not think that a boy would be seen dead in such a state, was picking herself off the ground while looking it at a tree. Poo forgotten, Baako made his way over, curious to see what such a strangely dressed girl was doing in such a mundane place.
"Not much of a climber eh?" A simple observation but he couldn't help the small bit of mirth from seeping into his words.

I GOT THIS FEELING ON A SUMMERS DAY ► Sorry it took forever | @baako |
Placing both of her hands on her back and looking up at the tree, her breaths came in and out, obviously she was exhausted and a little beat up. She didn't even hear the young boy walking up to her. Which, made her jump when he started laughing at her. Turning to the noise she glared at him. To make it worse it was a child, and she never really had good relationships with children. She always considered them rude, just as this one was being. " No, I've never really done it before. I'm not exactly from here." She spoke sighing. " Plus, it's not exactly an easy tree to climb." That was a complete lie, the tree had low branches that anyone could grab at long as they weren't incredibly short. " I bet even someone with experience couldn't climb this one." She said with a nod, obviously challenging the kid. In all honesty, she really knew it was an easy climb, she mostly just wanted someone to go get her broom. Even if it was kind of a mean way to go about it, the kid deserved it. He had laughed instead of offering help. Still, she looked back up at the monkey who had now grown bored and was sitting picking something out of his fur, and the broomstick was set there right beside him. Ugh, children and monkeys. Today sucked.

The situation just got that much stranger as cocked his head to see just what was so interesting about a run of the mill tree. High near the top, among the budding leaves and insects, sat a monkey with a broom. Monkeys weren't uncommon, he'd seen his share and normally they played around or stole some food, but seeing one with a broom was a little more than he could handle. He laughed. Not in a mean way, at least he didn't think it was mean, but it was pretty funny. A monkey with a broom, probably swiped from the girl if her frustration was any indication, just struck his as funny.
Once the fit of laughter died down, and his lungs were replenished with air, Baako sat down his pack and started to climb. "Don't worry, lots of people can't climb trees, but once you fall out of them three or four times you get the hang of it." The monkey, who didn't seem to care that he was being approached continued to pick at his fur...that is until Baako got about halfway. While Baako was agile for his age, he was not a wild animal, so when the monkey came blasting by, nearly knocking him down, he screamed in alarm before wrapping his arms and legs around the branch he was on, "H-hey!! Make sure it don't get my pack!!!"
Indeed the furry creature was fumbling around his pack, the broom forgotten in the tree since apparently it no longer peaked his interest.

I GOT THIS FEELING ON A SUMMERS DAY ► To be honest, Tala was glad that he wasn't a jerk about it at least, and seemed to understand that everyone had to start somewhere. That was more then she could say for most people she knew at least. Watching as the kid climbed the tree with no effort, Tala placed her hands on her hips in satisfaction that her plan had started to work. Up until, the Monkey came charging past him, and was soon next to her inside of the boys pouch before she had time to react. Pulling out her staff she quickly swatted at the monkey, trying to get it to run off. But it doged her better the most monsters could. Until she finally just kicked it away. The monkey gave her a sassy look, then ran off. And she once again placed her hands on her hips. " Stupid thing." She said. Before bending down and picking up all the scattered belongings and putting them back into the pouch. " Uh.. I think that's everything you might want to double check though" she said looking back at up at Baako. " If you don't mind grabbing my broom though, that might be nice." (If you want maybe the monkey took something and we make a quest out of it?)

[OOC: That sounds like a plan! Catch that Monkey Quest!]
Baako couldn't really see what was going on down below, the leaves were blocking his sight but from the commotion of movement and screeches he could guess that the girl was at least trying to defend his pack. She appeared again, confirming that the little rascal was gone, "Thanks for that. Won't take much longer." With confidence to spare he nimbly ascended the rest of the way to grab the wooden cleaning tool. Now that he thought about it, why was a girl walking around with a broom anyway? It wasn't like there was much to clean on the road......then again, he did just step in horse droppings so maybe there was.
The layout of the tree was so easy that he was already down to the last branch without a thought, "Here ya go miss." He passed her the broom before falling back onto the ground and looking over his pack. Aside from the obvious ruffling of his possessions everything looked to be in order, ' Cloths, money, food, bottle, swor---' Uh-oh. Baako began shuffle through his pack, there wasn't many places something like that could fall. "Oh no...oh no no no no no no noooooooo dang it!!" To his everlasting dismay, the wooden sword he called his own was gone, stolen by the thief of a monkey.
"That blasted monkey!! It stole my sword, and now i've got no may to defend myself." His mind was whirling, without that simple but useful wooden blade his journey would have to stall until he could work to buy a new one, something that could take a while since he'd have to backtrack home.....unless, "Hey you'll help me get it back right?!" he was looking at the girl now, hope and excitement in his voice as he stared at her with what was no doubt an uncomfortable intensity, "It couldn't have gone too far, probably just up another tree, right?" He really wasn't that great with personal space.

I GOT THIS FEELING ON A SUMMERS DAY ► He's so super cute aw | @baako |
As soon as she got the chance she grabbed the broom right out of his hands, almost rudely. But, it did not come without about one hundred " Thank you!"s going on over and over, and a little twirl, happy to have finally grabbed her broom back. Smiling at it, and now that her butt was saved there was no way that Naomi would be mad at her~ In fact she wouldn't even know. Then she heard the kids distressed chatter. She looked at him, and he rambled on about his sword. " Oh man, that sucks. I'm sorry" She said clinging tightly to her broom. Hoping he didn't ask for help, the last thing she wanted was to spend another minuet here. But sure enough, he got this look in his eyes and looked at her, a little to close asking for help. Her automatic reaction was to think of an excuse, and even started with a " Uh.. well.." But as she twirled the broom in her hands she knew she didn't have a choice as she owed the kid. " I guess I could help out." She commented, defeated.
