[/div] The world is inhabited by many, many different races. While three are the most common, there are outcrops of many other races as well, and some of them might be a bit more influential than others. There are however, some races that exist, but are so rare, that the ones currently in the accepted database are the only known ones in the world. This is a list of all of the playable races.
Also, take note, as this will come up later.
- You can start with a Common right off the bat. - 50 posts is needed to play an Uncommon. - 100 posts is needed to play a Rare.
This works across all accounts. This means if you have 3 accounts, one with 50 posts, one with 30 posts, and one with 20 posts, you can make a Rare character.[/div][/ul][/div][/blockquote] --------------------------------- [/div] The common races are exactly what they imply; the most common races in the world. There are more of these people than anyone else in the world. They have simply proven to be the most adaptable. As they are the most common races, they do not require a post count to create, and as such, are available from the very start.
BEORC While they are technically called Beorc, it is much more common to hear the term "human" to describe these people. Beorc, or humans are the most populated race in the world. Their influence can be seen literally anywhere you go. Whether it be in Hyrule, Ylisse, or the sea, Beorc will almost always have a place there. More often than not, they are usually the dominant population as well, with the Kingdom of Hyrule being perhaps the lone exception to this, and even then only due to the fact that Hyrule has a reputation for its xenophobia. Beorc are also known for being extremely tech savvy. They are the leaders in the world of technology, and why it's not too uncommon to see a human wandering around with a primitive firearm or a nifty gadget. Where the Hylians have relied on their magic and the Gerudo on their skill, the Humans have moved forward with technology. They are also known for their absolute durability and adaptability. Not only can a Beorc pretty much adapt to any environment with little trouble, they are known for their often ridiculous amount of determination, absolutely unwilling to stay down or defeated. They are often called cockroaches by Hylians as an insult and as a sign of respect, and the only race the Gerudo consider an equal. As Beorc are well, humans, no examples for face claims are necessary. RACIAL ABILITIES Mighty Wind - Beorc have the uncanny ability to just absolutely refuse to die. If hit with something lethal, some beorc just seem to completely shrug it off and get right back up as if they were never struck to begin with. It's merely a temporary solution, and it only works once a thread, but humanity's sheer tenacity is truly something to be admired. Level 0 - The beorc stays down when they go down. Level 1 - If the beorc is reduced to 0 hearts, regain consciousness with only remaining. Level 2 - If the beorc is reduced to 0 hearts, regain consciousness with only remaining. Level 3 - If the beorc is reduced to 0 hearts, regain consciousness with only remaining. Level 4 - If the beorc is reduced to 0 hearts, regain consciousness with only remaining. If the beorc has less than five hearts, regain up only to the beorc's maximum. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the number of hearts with the above depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any.Mighty Wind - If the Beorc is reduced to 0 hearts, regain consciousness immediately, this only works once a thread. MP: Passive. Hearts Restored: Adrenaline Rush - There is a fun fact about the human body that most other races are quick to downplay; unlike most races, Beorcs are constantly being subconsciously limited by their own brain. This is because a Beorc's maximum output is actually completely off the chart for their body, but if such abilities were to be utilized freely, it could cause damage, possibly permanent, thus the limiter. However, if a beorc is threatened, the brain may unlock these limits and allow a beorc to show what they can truly do. Level 0 - The beorc cannot free themselves. Level 1 - If a beorc is reduced to 1/10 (or 10%) of their total heart count their physical attack power is doubled so long as they are within that heart range. Level 2 - If a beorc is reduced to 1/5 (or 20%) of their total heart count their physical attack power is doubled so long as they are within that heart range. Level 3 - If a beorc is reduced to 1/4 (or 25%) of their total heart count their physical attack power is doubled so long as they are within that heart range. Level 4 - If a beorc is reduced to 1/3 (or 33%) of their total heart count their physical attack power is doubled so long as they are within that heart range. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the range of hearts needed with the above depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any.Adrenaline Rush - If the beorc's heart count is reduced to a certain range, double physical attack power until healed or knocked unconscious. MP: Passive. Effect: Double Damage Heart count required: 1/10 or 10% Heart Count. Tech Mastery - Beorc are bar none, the most technologically advanced race in the world. At least when it comes to races that are still around. They have the best technology, the best medicine, the most advanced science. Where the Hylians have held onto magic, and the Gerudo have held onto training, the Beorc have decided to focus on technological advancement, giving them a certain type of edge over the other races. Level 0 - No tech bonuses. Level 1 - If a beorc uses something that could be considered technologically advanced for Hyrule (such as an arquebus), they do an extra of damage with that weapon. Level 2 - If a beorc uses something that could be considered technologically advanced for Hyrule (such as an arquebus), they do an extra of damage with that weapon. Level 3 - If a beorc uses something that could be considered technologically advanced for Hyrule (such as an arquebus), they do an extra of damage with that weapon. Level 4 - If a beorc uses something that could be considered technologically advanced for Hyrule (such as an arquebus), they do an extra of damage with that weapon. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the heart image with the above depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any.Tech Mastery - This beorc is very tech savvy, and can use technology to its full potential. MP: Passive. Effect: Increased damage with technological weapons. Damage Increase: [/ul][/div][/blockquote]

