the power of love is more lethal than steel The young singer looked around at the open stage, the bright lights, all of the empty spaces that would soon be filled with people. Stage fright was nonexistent to her, it was the throngs of screaming fans that instilled a sense of horrible panic in her rather voluptuous chest. The stage though, that was her element, and she was about to rock it. The only other being present at that moment was her designated security – a must have for the Indigo-Go’s wherever they toured, but especially for Venus. As the lead singer, she garnered the most attention wherever they went, especially from men, and tonight was to be a solo performance. Thus, she’d begged her current guardian to come along, and succeeded in landing a fierce soldier to work out the security details. Lilo. Venus didn’t know where Lilo had gone off to, but she was due back soon to go over the plans one more time. They had about an hour until show time, crowds would be showing up any minute now. The venue was gorgeous, a stage just on the shore of the beautiful Lake Hylia – an enchanting spot all the time, but a spot that Venus hoped to transform with her own brand of vocal magic. She glanced up at a slowly sinking sun, she really ought to find Lilo. Tagged: @lulua Notes: She's an anxious mess without Lilo~ Word Count: 223

I WILL ALWAYS BE PROUD OF YOU
"I'm a soldier....I'm a soldier." Lilo sighed. So why pray tell was she working commercial security detail for one singer? A personal favor to a dear friend. Itis something good people are usually up for. However, personal favors to dear friends are never something one wants to actually do. No one ever cashes in a personal favor, thinking the person would've been willing otherwise. No, personal favors are reserved for getting a loved one to do something everyone knows they will hate.
This was no exception. As Lilo marched through an empty hall, irritable with a naked feeling since her axes had been checked in at the front desk, she let out a heavy breath. She darted to the singer/annoyance/dear friend. Before she had approached her, the young soldier was careful to loosen her mood, considerate of the girl's feelings. Fame, forced extroversion, and all the gross dudes in the world couldn't change the little girl that Lilo adored so much. However the anxiousness and paltry fear of sweaty fanboys was of no reflection of Venus' character or how Lilo felt about the girl. After all, Venus was the one was able to leave the river first.
The soldier leaped onto the stage and met her shoulder to Venus', standing right by her side. She placed a strong arm around her comfort.
"You can do this Venus."

the power of love is more lethal than steel Ah, Lilo was finally there. Venus always derived comfort and confidence from the other Zora’s words. This was one of her first solo performances without the rest of the Indigo-Go’s, so there would be a higher percentage of crazed fanboys in the crowd tonight – she needed all the help she could get from Lilo. It wasn’t that she couldn’t handle herself in a fight, because she absolutely could when she was provoked, but as a performer, aggression could ruin her career. Additionally, a mob mentality was dangerous, and she hated the thought of being swarmed all at once. She shivered just at the thought of it. Venus smiled softly at Lilo. They weren’t that far apart in age, but Lilo had acted as a surrogate older sister to her for a long while, and was one of her closest friends and only links to the Zora after she’d left. “Thank you for coming, really, you’re helping me a lot tonight. I hate to make you wait around doing this boring stuff, but you know I can’t legally attack a fan,” she said, with a slight smirk on her face. She looked out to the open stage. There was a crowd gathering now, already excited to see the singer live. “So… you’ll be right near me during the whole thing, right? I just want to go over it one more time,” she said. The set list wasn’t incredibly long for the night, so at least Lilo wouldn’t be too bored for a long time. At least she’d have music to keep her occupied, if no one decided to stir up trouble. “Oh, Lilo, you’ll have to let me know what you think of the first song, it’s new!” Venus added, trying to add a glimmer of fun to the job her friend was taking care of. She was excited about the new song, hopefully it would be a hit! Her solo project was really just a temporary arrangement while the band was coming up with new content, but Venus always aimed for excellence, no matter the circumstances. She glanced out at the stage again, the sun was nearly gone now, it was almost time to start! Tagged: @lulua Notes: I have a feeling someone’s gonna “stir up trouble” Word Count: 365
