It is 2013, and the apocalypse has happened. It happened on December 21st, 2012, as the Mayans predicted, but not as everyone expected. There was the expectation by some that there would be some excess solar energy that would cook us, or that the earth would implode, or that there would be a meteor shower. But they were all wrong, they were all so very wrong. You see, the apocalypse didn't result in the end of humanity, it resulted in something else: Heaven and Hell on Earth. That was what our apocalypse was. But not even the greatest scientific minds, or the most devout of preachers, could ever have predicted that when the 21st of December rolled around that Hell would open up and threaten to destroy all that we know and love.
Because of the plot and its basis, From Heaven Fallen is a site built by and for its members. The codex, originally written by admins to form a basis for the site lore, is a member collaboration, built upon and expanded upon by members of FHF. Places and organisations will crop up because of member input and the site's constant evolution is down to the members who RP upon it. Help us build a tangible world from the bare bones upward. This is as much your site as ours, if not more. The admins are simply here to oversee the development - if it fits the existing lore, chances are, it's part of the site's natural evolution.