[/div] A race noted for their pointed, elven ears. Humorously, because of these ears, they're considered exotic for some reason, though said ears are extremely sensitive. After Beorc, Hylians are the most populated race in the world. While the vast majority are in Hyrule only. While there are stragglers in the other lands, they aren't nearly as populous as they are in Hyrule. Considered one of the oldest races in the world, their ancestry can be dated all the way back to mythic times, before... mostly everyone, actually. Save the Sheikah, whom the Hylians are considered to be evolutionary descendents of. In fact, the Hylians consider themselves to be the chosen ones of the Goddesses due to this fact. They are the most in touch with their magical heritage, and each Hylian is considered capable of using their magic to the fullest potential. If there is ever someone you don't want to get into a magic duel with, it's a Hylian. However, because of their heritage, and their magical affinity, most Hylians, mostly those native to Hyrule, are intensely xenophobic, considering all other races to be beneath them. The only other race they actually respect is the Sheikah, and in fact consider the Sheikah to be superior to them, being the last remnants of their ancestry. Because of their xenophobia, they consider it their duty to make sure the world sees their ways, and so their elite group is not even the Hylian Knights as most assume, but in fact an order of Paladins that are trained in the Temple of Time. As Hylians are elves, no examples for face claims are necessary. RACIAL ABILITIES Magic Affinity - Hylians have supposedly divine blood flowing through them. Though this might actually be an exaggeration, what is not an exaggeration is their very strong sensitivity to magic. Their blood is indeed much more affiliated with magic than the other races, and they can turn this to their advantage. Though it is dangerous, a Hylian is in fact able to void the MP cost of a spell in return for using their life force instead, draining from their Hearts instead of their MP to cast spells. The ratio for HP to MP conversion is 1 heart to 1 MP.Level 0 - The hylian's affinity is dulled, and they cannot use their life force. Level 1 - Once out of MP, the hylian can substitute their own hearts as MP, however, the effect is halved. Level 2 - Once out of MP, the hylian can substitute their own hearts as MP. The spells now work at full effect. Level 3 - The hylian can substitute their own hearts as MP at will, allowing them to use hearts for spells they would prefer not to use MP on. The spells continue work at full effect. Level 4 - Along with being able to use hearts at will and to full effect, now should the Hylian cast a spell that would normally drain their hearts to 0, they will be given a second chance, and will retain rather than falling unconscious. This only works once a thread. Add the following to your tracker. Replace these abilities from top to bottom depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any.Level 1
Magic Affinity - When out of HP, replace the cost of MP with HP. MP: Amount taken from HP depends on the spell required. Effect: Depends on the spell, effect is halved.
Level 2
Magic Affinity + - When out of HP, replace the cost of MP with HP. MP: Amount taken from HP depends on the spell required. Effect: Depends on the spell.
Level 3
Magic Affinity ++ - Substitute the MP cost of a spell with an equal amount of hearts at will. MP: Amount taken from HP depends on the spell required. Effect: Depends on the spell.
Level 4
Magic Affinity +++ - Substitute the MP cost of a spell with an equal amount of hearts at will. - Survive the cost of a spell with a sliver of health; this only works once a thread. MP: Amount taken from HP depends on the spell required. Effect: Depends on the spell. Hylian will remain standing with remaining instead of passing out. Magical Prowess - The Hylians are more immersed and advanced in the arcane arts than anyone else. Many Hylians throughout life are taught various techniques in order to improve their spellcasting capabilities. Simple mental and physical techniques are used to do many different things with a Hylian's mana, and one that has trained for their life can be a rather interesting sight to behold. Level 0 - The hylian's prowess is average, and has no exceptional qualities. Level 1 - By doubling the cost of the spell, the hylian can double its effect, cutting down on time. Level 2 - By doubling the cost of the spell, the hylian is able to have its effects reach multiple friends or enemies. It is worth noting that this also doubles any other additions, meaning that using this on a spell that has been supercharged (its power doubled at the cost of doubling its MP cost) will double THAT. Meaning a supercharged spell charged to hit multiple targets will cost four times as much MP instead of three. Level 3 - The Hylian has learned to conserve their magic, reducing the cost of all spells by 1 MP. Level 4 - Due to their intense magical abilities, a hylian is able to quickly recoup their MP, regaining their MP at a rate of 1 MP a turn.Add the following to your tracker. Add these abilities to your tracker from top to bottom depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any. Do not replace!Level 1
Magical Prowess - At the cost of doubling the MP cost, a Hylian can supercharge a spell. MP: Double the spell being cast. Effect: Depends on the spell, effect is doubled.
Level 2
Magical Prowess + - By doubling the MP cost of a spell, a Hylian can have its effect reach multiple targets up to a maximum of six. MP: Double the cost of the spell being cast. Effect: Depends on the spell, however it reaches multiple targets if a single target spell.
