TAKE THE WHEEL True to his word, he was here the very next day, bug nets in hand. They weren't that hard to get a hold of and they weren't exactly expensive either. Nevertheless, he had a feeling that they would be making some decent cash from this venture. He had taken the rest of the day yesterday in order to find the locations of people who would be interested. Of course, there was someone in Skyloft that he knew about, but that was just asking for trouble. Not only was he a wanted man, but he doubted they'd take too kindly to him bringing Seyka along to Skyloft. Outsiders and all that. Though he was kind of surprised they hadn't come after him yet.
Still, holding the two bug nets in his hands, he twirled them for a bit, obviously bored and obviously waiting for the other participant to show up. Whether she did or not was of no concern to him, as if she did, it meant this would go by quicker. If she didn't, then it meant that he had more profit to himself at the end of the day. He just needed to keep track of the rules; he had to get pairs. If he found one gold bug, it was better to try and find another bug of the opposite gender. He had no idea why bug breeding was a thing for some people, but it got him money, and he figured that was all there was to it.
For now, he just sort of wandered amongst the fields, obviously quite bored. It wouldn't be too much longer and he'd be going on without her. It'd be nice to have a companion sure, and it'd make things go by, and she did seem like a nice girl. However, he didn't really know her well enough to wait the day away before beginning. If she wanted part of this, then she better hurry and show herself before he got too impatient.

Seyka was a woman who honored her word. If it was in her capability of doing something then she'd do her very best to uphold what she says she'll do. In this case, she gave her word that she would go bug hunting with a strange man with a very strange name. By agreeing to do, the blonde woman had forsaken every single thing her parents raised her to go against. One, this was a complete stranger – and obviously one who emitted high levels of stranger danger. Two, he was rude, and probably one of the most unpleasant people she'd had the first impression on. Kind of hard to get over that. But she reasoned it couldn't be so bad to go through a day hunting sparkling, golden bugs. They were so cool! So at the same location where she last saw the blonde, she arrived at the scene, taking a look around. Not long did it take her oceanic eyes to pull towards Night. In his hands were two bug nuts for their upcoming hunt. But that wasn't what she was really looking for. “Can I have my ribbon back?” she asked. tag: Nightmare Darklightnotes: Wooosh~ MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ

TAKE THE WHEEL Waiting, waiting, waiting. He could catch a couple glints of golden bugs here and there. The urge to just go and grab them was strong, but he'd at least wait a little bit longer for the girl to get here. He wondered if she wouldn't show up for multiple reasons. Maybe he'd scared her too much or maybe she just wanted to get him off her back. Though on the flipside, he had her ribbon. He wasn't sure why he took it, now that he thought about it. But if nothing else, maybe it would ensure that she would show up. Her reaction did imply that it wasn't replaceable, so he'd wait just a little bit longer.
So when Seyka finally arrived, part of him was happy to see her, only to receive the greeting that he did. Whirling around with blinding speed, Nightmare quickly swung the net, bringing it down on Seyka as it covered a good part of her upper body. He kept it that way, not once breaking his half-lidded, bored gaze as he stared right into her eyes. Finally, after a few seconds, he blinked. "Sorry, I thought you were a bug." He remarked, letting her take the comment whichever way she so desired. He had figured that it might be best to just let her work the details out herself.
What a rude way for her to say hello. She could have at least said please! Common courtesy, really. Pulling the net off the Hylian girl, he reached into his shirt and pulled out the ribbon. He hadn't forgotten this little thing, and sure enough he tossed it towards her. "Still, that's quite a rude way to say hello, you know. Not even a 'please'." He spun the net he had caught her with in his hand before tossing the handle to the Hylian girl. "What we want is golden bugs and if possible, try and get a matching bug of the opposite gender; they pay more for that, for some reason."

What the heck?! She blinked a couple of times staring in disbelief at the figure seen through the bug net. Is he secretly trying to devise a plot to bring about her downfall? What in the world did she do that would entice the wrath of the eater of babies? She gritted her teeth grabbing the handle to take the stupid net off of her form. And so the pot called the kettle black. “This is coming from the man who finds scaring the crap out of travelers on the road entertaining.” Jerk. She huffed petulantly tucking the bug net under her arm so she could tie her hair back up in a ponytail with the black ribbon. “Thank you for returning my ribbon back.”Golden bugs in pairs? Interesting notion. “I can understand that in a way,” she spoke up. She was still annoyed by him, but that didn't mean she'd be hissy-pissy throughout this hunt. “It's normal nature to have a desire for companionship. There's like... a novelty towards pairings.” She raised her free hand out to gesture Night to lead the way. tag: Nightmare Darklightnotes: Yes. Stranger danger. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ

TAKE THE WHEEL Nightmare's eyes shifted back and forth as Seyka began to complain about his method of greeting. He could tell she was accusing him of being a hypocrite, and his response was only to focus his gaze on her for a moment before remarking "... Do you not?" Really, he never said she couldn't do the same thing back to him or to anyone else. It was only by her own decision not to that kept her from going around scaring people. Whether she was good at it though might be another story. Still, at least she was nice enough to say thank you for getting her ribbon back. Courtesy was a good thing.
But it was a good thing that she picked up that the pairs were a good way to make money. That meant that it'd be easier for them to work together at least to get the right bugs. Of course, that didn't mean that he couldn't enjoy himself a bit at her expensive. "Ohhhh I get it." He answered, taking the lead as she suggested, strolling over to find some of the golden bugs that he had noticed earlier. Taking note of a couple, he took a swipe at them with his net. While most of them got away, he could clearly see that he had managed to snag what appeared to be a golden butterfly. He just had no idea if it was male or female.
Turning back to look at Seyka, he continued his train of thought, pointing a finger at her while grinning. "You're a shipper!" He accused. Oh yes, he was very aware of the phenomenon. It had apparently been a thing in Skyloft. People would prefer certain romantic match ups, and they called it shipping. He let out a laugh before turning back to go after some more bugs. "You'll have to use your mighty shipping powers to tell me which one is which." He snickered, swinging his net at another insect to try and get it. More bugs meant more rupees.
