The laguz's stomach growled loudly, but the sound of the waves that lapped on the shore probably blocked it out. Her ears drooped as she watched the fish swim by her lure, apparently uninterested in what she had to offer. Jamie sat on one of the wooden bridges that connected the main shore of Lake Hylia to the other side where it was more fertile and a bit more private. Hopefully there would be no one around to witness her fail of an attempt at catching a meal. Jamie sighed softly and twitched her ears, but then a light jingling sound made her perk them up again. That's right! She had a special earring from back home that would do the trick. It was red and sun-shaped, and it hung from a hook that she had put through the tip of her ear. She beamed for a moment as she took the earring and looped it through the wire she was using. Once she had fashioned the makeshift fishing hook, she threw it back in the water and watched as a few fish became mesmerized by the shiny object. Once she had a bite, she tugged hard on the makeshift pole, but it seemed the effort was too much. It was like life was moving in slow motion now as she watched the fish soar above her head. Her mouth widened in wonder as she continued to lean back, watching the fish go farther and farther... until PLOP~ She had fallen onto her back, hitting her head on the way down. The fish flopped and flailed on the grass as Jamie sat up and rubbed her head. "Ow ow ow..." she whined, gaining her bearings before getting her fish... Unless someone or something else got to it first. @open/come join meee either steal her fish or have a creature steal it idc ©

On a nice, warm sunny day such as this one, all the little blonde wanted to do was sprawl out on the fuzzy grass soaking up some sun beside the shorelines of Lake Hylia. Perched comfortably on the ground, she was weaving a crown of flowers from a patch of wild flowers growing from the accommodating climate. A twist of the stem, a little arrangement there~ Annnnnd that was how it was done! Her attention was quickly diverted at the sound of splashing coming from nearby. Bright eyes flickered from her craft to see somebody... fishing? There was a fish flopping wildly. Not being the type to sit and watch a scene play out, Seyka lifted herself up to check on the person's well-being. As she got closer, she jumped at the sight of a bird swooping down taking the vulnerable fish before flying off. “Hey! You thieving bag of feathers! Give that back!” she shouted at the bird. “Get back here!”She attempted to chase after it, but didn't get far before making a big splash. Logic eluded her that, unlike the bird who could fly and have free movement anywhere, she was a land creature who was limited to the ground. She tried running after it until there was no more land before falling into the chilly cold water of the lake. Resurfacing up, she got out of the water. Dripping wet, and defeated she looked back over to the fisher. “Sorry...I wish I could've done something sooner.”tag: @rin notes: Getting back into RPing. The swooping bird had caught the fish before Jamie could crawl her way over to it. Welp, that was another meal lost today. What worried her even more however, was the young blonde girl who had fallen into the water after chasing after the bird. Jamie peeked over the edge of the bridge until she saw the girl come up for air. When she went to the shore, Jamie walked along the bridge until she met up with the soaked girl. Her wolf ears drooped a little at remembering the fish. "Hauuu... It's okay. Maybe that bird needed the fish more than I did." But she'd be lying if she didn't just feel her stomach grumble and gurgle. Jamie looked back to the spot where her fish was, with a longing look on her face. If only she'd been faster... She was about to slump her shoulders and look away, but an object glimmered in the sun and caught her eye. "Oh yeah!" she piped up, quickly making her way to the spot. She padded softly along the grass with her almost-bare feet and knelt to inspect the object. The fish had managed to drop her earring! Her fluffy white tail wagged happily as she pocketed the little charm. She'd have to clean it before putting it back in! Not far away from the incident was also another peculiar item. Jamie's ears perked as she knelt to inspect this new item. It was not one, not two... not even three, but a bunch of flowers woven together. She lifted the circle of flowers and looked at it for a moment, inspecting it, sniffing the flowers, and eventually smiling and wagging her tail again. "Did you make this?" she asked the girl as she walked back over to her with her hand outstretched and offering the flower crown. @seyka / apologies for the lateness. i never mind if seysey steals one of my threads. ♥ ©