Level 3
Magical Prowess ++ - Reduce the cost of all spells cast. MP: Passive Effect: Reduce the cost of all spells cast by 1
Level 4
Magical Prowess +++ - Passive regeneration of Magic Points. MP: Passive Effect: Every out of turn combat round, regen 1 per turn. Magic Mastery - Hylians, more than anyone else, know how to use magic. Their bloodline has given them an exceptional sensitivity, and they know better than anyone else how to use that magic, what it can do, how to minimize costs, and more importantly; its dangers. While beorc have abandoned their reliance on magic to focus on technology, and the Gerudo stick to skill, the Hylians cling to the divine power that had been granted to them in the first place. Level 0 - No magic bonuses. Level 1 - Any damaging spell cast by a hylian does an extra of damage with that spell. Level 2 - Any damaging spell cast by a hylian does an extra of damage with that spell. Level 3 - Any damaging spell cast by a hylian does an extra of damage with that spell. Level 4 - Any damaging spell cast by a hylian does an extra of damage with that spell. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the heart image with the above depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any.Magic Mastery - This hylian is very well versed in the arcane arts, and can use magic to its full potential. MP: Passive. Effect: Increased damage with blessings. Damage Increase: [/ul][/div][/blockquote]

[/div] If there was ever a people that could be considered warriors, it would be the Gerudo. The Gerudo are a race of mostly tanned women, renowned for their agility, skill, and beauty. Before the Beorc started advancing technologically, the Gerudo were the most fearsome in combat. Despite this, the Gerudo are absolutely nothing to laugh about, and nearly all of them have been trained to fight as a professional soldier. However, most have left the Gerudo become thieves or pirates. That said, though the entire race is 99.9% women, males do in fact exist. Aside from the Pharaoh, it's not impossible for more than one to exist. Because of the Gerudo's extremely aggressive genetics, any Gerudo impregnated will eventually give birth to a borderline clone of themselves due to their genes overwriting anything the father contributed. However, should a male Gerudo sire the child, there is a chance, though very, very slim, that the child will also be a male Gerudo. The Gerudo are much more respectful of most races than the Hylians. They tolerate the other races and openly respect the Beorc for what they have achieved, only really harboring hatred for the Hylians. Like the Hylians, they too have a special order of warriors, which is actually where the majority of males can be found. The Iron Knuckles are beings that, when Gerudo become a sort of living legend, have the opportunity to have their souls bound to a suit of armor, allowing them to become ageless and watch the Spirit Temple, the majority of Gerudo males are Iron Knuckles. Admin Note - Male Gerudo are in fact playable, but they can only be freely played as an Iron Knuckle. In order to play a living Gerudo male, they must be child by blood of the Pharaoh. Permission must be obtained from the Pharaoh beforehand. Some examples of useable Female Gerudo Face Claims would be Shana from Sakugan No Shana, Morgiana from Magi: Labyrinth of Magic, and Francis Drake from Fate/Extra.Some examples of useable Living Male Gerudo Face Claims would be Masrur from Magi: Labyrinth of Magic, Alexander the Great from Fate/Zero, and Jecht from Final Fantasy X.Some examples of useable Iron Knuckle Face Claims would be Lancelot from Fate/Zero, Judge Gabranth from Final Fantasy XII, and the Lich King from Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.RACIAL ABILITIES Life of War - The Gerudo have a harsh life. Constantly preparing for battle and doing everything they can to survive, they are the fiercest warrior race this world has ever known, and they strike fear into lesser combatants. They are raised from birth and taught how to use many different weapons in ways that some people didn't even consider possible. IRON KNUCKLES CANNOT ACCESS THIS RACIAL ABILITY UNLESS THEY HAVE PREVIOUSLY MAXED OUT WILL OF IRON.Level 0 - The gerudo has not experienced the harsh lifestyle that accompanies their race. Level 1 - The gerudo can effortlessly wield what should be a two handed weapon with only one. Level 2 - The gerudo can effortlessly survive in environments that would otherwise need outside aid, even being able to survive the depths of the ocean so long as they have a way to breathe. Level 3 - The gerudo cannot be staggered. If they are struck mid-blow, they will simply continue on. Even blessings designed to create knockback will prove ineffective. Level 4 - Due to constant training, the gerudo can negate any bonus damage that they would normally take. Add the following to your tracker. Add these abilities to your tracker from top to bottom depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any. Do not replace!Level 1
Life of War - Effortlessly wield two handed weapons with one hand. MP: Passive Effect: Allows the use of two handed weaponry with one hand, giving all the strength while sacrificing none of the agility.
Level 2
Life of War + - Effortless survive in dangerous environments. MP: Passive Effect: Spells or items to survive in environments are no longer required.
Level 3
Life of War ++ - Become an unstoppable train. MP: Passive Effect: Immunity to knockback
Level 4
Life of War +++ - Eliminate your weaknesses, take no bonus damage. MP: Passive Effect: Raises all traditional weapon proficiencies (sword, lance, axe, bow) to B. Will of Iron - Being chosen to become an Iron Knuckle is actually considered a huge honor in Gerudo culture. It's a sign that the entire nation wishes to see you immortalized, believing you have a higher purpose. While the majority of Iron Knuckles are in fact, males that had once led the nation, there are females too. However, by being bound, they lose their body, and the suit of armor becomes their new body. While they can no longer use the natural conditioning that they received in life, the armor has its perks too. NORMAL GERUDO CANNOT ACCESS THIS RACIAL ABILITY.Level 0 - The Iron Knuckle is just a walking suit of armor. Level 1 - The Iron Knuckle's limbs are considered weapons, and can be upgraded as such. They also receive benefits from Weapon Mastery. Level 2 - As their chosen weapon is part of their soul, they can freely call it to their side and dismiss it. Level 3 - As the armor is animated through the binding of the soul and sheer willpower, the Iron Knuckle can move any parts of their armor independently, allowing them to easily reassemble themselves if necessary. Level 4 - The Iron Knuckle's will is so strong they can craft a shell to mimic the appearance they had in life. However, it is nothing but a shell. This does however, allow access to the Life of War racial ability, though they are mutually exclusive. If in the appearance of their shell, Will of Iron cannot be utilized, and if in their true state, Life of War cannot be utilized. Add the following to your tracker. Add these abilities to your tracker from top to bottom depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any. Do not replace!Level 1
Will of Iron - Turn one's fists into upgradeable weapons. MP: Passive Effect: Unarmed damage can be upgraded.
Level 2
Will of Iron + - Call forth your soul and summon your weapon. MP: 0 Effect: Summon your weapon back to you at will, bypasses Divest.
Level 3
Will of Iron ++ - Recall your scattered parts to you. MP: 0 Effect: If knocked apart, immediately reform.
Level 4
Will of Iron +++ - Return to what you once were through an iron will. MP: Effect: Reverts the Iron Knuckle to a Gerudo appearance and opens up Life of War Spirit and Technique - Gerudo are trained in unique circumstances and are taught to survive in the harshest conditions. They have capabilities that other races simply can't measure up to. A life filled with teachings of tradition and martial combat have left them with techniques that can either give them an edge, or constantly diminish an opponent's. THIS IS ACCESSIBLE TO BOTH NORMAL GERUDO AND IRON KNUCKLES.Level 0 - Nothing special here, move along. Level 1 - The gerudo can maintain their skill even when visually impaired. Whether they've been hit with a blind spell, just lost an eye or someone just turned the lights out, the gerudo can adapt instantly and continue on as if nothing's happened by relying on other senses. Level 2 - The gerudo can also continue on as if nothing's happened even when mentally impaired. Whether they've been thrown into a berserk state or even when just completely drunk, the gerudo can operate with the full scale of their skills, even if they can't actually think straight. Level 3 - The gerudo has a phenomenal sense of durability, and can even mitigate the elements to a minor extent, reducing the elemental bonus damage they would normally take by half. Meaning that if they were to take an extra two hearts of damage thanks to an element weakness, they would only take one instead. Level 4 - The gerudo, using stunning speed, is able to immediately close the distance with any opponent, forcing them into a melee confrontation; very useful against ranged fighters. Add the following to your tracker. Add these abilities to your tracker from top to bottom depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any. Do not replace!Level 1
Spirit and Technique - Maintain one's skill even when visually impaired. MP: Passive Effect: Grants Immunities to Blind and Hallucination.
Level 2
Spirit and Technique + - Maintain your discipline and formation even when mentally impaired. MP: Passive Effect: Grants Immunities to Chaos and Dizzy.
Level 3
Spirit and Technique ++ - Reduce the pain one suffers from their weaknesses. MP: Passive Effect: Bonus damage taken from an element you are weak to is halved.
Level 4
Spirit and Technique +++ - Let none escape, close the distance and bring your blade to your foe. MP: Effect: Immediately move within striking distance of your opponent. Weapon Mastery - The Gerudo spend their lives training with various weapons. They're not as biased towards magic as the hylians, and they view the humans turning to technology as a sort of blasphemy, even if they do see humans as equals in combat. Using their strict discipline and training, it's easy to say that the Gerudo are the most skilled race in Hyrule, able to use nearly any weapon with a level of skill that most other races simply can't match. However, this does not apply to unarmed martial arts unless the character is an Iron Knuckle with a first level in Will of Iron.Level 0 - No weapon bonuses. Level 1 - All weapon damage is increased by Level 2 - All weapon damage is increased by Level 3 - All weapon damage is increased by Level 4 - All weapon damage is increased by Add the following to your tracker. Replace the heart image with the above depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any.Weapon Mastery - This Gerudo is truly skilled with their weapons, such as swords, bows, axes, what have you. THE UNCOMMON RACES 50 POSTS REQUIRED The Uncommon Races are Races that are still around in the world, but in a much lesser population than Beorc, Hylians, or Gerudo. They simply do not have the numbers that the common races do. While Goron, Zora, and Laguz are the only playable uncommon races, most of the other races, such as Deku, or Fairies, and such, are also considered uncommon. In order to play an Uncommon race, you must first reach 50 posts.
GORON A race of living Golems. No one is really sure how the Gorons come to be or how they are born into this world. Even the Gorons aren't totally sure themselves. However, they do exist and that's all there is to it. The Gorons are noted for being large, hulking beings, easily towering over... just about everyone else, really. Their large frames, extremely heavy weight, and being made of stone, give them quite a lot of strength. There are no Goron females. Though truth be told to say that the Gorons are a race of males would also be inaccurate. Technically, the Gorons don't actually have a gender, nor do they sexually reproduce. In essence, while you could have a masculine looking Goron or a feminine looking Goron, they have no actual gender, nor do they have the actual parts dictating their gender. They are renowned for their metallurgy, and their hotsprings. Yes, their hotsprings are often considered quite the resort. Not only that, but they are the leaders in unarmed combat, even surpassing the mighty Gerudo in this one regard. However, unlike the Gerudo, the Goron practice their martial arts simply for sport and recreational purposes, and occasionally spiritual purposes. Despite their imposing nature, they're easily the friendliest race around, and welcome most everyone with open arms. However, be careful of those arms, a hug from a Goron can be rather... uh, crushing. Admin Note: Do take note that if a Goron falls in the ocean, they will die. GORONS CAN WITHSTAND EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS SUCH AS EXTREME HEAT OR COLD WITHOUT THE AID OF SPELLS OR ITEMS. HOWEVER, AS A DINGHY CANNOT SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF A GORON, A COG IS THE MINIMUM FOR A GORON TO EXPLORE THE OCEAN. GORONS ALSO DO 1/2 HEART OF UNARMED DAMAGE BY DEFAULT. Some examples of useable Goron Face Claims would be Shale from Dragon Age: Origins for a Goron more oriented towards a typical Golem appearance. Another would be Asura from Asura's Wrath for those wanting to lean towards a more human appearance. And lastly Heracles from Fate/Stay Night for something closer in between. RACIAL ABILITIES Stoneskin - Gorons are well, golems. They also spend a good chunk of their existence in extremely hot environments and most Gorons are so accustomed to these environments that it actually reduces the damage that one would normally take when they receive fre damage. That said, it does not completely nullify fire damage. In the event that the reduction would reduce said damage to no damage, the Goron will instead take damage. If this racial is taken, a Goron can also use this as grounds to have their own body act as their armor.Level 0 - The Goron takes full fire damage. Level 1 - Fire damage is reduced by Level 2 - Fire damage is reduced by Level 3 - Fire damage is reduced by Level 4 - Fire damage is reduced by Add the following to your tracker. Replace the heart image with the above depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any.Stoneskin - Reduce any damage by fire that you would suffer. MP: Passive Effect: Reduce fire damage by Discount - It's dangerous to go alone! Take this. Metallurgy is a very prominent part of Goron culture and is a common profession for the golems. Most Gorons know either how to work metal, or have connections to some smiths that know how to work metal. Because of this, they can cut out the middle man, or can perhaps convince the middle man to go easy, allowing them to get a discount when upgrading their weapons or armor. When upgrading, a Goron may use this to simply upgrade the weapons themselves, rather than go to the NPCs. And yes, this does stack if you're also the Scrapshop Owner.Level 0 - The Goron does not get a discount when upgrading weapons or armor. Level 1 - The Goron gets a 5% discount when upgrading weapons or armor. Level 2 - The Goron gets a 10% discount when upgrading weapons or armor. Level 3 - The Goron gets a 15% discount when upgrading weapons or armor. Level 4 - The Goron gets a 20% discount when upgrading weapons or armor. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the percentage with the above depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any.Discount - Connections and skill allow you to cut down on price. MP: Passive Effect: Reduce the price of upgrading weapons or armor by 5% Unarmed Mastery - Never fight a Goron in hand to hand combat, at least not unless you yourself are also a Goron. As it is, a Goron already deals damage with their hands. However, the Gorons are known for their hand to hand mastery, practicing many different martial arts, but preferring sumo wrestling. Take in this love for the various martial arts and add in their immense super strength, and you've got a cocktail for pain. Level 0 - The Goron just deals their default unarmed damage. Level 1 - A Goron deals with their bare hands. Level 2 - A Goron deals with their bare hands. Level 3 - A Goron deals with their bare hands. Level 4 - In addition to the above, should a Goron use gauntlets, the damage from the gauntlets stack with the Goron's hands. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the heart image with the above depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any. HOWEVER! At level 4, add the second ability, DO NOT REPLACE!Levels 1 - 3
Unarmed Mastery - This Goron is a Master of Martial Arts MP: Passive. Effect: Increased unarmed damage. Damage Dealt with Hands:
Level 4
Unarmed Mastery + - Pummel your foes with unparalleled fury. MP: Passive. Effect: Stack the effects of gloves/gauntlets with unarmed damage.

[/div] Here fishy fishy fishy. The Zora are a race of aquatic humanoids. By hatching via eggs, Zoras are spawned into the world. They usually have some sort of aquatic feature, even if it isn't regular looking fish. It could be sharks or octoroks or any sort of aquatic creature that contributes to their appearance. They aren't much on land, and in truth are quite easy to overpower when they are far away from a source of water, but once they are in a source of water, that is when you get away. There is nothing that can beat a Zora in the water fairly. Not unless you have overwhelming power. In a way, it could be said that it is the Zora that rule the seas because of this. However, despite such fearsome capabilities, the Zora just... don't really care. They don't care too much for the dealings of the outside world. They'll help travelers when needed, but other than that, they don't care if the Hylians are contemplating war with the Gerudo again. No they just want to be left alone to do their own thing. That thing, or things, really seems to be a fascination with music in general. Zora are known for their quite famous bands, and if there's a rock star in the world, it's probably a Zora. This has gotten them a bit of a reputation for being heart throbs and heart breakers, both male and female alike. They also probably don't like being called "fishy." ZORA CAN BREATHE UNDERWATER AND THUS DO NOT NEED ANY SPELLS OR ITEMS TO ALLOW THEM TO DO SO. THEY CAN ALSO EXPLORE THE GREAT SEA WITHOUT A BOAT. Some examples of useable Zora Face Claims would be Mutio from Blue Submarine No. 6 for something a bit more human related. Eridan Ampora from Homestuck for something in the middle. And Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean for something more on the monstrous side. RACIAL ABILITIES Eletrical Barrier - A Zora's biology can be considered unique. In most Zoras bodies, there are organs that are formed from electrocytes that can produce an electrical charge. By taking advantage of this, some Zora are able to create an electric barrier around their bodies, shocking and dealing damage to those around them. Level 0 - The Zora cannot create Electric Barriers. Level 1 - The Zora can create an electric barrier that does damage at a cost of for every turn this is used. Level 2 - The Zora can create an electric barrier that does damage at a cost of for every turn this is used. Level 3 - The Zora can create an electric barrier that does damage at a cost of for every turn this is used. Level 4 - The Zora can create an electric barrier that does damage at a cost of for every turn this is used. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the heart images and MP images with the above depending on the current level you have in this racial ability, if any.Electrical Barrier - Create an Electrical Barrier to damage enemies around you in an area of effect. Effect: Fin Blades - Some Zora have the ability to harden their fins, turning them into actual weapons. The sharpness and toughness of these fins vary, but it's possible for them to match actual weapons of steel at higher levels. Combined with the water prowess that they can achieve, they can end up becoming positively deadly when fighting in the water. Level 0 - The Zora cannot use their fins as weaponry. Level 1 - A Zora's fins count as a level 0 dual weapon. Level 2 - A Zora's fins count as a level 1 dual weapon. Level 3 - A Zora's fins count as a level 2 dual weapon. Level 4 - A Zora's fins count as a level 3 dual weapon. In addition, they gain the Boomerang ability, allowing them to be thrown as projectiles and returned to the Zora's arms. They still however, do only damage. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the previous version with the next one, top to bottom, as you progress through this racial ability.Level 1

That would be the Zora. You want a race that can give even the pirates pause? That would be the Zora. The Zora are at their best when they are in the water, and to watch them work kind of makes one wish they had a crew of Zora for when they do go exploring on the waters of the oceans. With this ability, most Zora will find that they can easily defeat most of the beasties the waters of the Great Sea have to offer. Level 0 - No water bonuses. Level 1 - A Zora deals of extra damage to all physical attacks when fighting in the water. Level 2 - A Zora deals of extra damage to all physical attacks when fighting in the water. [/div] The Laguz is really the official term for animal people. The Laguz are comprised of two different types; Beasts, and Birds. The Beasts are comprised mostly of cats, tigers, lions, canines (mostly wolves), and another species called the Taguel (though they're mostly just giant bunnies). The Birds on the other hand, are comprised mostly of hawks, ravens, and herons. They also have a vehement hatred of weaponry and armor. They prefer only to use their own talons and claws, and find Laguz using any form of weaponry, no matter what it is, to be exceptionally dishonorable. So because of this, their transformed state functions as both upgradeable weapons and armor. The Laguz are rather well spread otu, and have their hands in everything that the world has to offer, despite their declining numbers. Unfortunately, the Laguz are not liked anywhere save Skyloft. Admittedly, the continent of Hyrule has their own names for the Laguz; they call the beast Laguz "Minish", and they call the bird Laguz "Rito". However, there is a name that is much more common across the entire planet for the Laguz; sub-human. It's meant as a slur, and the Laguz definitely don't take kindly to it at all. Because of this, there is a lot of bad blood between the Laguz, and pretty much every other race on the planet, though the Manaketes do not call them sub-humans and in turn, receive much more respect from the Laguz. The Laguz are also split into several different states, each ruled by the strongest Laguz who can be challenged and overthrown at any time by a stronger warrior. However, there are weaknesses to watch out for. ALL BEAST LAGUZ ARE WEAK TO FIRE, AND ALL BIRD LAGUZ ARE WEAK TO WIND.Some examples of useable Beast Laguz Face Claims would be Inuyasha from Inuyasha, Mye from Vagrants, and Amaterasu from Okami. Some examples of useable Bird Laguz Face Claims would be Pit from Kid Icarus, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy, and Elysium from Soul Calibur.RACIAL ABILITIES Formshift - A Laguz has the natural ability to shift into their animal form. Many consider this their pride, and prefer to fight only when transformed. At higher levels, they can remain shifted longer, and perhaps even indefinitely. However, care must be taken. If a Laguz and a non-Laguz conceive a child, the Laguz WILL lose their ability to Formshift. PERMANENTLY. They will however, be given a partial refund. They do not get the points spent back, but can gain new points to put into other racials (i.e. A Laguz with 2 points in Formshift loses their ability to do so will not get the 2 points back, but can gain 2 more racial points). Level 0 - The Laguz cannot Formshift. Either they have abandoned this form or they have lost it. Level 1 - The Laguz can Formshift and remain shifted for 4 turns. After they revert, they must wait 4 turns before they can shift again. Level 2 - The Laguz can Formshift and remain shifted for 5 turns. After they revert, they must wait 4 turns before they can shift again. Level 3 - The Laguz can Formshift and remain shifted for 6 turns. After they revert, they must wait 4 turns before they can shift again. Level 4 - The Laguz can freely shift between their animal and human form at will, whenever they desire. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the turn numbers as you upgrade this racial. At level 4, replace the entire racial ability with the final ability.Levels 1 - 3

Mitigation - Some Laguz, quite reasonably, take steps to ensure that their elemental weakness isn't their undoing. Birds train to reduce Wind damage, as Beasts train to reduce Fire damage. Level 0 - There is no damage reduction. Level 1 - Fire or Wind damage, depending on Laguz type, is reduced by Level 2 - Fire or Wind damage, depending on Laguz type, is reduced by Level 3 - Fire or Wind damage, depending on Laguz type, is reduced by Level 4 - Fire or Wind damage, depending on Laguz type, is reduced by Add the following to your tracker. MP: Passive. Damage Reduction: Forest Mastery - BEAST LAGUZ ONLY. Some Laguz have spent their lives living in the woods and the forests, it becomes second nature to know how to handle all the roots and obstacles, and they can practically navigate it blindfolded. Even if forced to fight untransformed, Beast Laguz will find that they hold quite the advantage when in the woods. Level 0 - No forest bonuses. Level 1 - The Beast Laguz deals more damage, regardless of transformation state, while surrounded by woodland. Level 2 - The Beast Laguz deals more damage, regardless of transformation state, while surrounded by woodland. In the sky, Bird Laguz are extraordinarily dangerous, outmatched only by the Knights of Skyloft. Level 0 - No sky bonuses. Level 1 - The Bird Laguz deals more damage, regardless of transformation state, when airborne. Level 2 - The Bird Laguz deals more damage, regardless of transformation state, when airborne. Level 3 - The Bird Laguz deals more damage, regardless of transformation state, when airborne. Level 4 - The Bird Laguz deals more damage, regardless of transformation state, when airborne. Damage Increase: Shifting Mastery - As Laguz, it's only natural that they should prefer their animal state. Some however, have become so in tune with it, that they deal extra damage with it. Level 0 - No shifting bonuses. Level 1 - The Laguz deals more damage when transformed. Level 2 - The Laguz deals more damage when transformed. Level 3 - The Laguz deals more damage when transformed. Level 4 - The Laguz deals more damage when transformed. [/div] Rare races are those that really don't have much of a presence in the world. Due to extremely low numbers, they are what they are claimed to be; rare. Honestly, most people actually go their entire lives without meeting one of these people. As for how many there are, well for Sheikah and Twili; a safe way to gauge numbers is to check the accepted database. If there are three Sheikah/Twili in the accepted database, then there are three Sheikah/Twili in the world. In order to play a rare character, you need either 100 posts. Also, Rare races cannot be made into NPCS.
SHEIKAH The Shadow folk. The Sheikah have always been shrouded in myth and legend since their near extinction. Because of this they have managed to gather a larger than life reputation. They are noted for their distinctive red eyes. The Sheikah are actually the ancestors of the Hylians, and could possibly be called the true Hylians. Because of their small numbers, they have had to preserve themselves when possible, and as a result, have become unparalleled masters of stealth and underhanded tactics. They are often employed as assassins for the Royal Family, but some have gone to find their own way. As for face claims... anything with red eyes, honestly. RACIAL ABILITIES Stealth - Red eyes aside, the Sheikah are iconic for their absolutely masterful stealth ability. They are silent, incredibly deadly, and not someone you want coming after you because you're guaranteed to be in huge trouble. The rumor that the Royal Family occasionally uses their royal guard to assassinate others isn't totally unheard of, such is their stealth. Level 0 - The Sheikah is not stealthy. Level 1 - The Sheikah can move silently, and cannot be detected by way of footsteps. Level 2 - If the Sheikah remains unseen when they make their first strike, the blow will inflict Silence on the victim. Level 3 - If the Sheikah remains unseen when they make their first strike, the blow will do double the damage of the Sheikah's equipped weapon. Level 4 - If the Sheikah remains unseen when they make their first strike, the blow will inflict a Critical Wound on the victm. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the previous version with the next one, top to bottom, as you progress through this racial ability.Level 1
Stealth - Make no noise when taking any step. MP: Passive Effect: Cannot be detected by footsteps.
Level 2
Stealth - Make no noise when taking any step and make sure the first strike is the last. MP: Passive Effect: -Cannot be detected by footsteps. -If hidden, the first attack by the Sheikah will inflict Silence.
Level 3
Stealth - Make no noise when taking any step and make sure the first strike is the last. MP: Passive Effect: -Cannot be detected by footsteps. -If hidden, the first attack by the Sheikah will do double damage and inflict Silence.
Level 4
Stealth - Make no noise when taking any step and make sure the first strike is the last. MP: Passive Effect: -Cannot be detected by footsteps. -If hidden, the first attack by the Sheikah will do double damage, inflict Silence and a Critical Wound. Eye of Truth - The Eye of Truth, the artifact, was based upon the Sheikah's fabled ability of perception. That said, the Sheikah do not need the Eye of Truth, as it's quite true, and it's something that they can actually do naturally. There is no fooling a trained Sheikah, nor is there hiding from one. Level 0 - Just like everyone else. Level 1 - The Sheikah can detect another character's alignment. Level 2 - The Sheikah can see through any form of invisibility. Level 3 - The Sheikah can see through any illusion that would require the Eye of Truth. Level 4 - The Sheikah can see another character's health and magic power. Add the following to your tracker. Replace the previous version with the next one, top to bottom, as you progress through this racial ability.Level 1
Eye of Truth - See the truth for what it is. MP: Effect: Detect a character's alignment.

Poison Mastery - Throughout their many, many years, the Sheikah have managed to refine their craft to such an extent, that any status effects inflicted will actually lost longer than they usually do, allowing for that one extra turn to cause some trouble. Woe be to the enemy poisoned by a true master of this craft. Level 0 - There is no extension. Level 1 - All temporary status effects are extended by 1 turn. Level 2 - All temporary status effects are extended by 2 turns. Level 3 - All temporary status effects are extended by 3 turns. Level 4 - All temporary status effects are extended by 4 turns. Add the following to your tracker. Simply add one number to the amount of turns extended for each level you have in this.Poison Mastery - Extend the length of status effects. [/div] A race not native to this world. The Twili only exist within the Twilight Realm, having been banished there years ago for their responsibility in the War of the Gods. Despite this though, it might be possible for a Twili to somehow wind up in the Realm of Light, free from their banishment. A Twili is immediately able to be picked out of a crowd, due to their skin color, markings, or just general feel. They feel like they aren't of this world. As for relations, the Twili don't know what to make of the world. When a Twili arrives in the Light Realm, that's it. They're here forever. There is no checking back on everyone, there is no going home when tired of the Light Realm. They've effectively stranded themselves here for all time and they will never ever be able to go home. Because Twili have never shown up until now, people will not be able to look at a Twili and say "Twili" nor will they recognize them as an Interloper. They are a complete unknown. If a Twili wishes to blend in, they could always paint their skin color to something more of what one would find in the Light Realm via make up. Twili also have their own language. For this, we use Al Bhed. For the most part, a Twili won't recognize Common. However, this can be averted if the Twili has studied archaic languages as a part of history or something. All Twili are under the element of Shadow. Though they can branch into a regular element and thus gain the affiliation of that, their primary element will always be Shadow. Natural Skin Colors - Blue, Purple, Grey, Charcoal Black Some examples of useable Twili Face Claims would be Orochi from Warriors Orochi, the Demi-Fiend from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, and Sylvanas Windrunner from Warcraft. Incidentally, Drow as a race would also work for Face Claims, such as Viconia DeVir from Baldur's Gate.RACIAL ABILITIES Shadow Beast - The Twili are the descendents of the Dark Interlopers, beings cast into the Twilight Realm as punishment for the damage caused by their dark magic. The main scope of this ancient magic, at least the kind that has survived and inherently runs in the Twili's bloodline, is the magic of shapeshifting. They can turn into monstrous forms to boost their power. However, in this state, the Twili takes double damage from any holy, fire or light attack and they cannot use their magic. Like the Gorons, if any damage would be nullified, it instead does .Level 0 - The Twili is limited to their true form. Level 1 - The Twili can shift into a monstrous form, gaining a damage boost to all physical attacks and reducing the damage of all physical attacks by . They cannot use magic in this state however, and also take double damage from fire, holy, or light based attacks. Level 2 - The Twili can shift into a monstrous form, gaining a damage boost to all physical attacks and reducing the damage of all physical attacks by . They cannot use magic in this state however, and also take double damage from fire, holy, or light based attacks. Level 3 - The Twili can shift into a monstrous form, gaining a damage boost to all physical attacks and reducing the damage of all physical attacks by . They cannot use magic in this state however, and also take double damage from fire, holy, or light based attacks. Level 4 - The Twili can shift into a monstrous form, gaining a damage boost to all physical attacks and reducing the damage of all physical attacks by . They are able to step in and out of shadows at their own leisure, they are able to hide in others' shadows as if it were their own home. And when they take on the forms of shadows, while they cannot harm any in the Light Realm, they themselves cannot be harmed either. Level 0 - The Twili cannot manipulate the shadows. Level 1 - The Twili can shift into a dark, translucent form, known as the Shadow Form. They cannot hurt anyone in this state, but they themselves cannot be hurt in turn. Level 2 - The Twili can hide out in another character's shadow while in this form, taking up less room and revealing themselves when they please. Level 3 - The Twili can move from shadow to shadow as they please while in this form. Level 4 - The Twili can pour themselves into an inanimate object's shadow, allowing them to possess it in case their body isn't right for the job. Some choose to fight it until the bitter end, while some choose to embrace their heritage, but put it to their own uses. Level 0 - The blood has been rejected. [/div] Manaketes, also known as dragons, are among the oldest beings in the world. Some of them have been around for over a thousand years, and are even old enough to remember the War of the Gods, as in having actively taken part in it. However, as orders from Naga, they have been forced to take on the forms of Hylians and Beorc, sealing their power away except only in extreme circumstances. Like the Laguz, they hate using actual weapons, and view using them as dishonorable. They can grow to a large size, about the size of a house when transformed into their dragon state, and can breathe streams of fire, as well as take flight. Their dragonhide, talons, and if they have the racial, breath acts as upgradeable weapons and armor.Manaketes have almost always been incredibly isolationist. Living in the small, neutral state of Goldoa. They do not welcome travelers, whether they be Laguz or not. Trespassers will be given one strict warning to leave, and after that, they will likely use force. The only exception is a Knight of Skyloft on official business, and even then it will be made with gritted teeth. This is due to due the events of the Scouring, in which the humanoid races of the two continents attempted to exterminate the Manaketes once and for all. They are known for their sheer power, and Skyloft has made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that if the Manaketes play the role of aggressor in any war, that they will intervene, oaths be damned. Manaketes have their own language, using the dragon tongue from Skyrim and this translator.Manakete face claims can be any human or elf, go ahead and pick a dragon form otherwise. HYBRID HUMAN AND HYLIAN HYBRIDS COUNT AS COMMON BRANDED COUNT AS UNCOMMON SHEIKAH AND MANAKETE HYBRIDS COUNT AS RARENot everyone is a pureblood. Love is a thing of beauty. and the truth is love does not discriminate, and it's not unheard of for people of different races to fall in love with each other. In some cases, this love can end up bearing a child that bears traits of both its parents. However, not all of them can produce a child. Some are simply biologically incompatible. The following races can produce hybrids, but only with each other. Humans, Hylians, Laguz, Sheikah, Manaketes, and Twili are the only races that can hybrid.Human and Hylian hybrids are quite common. Sheikah hybrids are rare. Twili hybrids simply don't exist. While in time, Twilit hybrids could be born, it's not possible as of now. As for racial abilities, while a hybrid will receive some traits from both parents, the racial abilities will always be determined by the dominant side of the hybrid. That is, a Human/Hylian hybrid will have Hylian abilities if their Hylian side is dominant. But you probably saw the "Branded" part and wondered what was up with that? Well, Branded are simply Laguz Hybrids. On birth, Branded manifest a brand of sorts denoting they are a hybrid, thus the name. Also called "No parents", Branded are rejected by all but Skyloft, who are actually quite (the second character is p) a common occurance in Skyloft. They always have the non-Laguz parent's race as the dominant, regardless of whether the Laguz is the father or mother. The Laguz parent, regardless of gender, loses their ability to formshift.
GHOSTS Oooh spooky~ When a character dies, they aren't immediately archived. Rather, they are given a second chance of sorts. In the event of a character death, the player of said character is given a choice; they can either become a Poe, whereas they are incorporeal, and while they cannot be physically harmed, they themselves cannot physically interact with others. The other option is an Einherjar, a state where through sheer willpower, the deceased can retain their form in a corporeal manner, but they are not the same. Either way All Racial Abilities are disabled until potential resurrection. How do you get resurrected? Well I won't be giving that one up so easily~ That said, if you die again as a Poe/Einherjar, that's it; game over.
NPCs Yes, NPCs are playable. Sort of. They really only exist for plot reasons or for small roles that might come in handy here and there. Save for Keatons or Fairies that have achieved 20 hearts, they cannot travel at all unless admin permission is obtained beforehand. They do not get their own accounts, they do not get their own stats or weapons or blessings. The only thing an NPC can have that a playable character does not, is they can be races that aren't playable. However, there are limits. If you wish to play an NPC, PM an admin beforehand.[/div][/blockquote][/ul]
